1. Course OverView: Hey, guys, thank you for checking my course. My name is Mango sama, and I'm here to teach you how to use the extremely powerful adobe after effects to create slight chauffeur images or videos with sliding glass moving over and magnifying footage in text like this todo jungle, - I will walk you through the motion graphics process, starting from creating the set up to reach the final details and finally exporting your project. 2. Prepare The Setup & Create Your First Slide: Hey, guys, in this lecture, we're going to start preparing our glass pans slideshow set up. So first thing, I'm going to agree a new composition. And this by pressing control or command and long keyboard. I'll start the revolution to HDTV 10 80. I'll call it Main and I'll make the duration 30 seconds for now. Then click. OK, then I'll create another composition. So hit control or command and again I'll call it Footage one, and I'll leave everything else as is on quick. Okay? And now I'll create another composition instead of pressing control or command. And you can go to composition in the menu bar, then select new composition. So call this one. Seen one pre composition. I will also leave everything as is in the settings here and click OK, and now I'll create another composition. I'll call text one. Leave everything as is and quick. Okay, and then I'll create another last one here. How called? Seen one. I'm click. OK, great. So now I have all my compositions and pre compositions here in my project panel ready to be used. Now I'll import my footage that I would like to have in scene one, So I'll double click on my project panel here. Go to the folder where I have all my footage saved and select one. I will select this one for now and now I'll open my footage. One composition by double clicking on it toe open it on my timeline here. Then I'll drag my image and drop it down into my footage. One composition. I'll select it and hit us on my keyboard to get this kill control, then scale it down. 37% looks good to me here for this porch, and now I'll open my scene one P composition by double clicking. Then I'll drag and drop my footage. One into my scene. One. Pre composition. I'll make it a three d layer and this by enabling the three D option here. If you don't have the sleigh out here on your timeline, you can either click this toggle switches mood bottom down here, or you can simply hit four on your keyboard. Okay, so far, so good. Now I'll go to layer in the menu bar and select new camera. I'll make it a one note camera, and I will set the preset to 24 millimeter to make it white. Then quick. Okay? And then I'll add a null object. So go to layer you No object. I will rename it to camera control. And this by selecting the no layer, it returned on keyboard type and camera control, then hit return again. I will enable the three D option here to this camera control layer. And then all apparent the camera to my no object here on this by dragging this thick with I couldn't hear to the null of declare and then release. 3. Animate Your 3D Camera: Hey, guys, Welcome back in this lecture, we are going to start animating our camera here using our no object layer or the camera control layer that we have created last lecture. So all select the layer and hit are on keyboard. To get the rotation control, click on the stopwatch. Besides the rotation, go to four seconds, then changed the rotation value. Two degrees. Looks good Now. All select all key frames here, Right, Clark, go to key frame assistant on Add Easy East. So let's play now and see how it looks. Great. Now this looks even much more better to me. Okay. So far for this scene, I'll stick to this camera animation. But as you can see here, you can always go wild with your animation. Play around with your camera and do whatever you want. 4. Create The Glass Pane / Magnify Effect: Hey, guys, In this lecture, we will start creating and adding the glass pain or the magnifying effect overseen one here . So what we are going to do here first thing I'm going to do is that I'm going to double click on scene one composition here to open it on my timeline. And then I'm going to drag and drop. Seen one pre composition into my scene, one composition here. Then I'll duplicate this scene. One pre composition layer on this by selecting the layer and hitting control or command the on keyboard. And now I have two copies, as you can see here, and what I want to do now is that I want to create a mask on this duplicated copy. So go to my tools, bore here and select the pen tool. I'll zoom out a bit. Make sure you select the copy it pre composition layer in your timeline, and then I'll do one click here. My composition. Another one here, one click here, another one here on the last one here. So here I've created the mosque and now also looked this layer on which I have done the math, select the layer and hit us on keyboard to get this kill control and skill it up a bit. Now I'll double quick on the mask here to selected, then move my mask to the left by dragging it, using the mouse while holding shift key. Now also looked both key frames and are easy east. We can even scale this one a bit to make it look more rich. More interesting. Great. Now let's different shade those layers by giving them a different color here on our timeline. So also, let them both and click on this colored square shape. I couldn't hear and select a different color. Okay, What I want to do now I want to duplicate this scene. One pre composition layer on this by selecting it and hitting control or command D on keyboard. Then I'll create a mask on this layer, so make sure you are selecting the Slayer. 5. Add Particles To Your Scene: Hey, guys will come back. This lecture we're going to reach are seen here by adding some nice holing particles. So let's see how we're going to do this first thing. Search for CC particle system to out Dragon. 6. Apply Some Color Correction To Enhance The Look: hang guys, welcome back and this lecturer, we are going to enhance our seen colors, look and feel to make it look much more better, much more rich. So what I want to do here first thing. I want to create an adjustment layer. It's all go to layer in the menu, bar you and select adjustment layer. So what it is on adjustment player. Basically, when you apply an effect toe an ordinary layer, the effect effects on lee that layer and no others. However, an effect can exist independently if you create an adjustment layer for it. An adjustment player is an invisible layer where any effects applied to it affect all layers. Blow it in the composition stacking order. An adjustment layer at the bottom of the stacking order has no visible effect on because adjustment layer effects apply toe old layers beneath them. They are useful for applying effects too many layers at once and in all other aspects on adjustment, layer behaves exactly like other layers. For example, you can use key frames with any adjustment layer property. You can rename the layer. You can also create masks on unjust McClair. So here I want to apply the color correction effect on my adjustment layer in order to enhance the look of my sin here. But first I renamed this layer to looks, so I'll select the layer hit return on keyboard type and looks, then hit Return again. Now I'll go to the effects and presets panel and search for an effect. So here I'll drag this effect on Drop it on my adjustment, Lee and in the properties here I'll click edit, and this will open up a settings window where you can see here on the left side some nice, ready made look, pre sense where every precept here is fully customizable. So, for instance, if I chose this one, all its properties would appear down here, and I can disable or re enable any off them by clicking on this button here, or I can change in the settings off each from here. Whenever you want to compare the difference between this one and the original one and see the changes, you can click on this button here to switch to the original on click again toe. Get back your edits. You can also add new tools to this preset from the tool chain here. So, as you can see here, you can alter the presets by adding or removing tools along you can. Also, if you want to build your own look from scratch by combining any off these tools if you want to, just double click on any tool here and it will be added right away to the looks here. So this is basically a quick overview about the magic bullets. Look, plug in where you can find the best color correction experience. No, back to a clean start toe are seen one here on what I will do here. All truth already made preset from here. So let's see what we have here. I'll take this one as I mentioned, you can disable any of thes tools from here. I'll leave everything as is, and I'll change in the vineyard radius here like this now all it it in the lift gamma gain properties. So this looks good to me so far. 7. Enrich Your Scene With Some Lights: Hey, guys, in this lecture we will at some nice life toe are seen here. First thing I'll do is that I will create a new solid layer here. It's all right. From here, you can remove any off thes items by simply clicking on this button here to remove it. Or you can change in this settings from here. You can also instead and start creating your own light source shape using these tools in the length objects, stop here, select whatever you want by clicking on it. You can also them save your own precept to use it later in any other projects. So this is a quick overview about the optical flares options window here. Now back to our project here. 8. Create & Animate Your Text: Hey, guys, welcome back in this lecture we're going to create an animate detects that we are going to place on our seen here in our glass pane slight show. But first thing, let me show you how far we have reached in this amazing three d glass pane slight show. So this waas our original footage that we have important and now we have this one after applying old denies effects that we have worked on together all along the previous lectures . Now I'm going to double click on the text one composition here toe, open it on my timeline, and then I'll click on the tax tool from the toolbar, click on my composition, then start typing my text here. I'll change the fund from my character panel. I'll just be fun size as well. And then I'll select my text layer on aligning to the middle of my composition using the Align panel. Now I'll add a solid lier, So all right, click here new solid. I'll make it white and quick. Okay? And then I'll select the layer than head T on keyboard to get the A pass ity control and dragged down. Then I'll select the rectangle tool from the toolbar. Make sure you are selecting the solid layer here, and then I'll draw a rectangle around my text here. I will turn on my proportional grid here and adjust this Rick Tangle bit in order to make the text in this center off my rectangle. Here and now, I return its opacity back 200%. Now I'll go to the effects and presets panel and search fours Choke. I was selected Drag and drop it on my followed layer here and in the properties here. I'll change the paints time to on transparent, and I'll increase the brush size a bit like this. I'll now turn off, the proportional grinned, and we are going toe. Any mate are rectangle to using. So one click here and another quick down here while holding shift key. I want the stroke size to be three pixels. I will turn off the proportional grid for now. Now I'll open my shape layer here. Go to the add button here and choose trim Pack. I will open up the trim path, drag my time indicator to frame zero. I'll send the N value here to 0%. Click on the stopwatch beside it, then pressed. Page down on keyboard 10 times, then said the N Value 200. Now click on the stopwatch. Besides start press page down 10 times on keyboard, then something stored. Value 200. Select all key frames at Easy East. Now I'll duplicate this shape layer twice, using control or commanding, I'll turn on the proportional grid again. Select shape layer to and move it to the left, using the left therapy like this and then select shape Layer three and moved to the right, using the right arrow key on my keyboard line. This great. I will give this to solid layers here a different color on my timeline, and now I'll turn off the proportional grid and let's click play and see what we have so far. Perfect. 9. Place Your Text in 3D Space: Hey, guys, welcome back and this lecturer, we're going to place our text that we have created an animated in the previous lecture into our three D seen one here. So first thing I'll do here is I'll go to sing one p composition and I'll select my text one composition in my project panel here and drag it down. Place it above footage one year. Then I'll make it creedy by enabling the three D option here. Now I'll go to four seconds on my timeline where my camera animation ends, select the text player and hit P on a keyboard to get the position control and start playing around with the X, Y and Z values till you place it in the position you prefer. Let this, for instance, and maybe are rotated a bit. So so let the text layer impressed are of keyboard to get the rotation control, and I'll set the why rotation to say negative five degrees. Now I'll drag my time indicator to the beginning of my timeline just to see how it will look at the beginning of my camera animation. I think it looks quite good here. Now let's quick play and see what we have so far looks very good to me. You can always adjust anything here according to your preference, whether the camera animation, the text position or anything that you would like to make look different. I'm just showing you the way from which you can build up on and start creating your own style. Okay, so far, so good. 10. Add As Many Video/Photo Slides As You Want Easily & Quickly: Hey, guys, in this lecturer, we're going to create a second scene which will be a videos lined. And also I will show you how you can create as many slides as you want very quickly and easily instead of creating all of these again from scratch. So first thing, our import my video file. So double click on the project panel, go to my footage folder and select my video file here. Click open to start importing. So here I have my video important. Now I'll create a copy off forage One composition so selected and hit Control or command E . So here I have footage to composition. I will double click it toe, open it on my timeline and then I'll select my photo year and had dally to remove it. And I will then select my video and dragged down here into my footage to composition selected and hit us a keyboard to get this case control and scale it down 50% Looks good to me here. Now I'll go to my project panel here and now create a copy off. Seen one pre composition so selected and had control or command V and I will rename this to seem to pre composition, so hit return on keyboard and ended the title and who treat earned again. Now I'll double click it toe, open it on my timeline, annul select footage one here and then go up, select footage to then dragged down while holding, hulking and place it over footage. One composition and then really so. As you can see here, this has replaced footage one composition with footage, too, and I will duplicate the text one composition as well, so selected on head control or commanding. Then go down, select text one and then drag text to down while holding hulking. Place it over the next one and then released to replace it. You can now, if you want to. You can double click on tax to composition toe. Open it on, apply any changes you want. This is totally up to you. For me. I'll leave it as is for now. No back to seem to pre composition. For example, if you want to change how the camera moves in this scene, you can simply add it in the values off those key frames. 11. Create Flash Light Transition: Hey, guys will come back in this lecture. We're going to create our flashlight transition between our scenes here. So first thing, I'm going to double cook on my main composition here on the project panel toe, open it on my timeline and now also looked both seen one and two drag them down into my main composition. Time nine and I will drag scene one below seem to hear. And here I know that my camera animation lasts for four seconds. So here I'll drag my time indicator to 2nd 4 on All select seem to layer and hit open Brecher on my keyboard to move my seem to in point to the time in the cater. So now I need to create a transition between these two scenes here. So first thing I'll Joe here is that I'll go to layer in the menu bar. Select new adjustment layer. I would rename this layer toe flashlight transition so select the layer had returned on keyboard type and flashlight transition, then hit returned again. Now I'll go to the effects in presets panel and search for magic bullet looks Dragon. Drop it on the flashlight transition layer. Here go to the options window. Click. Add it toe open the color correction window, then go to Tools Year and I'll and a spot exposure. So double click on it. Toe ad. It's here. And I want my flashlight here to come out from the left side, so I'll drag the center point to the left here an hour. Drag this point here. Okay, this looks good. How quick? Finished. Now I'll drag my time indicator say here, quick on the stopwatch beside. Look, then dragged the time indicator to four seconds. Click. Add it in the looks. Effect here. Quick on this pot exposure and drag. This stops value here till you see that you're seen Schooley covered with white like this. Then clip finished, then dragged the time indicator a bit forward. Then select the transition layer. Hit you to display all the key frames. Select this starting key frame. Copy it used in control or command. See? Then face it here where the time indicators placed using control or command feet. Now, if we clicked on the ramp review, you could see that or seen one will display than a flashlight. Transition would take place, revealing our second thing as it goes up now, select or key frames and not easy ease. And we can even cut our seen one layer year at this key frame during the transition by hitting old close bracket. So here we have created a nice flash transition between our scenes. 12. Finalize and Export Your Project: Hey, guys will come back. I'm so happy that you have reached the final stage of our three D glass pane flight. Oh, project. In this lecture, I'll show you how you can export your project in the best settings. I appreciate if you could go wild with your imagination, create your own project, exported, uploaded on YouTube, then paste the link on the discussion board so we could all see and give you a constructive feedback. I'm always here whenever you want to ask about anything on. Also, you do have the after effects source while as a reference and guide. Okay, now, before exporting our project here, let's organize our files here in the project panel. So here I'll select both the video and photo dragged them. Tow this holder. I could hear to place them into one folder. I'll call it Assets. Then I'll select both footage one and footage to composition. Place them in one folder on alcohol. It footage. Now I'll select both seen one and seem to pre compositions. Place them into one folder, alcohol it three compositions and then I'll select both seen one and two. Place them both into one folder. I'll call those scenes and finally drag text one and two. Place them into one folder and I will call the text. Great. So far, so good. Now this looks way more organized, so now we're ready to export our project. Here. I'll select the main composition year of my project panel, and I'll go to file export and select Add to render queue. This will open up the render panel down here, and I do have my main composition. So year I have something called plotless. Click on it and that will open up a window. Were you select your export settings. I'll choose the format to be H 0.264 and then I'll leave Everything as is if you have added any music truce light show. Don't forget to check this audio output check box here. I will un check it for now because I don't have any All do. I'm click OK, and then you do have year a field called out to. If you click on this, you'll open up a window where you can go to the folder. You want to save your exported project to you can give it a different name as well here and then cook safe. Great.
