1. Introduction: In this class, I will show you how to edit your videos with Adobe Premier Pro. Hi, I'm the image. I have been using Adobe Premier Pro for more than a year for editing videos and kills your glasses. What I'm going to teach in this class, requirements, layers of premier, different tools, effects, transitions, animations, and exporting. And one more thing that is a bonus, and you will get in the end of this class. So stay tuned. Premier Pro, the perfect choice for video editing. It is a software which is used by the professionals for editing the videos. I hope you liked this class. You will learn a new skill and reduce good-quality videos. So I will see you in the first lesson of this class. Let's start. 2. Requirements for Adobe Premiere Pro: So let's talk about what are the requirements that you need to have in your computer to use Adobe Premier Pro. You can go and take out Adobe's website there you will get a lot of information about the requirement that you need to have in your computer. I would also like to tell you some recommendations. You should at least have a GB RAM. Good resolution MTTR is also recommended because Adobe has a lot of panels in it. And if you will use a small size pointer, it will be harder to use. Adobe Premier Pro and near user experience will also not be good. So I recommender good say's mountain, I personally use a 24 inch margin. It is idle for editing and you should have a graphic card. It will give you better previews. A good processor is also recommended. It will help you in rendering your video, your project which you are working on. So let's talk about what are the configurations of my BC. I have a G, We ran a 24-inch monitor, as I told you, my graphic artists do take 1650 and I also have SSD 256 dv. 3. Starting Premiere + Project Window: So after you have installed Adobe Premier Pro, once you open it, you will see the screen. These are the recent files we tie was working on for you. They will renew or it's in file as it is your first time using it a wind Premier Pro. So either you can open a project which you are, you are already working on from here. Or you can make a new project from here, click on New Project, and this box will open. You can give it a name. I will give epi, the Adobe Premier Pro class fun. Yeah, and their location. You can save it anywhere you want to save. I will save in this E folder and E drive. How do we this you can see the location. You can either browse and choose the location where you want to save. They are fine. Then here comes a general tab. There are three different than what I will be only going through this general tab. And General tab, you will see this render. And the hair comes to option if you have installed your DPU in your computer and it is compatible with Adobe Premier Pro, then you will be able to see two options. Will be for your GPU and other will be your default software only. And as I told you in previous class that GPUs required for Adobe Premier Pro, it helps you in rendering and exporting your video. So I will be choosing the renderer, my GPU, as you can see, GPU acceleration, CUDA, and video. Here it is display format and the split format, it is time code. You can see different formats are given a timecard is basically the length of the video will be displayed in 100 seconds, then frames, this is the format it will redisplay. Then you should leave rest of the boxes as it is. Now. Click on, Okay. Now here it will lower and do some behind the scenes stuff. So you can see the Lord of panels opened up here in Adobe Premier Pro, as I told you, good screen sizes required because of this. So I will be not going through all the panels in one lesson one by one, we will cover all the panels. First of all, I would like to tell you about this project panel. Here you will import all the media files in Adobe Premier Pro. With that, you can make a video or whatever you want to do. Either you can double-click on it and select the files you want to import. Or you can go here it is, written media browser. You will click on it and it will open up your PCs, right? Then you can select, go to the folder you want to go here. For example, I go to fixed videos. Let me show you my YouTube intro. It is my YouTube intro. You can drag-and-drop the video and places it in their time. This is, this window is known as time and I will cover in the next lessons, in the upcoming lessons. You can see like this. So this is a video, okay? You can also select and drag in this project window here and place it here so you can either, first of all, we liked all the media files in when we're done then dragon robe, that whatever you want to do, a reverie, you want to place them. You can do it either way. So this for the project window. 4. More About Project Window + Source Window: So in this video we will be talking more about the project window, less the source window. So let's get started. So I have opened my Adobe Premier Pro, and as in previous lesson, after you do that in reject window, we can improve. We have to import all the media. We have to using videos to make a video so you can import one by one as I showed you. Then have is I didn't show in the previous lesson, you can import into this folder like this drag-and-drop here. And it will import all the OLA hold and the files Dennett hair like this. You can see these are the files in this numerous important videos. You can see like this. So this is another way. And then another way I wanted to show you, like you can see the wartime yet these are some settings given there. This is the ListView. If you open neck this it will be appearing like a list. And this is the icon view. It will be lighter. You can increase the size of it. You can like this. And if you will like this, then you can see you can change the size of the videos and the file there. And if you hover over the video from left to right, you can see what is going inside the videos like this. You can see I'm moving the mouse from left to right. So you can see the video clip it moving. So you can get to know what is going on in this video clip. And you can simply drag and drop in your timeline to see that I'm length and then name of the timeline will be changed. It says C, This is the video it was I was showing you. And another thing is you can t hair, is it like Item Market for you? This icon. This is used for locking. You have rejected it is because sometimes you don't want to make any changes or anyone else you don't want to make the changes, who can click on it? And if you click on Yes, it become more lean. Read more read-only mode so you can make any changes in it. And you want we do an edit on it to effectively con yes. See, I'm not able to drag here. And that thing is working. See. So you can see down at the bottom here, This is the lock sign. Now. Now if you click it again, now you contain the clips in there. Now I can drag and drop WGSN, make a timeline, whatever I want to do. So this is the wanting for now, let's ignore it. So this is the source window above the project window. And here you will, if you liked the video clip, suppose I will click this four by four intro and double-click, and it will open in the source window. You can just drag and drop here as I showed you, where you can open in the source video and view the content is inside this video here also. And you can drag and drop from here. And if you want to choose only the video should come, then you can select this icon as it is this video clip, I can see it's written drag video only. If you will click on it like this, then then you will get only the video, not the sound, but if you want only the sound, then you can click on this drag or do you only then? And you can simply drag and read your cursor and you will get only the sound. So it is very helpful where you want the video to be something else and the audio should be something else. And if you want only some specific parts here, you can use these brackets. These are the shortcuts also given for it. Then suppose, if like this, I'm not speaking anything, and thus setting, I can run the sound. I'm not speaking right now. So I don't want an eclipse before that. So I can thus marking, this is the button for marking. It means that we're this lecture, we'll start. So if I click Mark in, so if I drag and drop it, the selected portion will only be the part after 20.24 seconds. It will not be like this. I'm not speaking anything, I'm just setting this part will not be selected. Only this highlighted part will be selected. You can see here, I'm just going to speak now. You can see here. And same as if you want to finish like this. You can close this lecture by this closing bracket. This is known as Mach out. And if you select this, then only the highlighted part will be slightly idiot and you can just drag and drop here. It is very, very inefficient venue. Make some protects that you can also do the same like that if you only want that part only, if you only work the video of that part only. Okay. So this was about the source window and the project window. 5. What is new Sequence + Timeline Window: So in this lesson we will talk about new sequence and the timeline window. So sequences, leg group of the videos. And if you have severe you will collect them and make a video like it. And all that stuff will be displayed in the timeline window. So as I told you in the previous lessons, to make a new sequence our timeline, we can just drag and drop or video or audio, whatever you are using. So this will create a new sequence, and by default, new sequence will be named as the video you have dragged and dropped in the timeline window. So you can see an emission true as I dropped then image intro video. You can also change the name of the sequence here by double-clicking or you can press F2. I will give it the name APP class three. Okay, so I have renamed it and here you can also see AP class 3s alter, renamed there. So this is the timeline window. You can also create a nice footprint by going here. This is the new item icon. At the top of this box. Here is the sequence button. Here you will get a lot of sequence presets. These are the different camera models. I don't use any of them, but if you go to settings, you can make a new sequence from a like a refuge and took our stem. Then you can choose a frame per second, which you want to make your video spores 9.79 frames per seconds. Then you continue the frame size and okay Then pixel ratios, pixels ratio that all the videos and photos are displayed in the group of pixels which we cannot see. But if you zoom into the videos and we just sometimes you feel that there are many blogs or pictures or videos seem blurry. That is because of pixels. And you can change any of them. Suppose, if I take it 10 or this is at D. So I have the sequence settings and it has created the new sequence. Do you get here Sequence Number 1. So this is the sequence number one. If I try to import drag-and-drop here, it will give me a warning because ADHD in the sequence settings to 1280 into seven ATP, which is not the same as selecting and dropping air. Because if you see here, the frame rate is also different from sequence one to sequence finance 29 and my video is 30. And if the video and falls off, my video and four is also the friend and the sequence in 4 is also different, so they are not the same. If, again, I can do the same and if I imported, it will give you the warning that clip does not match the sequence settings. Please always keep this checked because if you ever want to change the sequence settings, it will display this book. And you can go and you can go into the settings or you wish to people's existing settings, it's the orange, but for now I will change the sequence settings. So it has gene the sequence settings of this according to your video. So let me drag it here. So suppose if you want to zoom here. So to do that, you can either do by this dragging left turn right, but better ways to press the Alt key and scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and scroll your mouse down to zoom out. And if you want to increase the height of these, you can either go and you can place your mouse near this eye icon button. Then it will increase the mouse of that particular track, these other tracks, or you can say the layers off your video. And similarly in the audio tracks, if you come near this mic icon and do the same, moving the mouse will append down. It will increase the size of your track. It has a lot when you have to do some detailing. And suppose I bring one more video air. And so this is my outro. So this is my outro. It is very zoom because the sequence of this video is matching this. So to make it perfect, let me scale it down. Don't worry what I have done then right now, I will be covering this part also in coming videos that this tracks first of all, so this is the outro. So if you zoom it, okay. Yeah. So if you zoom in, you can see that at the end of the video clips there are some triangles on the top corner at here also. And in the starting of this clip also. And if you check hair at the starting of this clip also, and in the end of my outro all so what does this mean? It means that the video here is your full length prints the starting the triangle means that it is starting from 0 seconds, means the video is starting from its original length. It is not framed. Or suppose if I trim it, you can just drag and drop. You can just drag left and right to dream how much you want. So I have trimmed it. So you can see at the top of this video there is no triangle icon. It means that video is not starting from its original length. Suppose, if I do Control zed, the control that it is very common to undo the changes. Now I have the undo the changes. You can see the triangle has come again. It means that video starting from its original length and same as at the end. You can see that there is a triangle. If I trim it like this, the triangle has gone. It means that originally video is not ended yet because there is no triangle. And if you do the undo the changes, their triangle has come again. It means that video, the original video is ended here. Same with AWS, it will be same. And one more thing I would like to tell you that hair, once you want to join this, it will like snap itself, like it, like magnets, it will attract each other and it will snap grid cell. This is working because of this magnitude sign. It is activated. This is called the slab tool. You make sure that it is always activated. But there are some cases that I deactivate because I have to do some slight ended. They don't happen because of the snap tool. But most of the time you should keep your snap to activate it. It will help you in snapping your video. Because if you disable the snap tool, it will not snap it. And if you live here, it is like this. But if you sometimes live via Zoom does art. But suppose you have, you have them like this. You think it is joined with the previous video, but once you move, it is a black screen. Okay? So make sure that this magnet snap to live on. And once you come near the video enough, it will snap grid cells and the video will work nicely. So that for new sequence and the timeline. In Spain. 6. Tools Available in Premiere: So in this video, I will be teaching you about DevOps tools available in the Premier Pro. So let's start. So in Premier Pro there are seven to eight tools available to us. It is located in the middle of this project panel and the timeline window, so that I will tell you about all of them one-by-one. So let's start with this selection tool. Selection tool. As its name suggests, it is used to select the clips in the timeline. So this weekend, framer videos and increase the size of the videos. If you want to delete something, you can select the clip and delete it. You're going to do Control Z to undo the delete. So this was the Selection tool. So another tool is they track selection tool. It is located right behind the selection tool. So you can select by clicking on this. And our track selection tool is selected. So this is the track select tool. So you can see when I hover over it, you can see it's written tracks leg forward. It's gone. Yeah, you can t know Track Select Forward Tool is written and is alterity and afraid is the shortcut key of activating that tracks like forward to. There are two tracks like one is off track select forward, and there is Track Select backward. Okay? So right now, arrows pointing to the right side. So it means it is track select forward tool. What it does is once you select the clip, it will select all the clips, add up that. So you can see I have selected only the first clip, but it is selecting the second clip also. I can also bring more glyphs so that it will be more industrial to you and me. Yeah. So I've added two more clips. So once again, I haven't activate the track select forward tool. If I select only the first flip, it will select all the, all the clips add of this. If I select the second clip, it will not lag behind this. So you can see it is selecting only the clips which are added up this lecture clip. The first flip is not selected if I add other clips in different tracks. So you can see what happens once I add these two in the second flag. So again, I enable that back leg forward to a faster clip in the first strike, it will also select the all the cliffs above it and below it. Okay. So there is no sound right now if there was a sound lower than, so, it would have also selected that molten salt tracks like to select all the clip I had R before that live, which we asked lecturing at that time. So it will not only select the same drag, it will select all the tracks given in the video. What if, if you want to select only single track, not all tracks in your video. So you can branch Shift key. Now you can see when I press the Shift key, only one arrow will be there. So if I dislike this clip and again I enable that tracks like forward to and press the Shift key. It will only select the first track, not other tracks. Now if I remove my hand from the Shift key, it will select all the tracks you can see. So if you want to select all the clips before I selected one, there is a tune named tracks like backward. It is forward to it right now. Now if you've all at the address more narrow yet, it will give a box here and you can select the backward tool from here. Now, backward to list selected. So if you select from here, so I've selected the second flip. Now, all that leaves behind, this is our selected. And similarly, all the tracks are also selected, corresponding and behind that, if you want only a single track, again, press Shift and select only one fact. Understood. So in order to list the ripple edit tool, you can see this third one. Arrows are pointing both the side of a line. So once you have selected ripple edit means once your prima video and I can show you instead of thinking. So right now I'm doing this with the selection tool. Once you trim your video, there is a blank space here. And for that you need to drag all the clips, add of it, snap it to the first video which your dream. Okay, so with the ripple edit tool, you don't have to do this in two steps. Instead, you just have to select the endpoint from where you have to trim the video and drag it. And it will automatically snap all love video clips add of this. So if you want to increase the length, you can also do the same. You can. Drag it and release your mouse. It will increase their video length of this clip and other clips will also be shifted. Okay, so once again, I can show you with this selection tool. Once you trim my video, there is a blank space. You have to drag all luck lips and snap it to the end. So with the ripple edit tool, this third one to one to select the two and Prima video, it will automatically snap all leverages ahead of it. So once you've oil this ripple edit tool, you can see these three tools. State very pileated tool. And at there one is rolling L2. Oh, do use rolling edit tool what it does firstly, I can show you with this lecture and Gould where it happens. So suppose if you want to trim the some part of this video from the first clip, you can also see the thumbnail view ad program window of both. The eclipse does like G11 ahead of that. So once you trim the video, so you have trimmed WTO and there is a blank space. And so this time you don't want to select all these and you have this Nepal there. So this tends to pause if you want to increase the length of the video ahead of the previous one which you have trimmed Sibos. This was R is Netherland of this second clip. And you want to increase the length of the second clip and snap it to the first video. So again, I can show you what I did. So these were the original ones. So I can zoom in and I want to trim that last video and increase the length of the second video from the starting. Okay? So this you have altered done in two steps. So point, if you want to do in 17, you have this tag, the rolling edit tool. This does the same two steps in one time. So you can trim that we do. And it will also increase the length of the first video. So this file, original one. So you can see it is moving average free and you can see nowadays starting. So, suppose I want to trim here, trim get layer. Now, first video is only available in that, so I can trim that. So once it passes the first three, that clip is changing and the redolent from the videos coming out from the second clip also you can see again, so this was the first clip and flip. And now I want to trim the first video and increase the plant of the video of the second flip. So you can see go determinants are moving. And I want the second clip to be starting at 0. So this was the second clip starting at 0. You can see in that I'm Nell view. Now, first video streamed and second videos also starting from the starting point from the 0. Okay, so let's move on to the third part of this representative. It is the ridge tries to syringe stretch tool is used for increasing and lowering the speed of the video clip. So this is, there is no speed up the video. You can see. Now from the ending of this clip, I decrease the length of the radio activity. It will not decrease the land tab dev redo. It will increase the speed of the video. So it now you can see that we do is faster than before. You can see. So if I again sad and do undo, you can see this time it is slower than before. And I can move these clips forward. And now I want to decrease the speed. So decreasing speed leads to increasing the length of the video. So I was like from the end and increase the rent. It will increase the rent and decrease the speed. Now you can see it is slower than before. It is a very simple tool. It was not that difficult values. Then ripple edit and rolling edit tool you can see very easily, you can increase and decrease the speed of the video. It is very helpful in editing the videos which have this slow motion effect and on that. Or by decreasing the length, you can increase the speed. So this is much faster. You can do more fast. See, it is very fast. So there is one more way to add the speed of the video. You select that clip, right-click. And here you can find speed and duration. One tick, a box will appear. Here you can type in the speed where diversity one to 100 means devil. So you can write whatever speed you want. And this line means their duration and speed are in equal proportion if this period is moving by doing that, integration will be reduced by that proportional. So if I increase the speed more 500, duration is less. Or decrease the speed to 50 percent duration is more you can see. So that'd be 100 percent again. So if you take this box, it will become very worst of the video. The video will be reversed. So once I click Okay, so you can see now we're coming back to the beach. I it was moved from B's to the trees area. Now this time it is moved from trees ADL to the beach area. So you can also change the speed of the three worst video as you did in the normal video. So this, if you check on this ripple edit shifting Trailing lips. So this means if you suppose increase the video clip speed of the video clip or I read end clicked. Okay? So it decreases the length of the video Alto and increase the speed. So it is also adapting all the videos are add up that clip to it. Suppose this original one, or in Ireland. Suppose if I, yeah, I can show you, if I remove this, take from this and increase the speed and click Okay, see Landau that we do decrease. Speed is also increasing, but there is a blank area between these cliffs and this clip. So to prevent this and doing selecting all this clip and attaching to it to prevent this, we are taking that ripple edit box of this fund. We are checking this ripple edit tool and you make sure you do the same because it will be annoying that you have to select all luckily epsem attach to their previous clip. So make sure you take very pale edit box. So if you want to reverse the video, you can take this three words. And this is not showing me right now mundane or the epitome because there is no audio clip in my timeline. So now I've added the AudioClip balls or you can listen. We can all turn, increase the speed of the audio and decrease the speed. We can also reverse a song from starting or ending whatever you want. So same like this, right-click speed and duration, you can reverse the ripple edit, maintain audio-based. Now this ten Monday not if it is there because the radar RDP or pinna timeline. So suppose if I increase the speed to 200% and click Okay. So what it does, it will increase the speed and decrease the length as the video clips, but it will also change the speed of this audio clip. You can listen once it will be a higher pitch tone than before. So if you want this, you can leave it like this. But if you don't want this high-pitched sound, you can again go to that box and Jaegwon, this mundane audio pitch. Now that tone and the pitch of the audio will be same, but the speed will be increased. So this is rendering the required files. So now this time the audio bit, the same video is the RUP same, but the speed is faster than before. So let's make it. So this is the origin for you can also do the reverse of this reverse speed. And the song will be starting from the last left. And then this time the song, as you were saying from that. So this was about this period duration and their age strata to another tool is this razor tool. Shortcut keys. See, this is very useful because sometimes you want to add the audio clips, video clips, or whatever you are using in your Premier Pro. So, so if suppose if I want to touch it here, okay, got this. And now you can see the clip is split into two parts. So you can also cut the audio clips also. And it will be now you can drag and drop this piece up, flip anywhere you want, are, you want to delete this part? You can do the same. So suppose if I add more clips, you can only cut one at a time with this cartoon. Suppose if you have a load up lips and you want to clip all the clips at the same time. You don't want to clip one by one. You don't want to cut all of them one by one. You can hold the Shift key on your keyboard and the eclipse. So this will cut all the clips where you want to get. So again, I can press Shift key. Now you can see here line is appearing on the card key. So you can select Shift key and it will cut all the clips in the lineup, that private tool. So this was a mouse. Suppose someone is not doing something with the mouse and while watching video, you want to cut clip and you are, your hands are on keyboard, so you can use the shortcut key for that. Took our deck live for that. Press Control plus K, c. Now these clips are cut and same if you want to cut all the clips at the same time, not one-by-one. You can suppose your reader is moving and you can press Control Shift K. Now this time, all the clips are being cartel, not only these two. All right, so here the slip tool in the slide, you can call this, I can then this box will appear in through there. So firstly, for liability to you about this slide tool. So I have activity the slide 2 and Slide tool is used to see I'm selecting this clip at venues like this snip, it is used to move the clip laughter write in whichever direction you want. You can see a distributing the left video and increasing their laptop, their video right side to the middle one. So it is trimming and increasing the length of their two videos, which are attached to the selected clip according to the direction in which I'm moving. Basically Slight tool is used to move, increase, and decrease the length of the other videos attached to the selected one depending on the direction you are moving. So right now I'm moving in lab site. It will trim the video of the lab sign-up, increase the size of the video on the right side. And if I move the slider to the right side, it will decrease the length of the video, which is the right side, and increase the WTO, which is in the left side. So let's move on to the slip tool. So I will tell you about the slip tunnel. So when we select slip tool and select this middle one, so this time they duration of the video clip will remain same, but the frame inside the clip fill j. You can see in the program window also. See now for thumbnail that appearing the top, top-left thumbnails of the lab clip and top right top Nell is off the right clip. And two big terminate that offer them middle cave with using this lip to learn, you can see the frame that moving. And also in the timeline the duration of the clip remains same, but the frame inside deck clip is moving. So I can teach you by this live demo you can see, so only a small part of Mumbai you can see in this because I'm holding the other two parts with my hands. So this is same happening by the slip tool. And when I move my hands a little towards the, towards my right side, the land of the mobile you are able to see is same, but the part of them while you can tease changing. So this is same happening in this slip to the length of the video is remaining the same, but the frames inside the reduced changing. So this all about just flip to let this slide too. 7. Motion effects Controls : In this video, I'm going to teach you about them with any backend draws. With this, I mean, you can rotate, scale down, scale up, and change the positioning of the video are your photos. So let's get started. Now you can see my Adobe Premier Pro screen. I've imported one video and there is a photo. So then now we haven't edited any forth TO graph yet, but now I will show you we can edit the photos too. So I want to make this photo smaller and place it in the top right and rotated once weekend. See when you select the photos, the video clip, you can see here, there is the Effects panel. You can see it's written motion here. Then you can see opacity and the time remapping. But for now we will focus on their motion panel. First of all, let's close this and just focus on this motion panel. You can see motions, position scale, rotation where they have to review. You can see here our values given. You can see when you hover over them, you can see two arrows that are appearing very small. One, and when you click on the value and it left or right, you can see on the program window the positioning of the videos. By this, they are changing x and y values of the video. So when you move it to the right, the videos moving down, when you move it to the left, moving up. Same, similarly, these values for x, when you move it left, it will go to the left. When you were right, it will go to the right. And you can see at the end of all the values there are reset buttons. If you click this button, it will reset the parameter position, scalar, whatever you want. So now I have reset it. The scale. The scale is of a 100. See it is very zoomed. It was a larger resolution image. So for that I have genes. It is not. There is no height and width. I've scaled it down into the 32 value. You can also click on the particular value and Jane, jane did value. So now I have changed it to 50. You can again Tibor to 30 to what I've already said to it. As I totally I wanted to be applied torque right here. So I can scale it down. You can it down. You can see I can move it up or down. So I can change it here. If you select this photo or video, you can move it like this also by your mouse without changing the values. You can make it smaller regard from mouse only I'm dragging it to the top right and making it smaller. And see, I have changed their position and it is very small right now. And you can see, I have changed their parameters. So if you want to detect all the parameters, you can just click on that top most reset button just in the line of the motion. And it will reset all the values of this position, scale, rotation, anchor point, and to Flickr all the things. You can also see when you click this arrow, this slide are welcome. You can change the value of the scale by changing this slider to, I don't usually use this. I just changed the value from this arrows. You can see there it also scale with option, but it is not active. So if you want to use this antique, this uniform scale, now you can change the width and the height of the video individually. But I don't recommend this because this will make your image look very ugly. And it will also change. It will also look like the images compressed. Very much stress. I don't recommend this. And taking this Uniform Scale, make sure you check it and you will be able to change the scaling uniformly. Now let's come to the rotation. Rotation means, as you know, you can create this image. How much degree we want to move over to the 60 degree. You can see in addition showing minus one because I have to take clockwise. If I rotate in the clockwise, now it wouldn't show. Plus one into more day remains one rotation and again 14040 degrees. This was about degradation. You can alter your research dissertation by clicking this. And if I click this reset button of the motion, it will reset all the parameters. Anchor point is there is a pointer when you hover over this, it is not very clearly visible. Here's is the anchor point is when you can see for Rosetta peering, anchor point is the point from where positioning and the scaling or the rotation will take place. If this anchor point to here and bring this video up little bit. And if I rotate this, it will rotate from that particular point, not from the center, but earlier the anchor point falls in the center. So if I rotate this, the video or the photograph is rotating from its center, not from there corner of the video. So if I change the anchor point again and scaling, the video is scaling up and down from that anchor point, not from the center right now. This was about the anchor point. You can either drag or drop down and get Brian from your mouth and you want or you can also change the values from the Effect Control Panel. This was about the machine Effect Controls. I will see you in the next video. 8. Transitions in Premiere: In this video, I will teach you about their transitions. So let's start. When you zoom in to the timeline and you can take, this clip is ending here and this clip is starting from it. There is a red line here. And when you click here, the right-click here, and you can see a dialog box will appear and you can see apply default transitions. And when nucleic on it, default transitions will be applied with the default Landsat to it. And when you play this, you can see it is dissolving into the another clip. This transition is known as cross dissolve. And you can see how this is looking very nice. So there is a shortcut for it also, when you select the clip and press Control D, transition will be applied here. You're going to see it is dissolving into black because there is no clip ahead of this. And when you select this and drag this clip and press Control D, the default transition will be applied between these two clips. You can see how this transitioning from one to another. And you can also remove these clips by selecting and pressing the Delete key. This time I have deleted the whole clip. You can select the transition and delete whatever if you want to decrease or increase the length of the transition, you can select this transition. And you can see here in the effect control window, there is a banner for transitions. And from here you can increase the length of the transition either from one side or both sides, whatever you want. We can also change the duration by typing the name of the transition, length of the transition. The alignment option, you can select where you want to start the transition. So here it is. Centra etiquette means it is 5050 on the side, 50% on the first flip, 50% on the second clip and started are good. You can see starting from this gut and the gut it is ending at this good. You can also check this box to see the actual resources here. It is very small there. Maybe you can do. This book will show the actual resources of the video here. You can preview here, but to do it very small. So this was about the default transition, Premier as many transition inbuilt. So you can check here in the project window. Here. You can see it effect are above the program window. You can see many options that are given. You can go ahead and check quite effect. But I use legal and Check Point effects here. You can type here, foundation, you want to third. So first of all, I can check it in the video transitions here as the video transition toward given in the Premiere Pro by default. So you can see in this data manager understand like different renditions idea there are default transition was this cross dissolve. You can use many of the transitional zone like this is dip to white and it will slowly move into deep into white and then drag this and do another video so I can play it for you. So you can see it is going, it is transitioning into white color, then moving into another. You can see it. Here. You can see first I can written as x later date effects. This means this is already rendered transition. It means you don't have to render it again. Suppose you can just see this. There is no accelerated run effects icon here. And when I apply this on our radio, you can see there is a red line here. I can show you with another transition. This is not a good one. You can check care crowds zoom transition. You can drag and drop the transitions from Effects panel and drop it here. So this was a transition when I played. It is not very smooth because you can also see the red line or this earlier it was yellow. Why this red line is here? Because the transition is not accelerated, as I told you, there is no x letter date effects like and so forth. This you have to press Enter and it will automatically render the tradition for you. And when the rendering is complete, the transition will move very smoothly. You can see you now it is rendering and it will plane sometime. I can directly play from here. So it was like this. I can also change the transition land from here also by double-clicking. What if I want to do like this? You can also do it like this. So again, red line is here. You need to render it again for moving it smoothly. I can show you from here now. So this was a faster one because the length of the transition was used like this. There are many transition there. I prefer using mostly accelerated ones because they donate rendering. But sometimes I need to use adult also return not accelerated because I need that effect. So suppose this is the perfect, it is already isolated it, so it is wiping from, I'm left to right. Suppose if you, if you want to change the direction, you can click on it. And you can now see here the effects control. So you can see you can also create a border color and border width. So I can increase the width of the border. You can see there is a blackboard or a year I can increase more. So you can see there is a very thick border here, but I don't want this, so I can reduce it to 0. If you want to reverse, it means it is, I think from left to right now you want from right to left. Like this, you can change the direction of the video. Like this. You have many transition in Premier Pro. So you can check them and live with them and their alignment starting at gardening and Carter, going to effect controls, whatever the options I'd given, you can check them and use them in your video according to your need. By default in Premier Pro, the default transition is dissolved. You can see here, if you want to change their default transition, Nextdoor transition of your choice, right-click on it and snake set default transition. This will change their default run this now Premier Pro. Now you can use the shortcut Control and use their transition. Anybody wanted to premiere this positive about the transitions? So I will see you in the next lesson. 9. Add Animations to your clips: In this video, I will be teaching you about the animations and Premier Pro. So let us start. This will not be a character animation lesson. It will be a basic animation available in the Premier Pro, like animating your icons, photograph SVGs are even you're reducing Premier Pro can be animated. So let's see how it can be done. So you can see on my screen there are two clips here. One is this pointing finger icon and wonder background is of beach. This is a video and this one is an icon. So I will show you how you can animate a video or rotator process will be saying, I'm looming for your convenience. I can image, you can see when news like this. I can, you can see in this effect control panel, there is, again, the motion, opacity and time remapping this panel. They're there. As you learned in the previous lesson about the Motion Effect Controls. There are same controls fear will be using, but this time we will be animating those effects rather than making the detector. And previously, we were just changing the petition and scaling it. And it was staying the same every time we are setting it is not animating. This time I will show you how you can animate this. You can see there is a small stopwatch before all the parameter in there. So once you click it, you can see the color red dot here. This is known as key-frame. Key-frame. That's basically the starting and the ending point of the animation. Once you have activated and trade zone, you can say this toggle animation. You can see when I hover over it, toggle and limitations, you make sure it is on. And you can see the keyframe here. Two means this is the starting point of the animation and the value of the key frame will be, these values will be off keyframe. You can also drag and drop these keyframes here and there. You can move this. So I want it from the starting of the eclipse. So just starting, I want, I want this here. So this will be the starting. This will be the starting of this animation timeline. I want to move my play head and medical gain, a keyframe for ending of my animation. So you can see when this is the button to add a key frame, add or remove keyframe and will not change any value in both the key frames. It will be same all the time. But this time on the second keyframe, I will change the position of this and set it, reset this parameter. So now if we move from the starting and play this clip, you can see this is moving from left to right, left to center. Boom, this was the first animation you are work-related with Edward Premier Pro. So again, you can see, you can again move this a little bit. So you want to make this come to the center a bit slowly. You can also obtain the transition speed and duration by selecting this last, our first keyframe. If you make both the key trim closer to it, their transition will be faster. If they are far from each other, then the transition will be slower. Like this. This time the transition is lower than before. If I make closer to each other, this time the transition is faster. So this was very easy. I also want to scale it. Scale it up from down, so I can make an animation here. Make sure you are starting your animation trump starting if you want, from scaling from down. Suppose your play head is there. And if you don't know you're busy area and you are making key frame here. Scale down and making this keyframe here for Caleb. This time, the transition will be like this, not the what you wanted. You can also select multiple keyframes at once by lighting like this and move them together. So you can align with this like this. You can also use this button to go to the specific key frames. Suppose I want to go to the next keyframe. And suppose you think you have raised the key print, but it is not actually, you can use this. You can use this button there to go through the next frame. So it is written here and go to the previous keyframe. You can see now we are on this key frame like this. You can also add rotation animation with this. So this time I don't want to rotate from the starting keyframe. I want to rotate the point turn Richards destination. I don't want to start at the first keyframe. This time I will use these arrows to read that the last key frame and toggle the animation. Make sure you toggle the animation on. Before making an animation. I have done this button. You can see it is selected. Now, I can make my animation. This time also, you don't forget to make two key frames because animation is made above at least two keyframes, it is not made up of only one. It must have one starting at one and link point. If you only have one key frame, then how it will animate from one to another. Like this. If you just change the value of this first keyframe, then the admission will start from this only, and it will stay the same. So make sure you do have at least two keyframes. You're going to alter the initial value. You don't need to be the starting value. So this is the first query wanted to move forward a little bit and I want to rotate. You can also type the degree we want, but I don't usually type. You can just move these values. You can see in the last tutorial lesson I have told you, once you read over 36 D, it will mark one into 360. And if you go over twice, then it will mark two into 360. What their meaning of one into static image or static video. Tour 12, which means nothing because it is always static. But in the animation it will be, it will lose something. I can show you. Once it more 360. You can see one into something degree means it will rotate, all rotation 360 degree and more degree it is written. It will also cover that. So if I type 360, it will cover one rotation. This was one rotation. Two rotations to into something. So this is 181 into NAD means one tradition and another 180 degrees. So it will cover one tradition, then another one degree. It will not go at the full name. It is very fast. Let me change the position of the second keyframe so it is slower. This much. I think it's better. One rotation and another half rotation. Like this. If you increase degrees and increase motivations. Right now I've changed the value 232993299 means three traditions, three polar mutations and 99 degree mode. So I can show you again this scaling 123 and another 99 degrees. This was the rotation scale and position. You can drag and drop all the keyframe there. So make sure you toggle the animation on one to travel the admission of this box will appear. And if you click OK, it will delete all Lucky frames you ever made. Now, there is no animation area you can see. You can see the ND Flickr filter. We don't use this much. And to Flickr is used basic Caliban, the shutter speed and frequency of light is not the same. We can also change the opacity of this. This time. You can also toggle them in the project window from here, doorbell and emission on to the last frame. The first frame I want the best here to be 0 and add the last frame, I will end up SD to be a 100%. Now it will go pre-reading effect of the pointing finger. It was slowly fading into it. I can move the keyframes a little LED so that it would look a little better. You see best extending from 0 to 100%. This one is about the animations in Adobe Premier Pro. So I will see you in the next lesson. 10. How to use Pen tool: In this video, I'm going to teach you about the Pen tool. The Pen tool you can do various tasks such as making drawings, shapes, and many more, so that you contain these tools panel. This one is a pen tool. When you click on it and hold it further, you can see a box will appear here. No, to more tools. First one is pen tool. Second rectangle. Enter this ellipse tool, made pen tool. You can make different shapes like this. You can see if you're doing the dual rectangle. You can make rectangle. If you want to make a square. Start making a rectangle and press Shift key, no, it will become a squared. There sides will be changing in the same proportion. Know Ellipse Tool. Ellipse tool. You can also change the color and add some more effects. So then select the shapes you want to change when you go to the Effect Controls. And this is this lecture chip. When nucleic on this, you can see for stroke shadow, these are very simple terms. I don't think I need to explain them. You can change the color like this. You're going to also change a linear gradient or whatever you want. You can fill stroke. Stroke basically means the border around the shape. You can see. There is a wide stroke in this square. Shadow, also transparency angle of the shadow. And you're going to see you here. This part of the shadow. Areas looking nice. You can also change the size of it using these properties given in the transform. Positioning, scaling in rotation, whatever you want to change opacity also. So you can play with these values and these are very hard to pull. A few select the ellipse, you can also change similarly to the square. So this was the basic use case of the pen tool. You can also animate these shapes using the properties of this when you select this shape. And you can see here on appearance, let me open it up. You didn't. And when you double it, this time they're animation will not be linear, like it is gradually changing to another state. It will directly change to another state. So firstly, this is the first key frame. Let me zoom into it. I want the next keyframe here. This time I want to hit this. It is directly tending to the final color. You can also change the transform scaling through animation to these all also you can animate the shapes like this. You can also change the opacity of luck lips you have added earlier. So one more trick I wanted to show you if you zoom into the timeline and the specific track and the shortcut for it is when you press Alt and move your cursor up and down, you can see it is zooming. Or you can directly use this scroll bar to use this. But I mostly use this shortcut to zoom into the timeline. And suppose you want to zoom into the specific drugs. Make the drag a bit larger. Take your cursor on this specific black hair and press Alt and use your mouse wheel. Again. You can see it is zoomed in. You can see there is a line here. If you don't see, click on this wrench tool and you can see here Show Video Keyframes. If you disable it, there will be no linear. And if you enable it, there will be a line here. This line is used for ending the opacity of a video directly from here, rather than going to effect controls and to ending the value, you can just change the line. You can see the opacity of all the shapes is less. Now, if you take it to the highest level, you can see now the opacity is a 100% same with the video track. You can see a line here too. And if you decrease the person does. You can see when I move the line up and down, there is a person they're showing on the tooltip here. You can see this Sam detects point for something. So you can change the opacity according to you whatever you want. And the highest value is 100%. This is a cool trick. 14, opacity directly on the timeline rather than going to effect controls. Suppose you want to animate the opacity also from ear. Don't need to go to the Effect Control then animate the opacity from there. You can also unmute the best tea from here. Select depth into. When you press on this line. There will be a key frame here of blue color. And this is the starting keyframe for my animation. And this will be the ending. From here. You can drag up and down their key frame and move here and there to animate the opacity. You can see when I play this opacities decreasing slowly. You can also use this by the selection tool. You can also move these lines up and down using Selection tool. You can also make points by selecting tool, by pressing Control, and click on this line to make a new keyframe. Making keyframes in timeline it a lot and it makes our editing workflow faster. So add menu using the pendula selection tool and make key frames directly in your timeline for opacity. Even for changing the volume of the audio clips, you can use the pen tool or the selection tool. I will show you right now. I didn't know AudioClip. Let me lower the volume. You can hear this song right now. You heard that song. If you want to decrease the volume from the timeline itself, you can. Firstly, let me make this a bit. To see. Do I have zoomed in to timeline? You can see here again, line is shown here. It is again, due to this. Let me check if I don't see what this is about the video, about the audio. This is the audio keyframes. If I disable this, this line will disappear. And if I enable this again or to give him, this line will be visible. Now, this is used for adjusting the volume of the audio clips. You can also make the keyframes using the selection tool by pressing Control or go to the pen tool and make key frames like this. See here the sound is moving high. So I want to make this a bit. I wanted to make this sound a bit low for their time or their key frame. And when you're dragging it down, you can see there it should n minus 6.5 dB. Db is the unit of sound decibels. You can listen now. You heard that the volume is moving down then moving up again. This is very helpful. Who are supposed editing podcasts? You are, I think something where there is a voiceover or someone is speaking on the camera. So if you want to put a light background music, put it with addressing the volume of the audio clips. And suppose quarter time period there is no one's speaking and you want to increase the volume, add a keyframe and increase the volume again and again someone is speaking, then decrease the volume by using this keyframe. I use a lot in my tutorial because adding keyframes, going to the Effect Controls again and again, it will take a lot of time. So I use this technique a lot by using Selection tool lot pen to make the frenzy easily and adjust the volume of the sound flip depending on where the sound low and high. So this part about the Pen tool and some tricks that you should know about the selection tool. 11. How to make masks in Premiere Pro: So in this video, I will be teaching you about the masking in Adobe Premier Pro. So let's start. So to use masking in Adobe Premiere Pro, you need to at least have two layers in your timeline. You can use masking in any of the layer like videos or photographs. So this is my first clip and let me drag over it. So place your layers like this. You can place it anywhere. So this is on the top of this curvy roads clip. This is very zoomed because it is a high-resolution video, so let me scale it down so it can fit entirely. This is our distending from curvy road. So this, right now I have not made any mask. So suppose we want to make mask on this layer, like this clip and go to the Effect Controls panel. And then in the opacity, if it is closed, you can open it like this. And here you can see three icons here like ellipse mask, four-point polygon mask, and there's three drove is here. These are the tools which we are going to use to create masks. So if I select this mask, so you can see when we click on the ellipse mask tool, it will automatically create a circle type shape and it will create a mask around it. So you can drag it wherever you want to create mask. You can also change the size of the mask like this, ranking like this. So you can also create square shapes, rectangle shape like this. By creating these mass, you can also mask like this. Suppose that disliked and you can see they are moist. I don't want that rectangle right now. So you can use this mask like this. So let me zoom into it. So you can see, you can also chain edges is not very sharp when seeing the effect controls panel, this option is ten value, this is mask feather. This is the property. What will change the softness of the edges? So if you increase, the softness will increase. If you decrease, you can see how sharp the edges are right now. So if I increase the mask feather, you can see, so you can see how the image, images are overlapped with each other. Sometimes there are effects like this. So let me fit the program window so you can also move this mask again in this practice. But right now I was not moving them as having the motion back. So select the mask and you can see the borders. So you can see now you can change it like this. So you can also change the opacity of a specific mask. Like I've reduced the opacity. Let me lower down the feather. So we can also create more masks and their property of individuals. So you can also change the feather of this like this. So there is a property mask expansion, which will expand your selection area like this. The mosque is expanding. Mask path I will talk about in a minute. So let me delete this mask number two. I don't need this right now. So if I click the inverted, when I click, everything else will become mass except the selected area. So you can see right now. So I have clicked the inverted. Now everything except the selected area becomes a mask. So now you can move this also. Let me show you how to animate this bus. You can also see their stopwatches. You can also animate individual properties. So now I'm going to show how to move a mask. So let me drag it back here. So here I will switch on this mask path property and you can see the reframe is married. So let me move it, select my mask and move it to somewhere else. Like here. Now, another keyframe is married. Now if I drag that declared war and move it here, and another keyframe is made in the time effects control. So now if I play the video, the mask is going to move. You can also join this period of them moving by dragging these key frames a little bit closer. Knife I Blake, really faster than previous one. So you can play around with the different properties of the mask. Mask part ten, father is basically the softness of edges. You can see these are very sharp edges now this is very soft. Opacities changing expansion you can also do, you can also create a transition by this. Like suppose, let me move the keyframes here. I don't want this animation now. So this is the, this is the first keyframe when the mask appears. So now I will create expansion animation for toggle this on. And this is the first keyframe. I want it to be 0, like this. So let me move the play head and select the mask. Now, I will create another keyframe. Now, I will expand it more. So let's see, I think it's gonna be very fast transition. So now you can see our transition is created very easily and nothing more complicated. You can also change the opacity. You can also animate the opacity like 0 portion now and a 100% here. How? This was looking very nice. You can create a transition easily. This was about the masks in Adobe Premiere Pro. You can create different mask easily and play with their properties given with them around. So I will see you in the next lesson. 12. How to use type tool: In this video, I'm going to teach you about Type tool in Premier Pro. So let's start. So type tool has various useful applications in the videos because you can write many things. You can give effects like it. You might have noticed in the previous lessons that have type the text of the shortcuts that I've told you so far. So that is all because of the type tool in the Premier Pro. So I will tell you how to use the type tool. So you can see in this toolbar at the last area type tool, you can either press T to activate it or you can manually go and tap on this. Or you can select. You can also use the shortcut for it, Control T. And you can see a new text layer is murder. And you can see new text layer is written on the program window. It's very light because it is off white color. Or if I will remove, you can select the type tool if you hold it. There are two types of to give inherit type. Simply is an odd multiple that will help you dive in horizontal direction or this vertical type tool. Let me first show you how to use the horizontal type tool. So now I've selected, now you can click anywhere on the program window, but make sure you don't drag and make a huge box because later it will be a huge problem for you. So right now I'm deleting it and just click anywhere and this box will appear. Now you can type anything. Let me type beat. So as it is, the beats are randomly, I'm just typing beach. Right now you can see clearly because it is a white color and it is not contrast color because it is wide and background is also light color. So if you want to change the position of the text, you can select the selection tool and move it by dragging here. So let me keep it here because you can see it a bit. So if you want to change the properties of it, select the text layer and in the effect controls panel, there is a text. You can see the property of texts will be given in under, inside this drop-down. So when you click this, you can see various properties are given here. You can also create masks, use Mosque of this text I will show you later. So first of all, let me change the color of this so you can give it a black color or you can also select the Eyedropper. So I will just take it as simple black. And let me change the font of this text. So there are many fonts given in this Premiere Pro by default, you can also download the fonts from Google and adding this Premier Pro. So let me first select a simple fonts for. It also has many different values. Regular metallic board. So let it be regular. So you can change the font size by using this property. You can either drag this. You can drag this one, or if you want to type it manually, you can also type manually. Let's suppose it was entered. So let me change the font size is much better right now. So you can also see in the alignment from here. By default, you can see on the texts also there is a circle here. This is known as anchor point. Anchor point is basically a point from which the decks will grow or change the scaling or rotation or anything else will change. And you can also move this anchor point manually or so right now, I'm changing the alignment. So now you can see the anchor point is in the center. So you can also move this, drag this. So you can play around with these properties. I will show you a little bit. So this tracking, so when you change the value of this, you can see the distance between the letters are changing. So this is known as tracking. This is Kerning. It is not available right now because I have no time. So let me write that mean, drag over it and bring it in the center. So now you can see this coning properties activated. Now. It is activated now when I selected the text. So this is used to change the alignment of this text. You can see I'm moving here and there. And this third property is leading. This is basically changing the height or distance between the first line, the second line. You can see when I'm changing the value, the distance or the height between the two texts, two lines is changing. So if you want to make them more alert, so you can just click this at our legs. If you want all the letters to be capital. So you can enable this all caps button. So you can play with these different properties here. And you can change the effects however you want. So now this is the appearance panel. You can change the color that I showed you. So the second one is stroke. Stroke is. Basically the border of the texts you can see white stroke is applied. You can also change the color of this trope. So let's put it is that it's looking very bad right now. They're chained to the ClO. So you can see border is added to the text or simply an outline. You can also give background to attacks. Now, when you click on this, more properties of background will appear. First one is the opacity or transparency. You can see the background is getting darker and lighter. You can do whatever you want. Secondly, spread property, how much red you on the background. So like this, this much is finite. If you want to change the radius of the border. You can also see at the edges board risk coping. So you can also play with this. I don't want this border right now. You can also add shadow. Now, more properties of the shadow appeared. So first one is the transparency. So you can see light border is let me, this is the transparency opacity of the border. And this is the angle of the border. Shadow, sorry. Who can see the angle is changing 9700 and this is the distance between the shadow and the text. You can also change the distance so you can see it is getting bar and it is getting closer. I think this is okay right now, this is a spread of the shadow. You can also change the color of the background and shadow, by the way, it is black. I don't want this little bit grayish. Okay, right now what I want the spread to 0. So this is the blur feather basically of the shadow. How soft you want or how hard the shadow should be. Live with this also. So right now I'm going to create a mask. So you can also play with the mask like this, genes or different properties. And I've shown you in the masking lesson that Hamas can recreate it and it can be animated and you can play around with different properties given there. You can also change the mask path and all that. I'm not going to explain more about masking this glass. So by scrolling your mouse video until you can change the font size, font of this. So here the transform properties. You can change the position and scale are given. But here also the position and scale are given. This is because the text layer hazard on transform properties. So you can use any of them. If you want to change the position, you can use this scale of this text. Rotation, opacity and all that. You can animate those. So you can add the default transitions to this all too. So you can also animate the text. If you want to change the appearance form size. You can also animate this by toggling on the animation. It will create a keyframe here. And if you move forward. And Jane Doe bond, suppose this. And if you also change the stroke, and you can see that it will animate and change the font. You can also move it and give it to. You can also change the duration of vertex by simply dragging one of its end point, by simply dragging the whole clip if you want to start it later with. So you can also change the position. So let me start this well-known liberation. And one more shortcut I would like to tell you, you can move one keyframe add by clicking on one arrow key at a time. And if you want to move ten keyframes at once, you can press Shift plus Arrow key to move ten keyframes at once. So, so right now I want 30 keyframes ahead. I want to change the position. Let me also add an emission to scale. Now you can see they're just ready fast. So let me slow down by increasing the distance between two keyframes. Can see it is animating. You can also create lower. And transmission by using this text tool. If you are using the Premier Pro version 2010 or above that. So you can go in the graphics panel here. If it's not available earlier, you can simply go to the window and workspaces. And here you can see the graphics and click on it. Now you can see different panel will open. So you can do ignore these presets right now. So let's select the Type Two. Two right now, I'm going to teach you how to make the rolling text. You can simply related to the credits at the end of the movie. Now how that credits are made, I'm going to show you that. So firstly, I'm going to get some random names. List generator, let's say 20 names. So I have copied, bring them to know text2. And yet, who can see your previous effect is also applied right now as we're using that. So I didn't want this effect. Let me change the color to the byte. One stroke, so shadow, so gender, font, family as you want. The same for the one. Much better. I want to change the font size. Yeah. So let me align this name to send to using this. So if you want to align this to the center of the screen, you can see below the line and transform, you can change the horizontal center, vertical center, right here. So to use that fact, right now, this text is selected. Now to de-select it, just tap here and you can see here now a surgeon responsive design time. And here intro and outro duration is given. Below them. Check on this role. And you can see these options will appear. Now firstly, let's play this. You can see credits are made here. So you can see how rolling text is made. It was very easy and looking cool. So you can see the speed of this text is very fast. So simply if you want to change the speed to make it faster or slow it down. If you want to slow it down, you can simply change the length. You can increase the length of this text. Now you can play this. It is moving very slow at decent speed. If you want to make it fast, you can just simply reduce Zealand. Notice very faster. So select this, I want to select this text. So if I want to gender, height or distance between each line, I will simply change the numbers. Yeah. You can simply changes. Now you can see there is a distance between the names. So suppose you can also change these properties. Start off screen, if you uncheck this, it will start like this, but it doesn't look good. So adequate and keep check on this startup screen and off screen. So let's see what happened if you slip on and uncheck the end off screen. So this is our to learn. But if you check this, it will end like this, which is much better. You can also play with these values. So this is how you make ruling texts. So let's start with crawling text, scrolling text is basically the text you might have seen in the news channels moving from left to right or right to left. So I'm going to show you how to make that crawling texts in Adobe Premiere Pro. So let's start. So first of all, with the help of the shapes rectangle, select this rectangle and this version. Rectangle tool is given separately otherwise in some versions, when you hold the pen tool, some options will appear like this and you can select the rectangle tool. And let me make it bigger for you. And make a rectangle in the program window like this. So let me drag it and make it bigger like other shapes, you can also change the color of these. So I would like to give it this color. And offer crawling texts over which our text will be moving. So to type the text, you don't have to use this type tool. Don't use this type tool and start typing. So don't use this type tool to make the crawling text effect. This effect won't work on this simple type tool. So for that, you have to go to Legacy Title, which is available in all the versions, whether you are before 2017 or after that. It is available in all the Adobe Premiere versions. So let me remove this. So if you are using older version of Premiere Pro, CS6 or another, or below 2017 or 2018, you can click this new item icon and Legacy Title option will appear here. Or you can right-click on this project window and you can search the new item, legacy titled, but in newer versions, it is not available there. So we can go to this file button, select New, and click on this legacy title. So this box will appear for new title. So you don't have to change any of these settings. But suppose if you are using Nadeau time is of any other frames, like 60 FPS or 30 FPS. You can chain these, but I will keep as it is. You can also change the name of the title, like I'm going to say, girl and text. Okay. So this is the legacy title panel. You can make it bigger as much as you want. Alright? So I really go into detail of every part of this legacy title in next lesson. So in this lesson I will be focusing more on the crawling text-only. So now here you will type the text, but I will recommend you not to type their text manually here. Either type the whole texts in any word processor like Microsoft Word, or any other word processor you want to use. Because after some time, like I will give it a demo. After some time, the tax rate overflow and you won't be able to get you won't be able to know what you were typing or is there any mistake. So it will be a problem for you so far that I suggest you to use a word processor like Microsoft Word or Notepad. For practice. Right now I'm going to get some texts from Google. Lorem Ipsum, dummy text. Either get it from overlord, type it manually. So right now I'm going to paste it here. Align it properly. You can change the properties of the text. Change the font size. I have changed the properties as I want. So you can align these. This was the basic part. So to make the crawling fact, you have to do all this. And you can see in this top corner of this panel, there are two icon. One is a new title based on current title, and another is this. There's no tooltip here. We'll click on these dots. I can this panel will open, this box will open. And now you can select rolling title. You can also create rolling texts from here. And we want to crawl the text so I'm going to make it call left. So you should also check these boxes I told you in the previous texts effect rolling texts that you should always check these boxes. So select it. Okay. Let's see what happens. So this is the this is the background of the text and that title is available in the project panel. Here. You can see the crowding texts as I've seen the name. Drag it over here above this graphic. Now if you play from the starting pose or it's really very fast. And the text was very large. So I think we don't need this. I conclude this and you can simply change the duration, the length of the graphic, and the title to adjust the speed. So it's much better than previous one, but still it's very fast. Now you can see moving from right to left, it is crawling. It's looking really nice. So again, if you want to make some updates in this text, just double-click on the title and this panel will reopen and you can make some edits, whatever you want. So this was about the Type Tool and it's basic effects like rolling and crawling text. So in the next lesson, I will be going into more depth of their legacy title. So stay tuned. 13. Legacy title in depth: So in this video, I'm going to teach you about the legacy title. So let's start. So if you are using the older version of Premiere Pro, you will not see this type tool. It is available in the latest versions only if you are using CS6 version of Premier Pro or 2015 or older than that. So you may right-click on it and check and then new item, you will find the legacy title. Or you can simply click on this New Item icon and you will find the legacy title here. But in the newer versions, the legacy title is not available here. So for that, you need to go to the file and you will find the legacy title here. Click on this box will appear as you have seen the previous lesson. You may leave it to default values or if you want to change the frame rate according to your timeline, you can change it. But right now I don't have any clip, so I will keep it as default. And you can change the name also mean title. Click on Okay. So this notice is basically telling that in newer versions, upcoming versions, the legacy title will be removed and all the properties and the features of legacy title will be available in the essential graphics panel. So essential graphics panel is basically, as I've shown you there, rolling texts, you can relate it to that that text was available in the essential graphics. Similarly, all other properties of legacy title will be there in future, but right now it is not available. So right now we will be learning about the legacy titles. Like it's your title panel tin. Now it is same in every version of Premier Pro, whether it's old or new. So you can see this panel will open, you can increase the size of it as pretty wish. So these are the basic tools which your mind I've seen in every Tools, Panel, selection, tool type tool and draw shapes. So this is like styles. You can make the presets here and save it here. So this is the reason that I have made earlier. I haven't named it. So you can change the property. So right now I'm going to type here. Right now I don't have any flipping the timeline. So that fired transparent or no background at all here. So you can see here some lines on the border. So this is basically to make your grant to zoom it as the centers horizontally and vertically center. So this is the center. You can also change the alignment using these tools given here to perfectly align horizontally and vertically. So that some more to be that this is the panel I have shown you in the previous lesson. To make the texts for oligo rolling. You can change the font of this. Previews are given here. I think the font is looking good. You can change the birthright nodes don't give it any other property of regular or be more lives given. You can make the font underlying. Let me make this either. So yeah, when you're making the size of the font, we got from dragging it, it will change like this. It is not looking good so far that you need to press Shift and the bond will change, proportionally. Drag it, and you didn't centered. You can also change the font size from here, this pattern, like this. So right now you can see the pond is like log data and it is moving to the right side. This is before the alignment. Here is the left. I meant if you change it to center or right, it will change accordingly right now the alignment to center, center point is locked. The text is moving right and left both sides. So I think this font sizes fine. So here are more properties like offence d, x position, y position and all that with rotation on the form, style or that can expect, I recommend keeping it at least. Otherwise it will be like Chef Z are the best. Lighting is basically the distance between two lines. Right? Life. Let me remove the underline. So right now these are two lines. So if you want to change the distance between these two lines, you can reading it will simply the distance by decreasing or increasing the value of lading. So Kerning is basically the gap between two alphabets. So for that, you need to bring your cursor between two alphabet. Now the binding properties enabled. Now you can change the distance between two alphabets. And cracking is basically changing the distance between orbits together. So right now you can see all the alphabets are moving apart from each other together, basically shifted. You can see there is a line below the text. And both the lines. That by using this baseline shift, slant is basically you are changing the angle of the texts. You can see like this, small caps is, let me show you for that and typing letters, legacy, title. And when you enable the small gaps, all the small letters will become capital, but their size remains more or less than the first lecture you have, your mean that already caps. You can change the size of the small gaps. By this, you're going to alter, distort. Like this. Family. Lisbeth curly, as I've shown you. But here you have many types of linear gradient. So you're going to take this clear out the properties here. So stop color is basically used to change the color of the gradient. And also when you're attending the opacity, the opacity of the selective stop color built-in support you right now, I have selected the red one. Now the fescue, that religion, if I choose the yellow and the yellow will change. If you want to change the angle of the gradient, you can change it from here. Let's keep it here. Now here the scene, Shane is basically a shine. You can see on the text, you can change the color of the scene, opacity, size of the angle. That's looking pretty like this. We can also give a texture to it. Snapped and the Virgin did the whole texts where the image will be kind of mask, endure texts. So you can see the image deselected it on the background of the text. So I don't want this. Stokes are basically the border. There are two types of stroke, given their inner stroke. You can see there is a border outline on the text. It can read that. You can change the size. You can change the opacity of the stroke. So now let's move on to the outer stroke. Changes to that because it gave their lives looks. It's looking like it's really change the size. I would be looking very nice. Shadow. You can play around with different properties. You can give it a background. Let's give it a little bit grayish. Looking nice. So yeah, these were the properties of this panel. So you can also use these presets like that we set and use type two. Now, you can see the effects of the patient are applied here. So if I select this title again, and here I click on New Style and you will my title. So now you can see you can also drag it down, bring it on top wherever you want to keep it. Now, this preset is Save now when I run any of their predict, suppose you are creating your YouTube channel. Anything you are creating, like you have the same lower thirds titles impacts everything you want to keep it same in every video. I save it here in the P set. Whenever you and make, you can simply go and select that and change it to that. Now you can see the same text style is applied here. Looking nice, but it saves a lot of time for us. When you close the panel, you can find it in the project panel, drag it and bring it to the timeline. This legacy type, you can use it. So this point about the legacy title in Premier Pro. So I will see you in the next video. 14. How to export a video: In this video, I will teach you how to export a video in Premier Pro. So after you have edited your video and you have just finalize the video, so now it's time to render the video so you can share it with anyone else and to let start. So I have opened a class and this Premier Pro timeline. So I will show you how to export this. So if you want to export any small part of your video, so you can basically you, your mouse, drag it and you can select the portion of the video. So like here. Now, I want to select this much part of the video and the rest of the video I don't want to render. So you can select this and press Slash or the question mark key on your keyboard. It will automatically mark the areas in and out and you can export the video. And if you don't select any portion, you can directly export the antiderivative without selecting anything. You can go to the end of the video and press O, which will mark the ending point off your video. So it will automatically apply the in point of your video and you can export the entire video. But I don't usually use this thing because in Premier Pro you can directly export the entire video without selecting it. So to export this, you just have to go to file. And the file, you can see the export here and here. And this is another box. You can see the media. There is also shortcut key for exporting its control with AMA usually use the shortcut. Make sure you learn the shortcut which you are going to use frequently. So click on the exports, so new box will appear. Interface might be not similar for you because this is the premier Pro 2022 versions. You might be using some older versions, separate dialog box will appear, but the options here will be similar to that. You can see here the file name by which the video is going to be saved. So I can say dusting export. Let it be the filename. You can join the location. So this is opened and I can select the folder. So this is the preset. So I will come to the preset a bit later. So you have many formats given here. So like money, you might have heard EVA and compressed, but I don't recommend using eBay and compressed because the file size will be much larger and it is only recommended for broadcasting to either use AVI or something different. Like MPEG-4 is also available here, but the best hair is at 0.2648 is the best available here, you might think the Blu-Ray version is better, but the file size will be again, very much hi. So I use at 0.264, it is recommended format. So select this and in the presets option. So you have many more precise, you can click on them more presets. So you can see. You can also find the YouTube preset if you are YouTube or you want to upload YouTube videos. So here you can find a YouTube presets also. But I don't use the YouTube preset. I mostly use the Adaptive high bitrate. It's better because it will adapt according and Jane, the bit-rate according to your video and enhance the video quality Matters is basically the source of your videos in the timeline. So hybrid trade one is recommended since like this. And here in the video you can scroll down there, drop-down dialog box with appeared in the previous versions. So you can select this and either you can select this matters. But I don't usually do that. On the frame size is selected if you want to change, but I don't have any problem with this. You can click on them more to here. You must take this render at maximum depth. It will enhance your video quality to a great extent. And also Jack on this, use maximum render quality, can see better quality scaling, but increases in coding time. It will just increase a little bit of time in your encoding, but the quality of your video will be very nice. Jack on this as well. So here come the encoding settings. In some version these options are below this encoding settings, so make sure you check them. But opsin will be same. It might be up and down. So this is encoding settings. So here in the performance you can see there are two options. For most of you, there might be the software encoding only. This means either you don't have GPU or the D view you have installed in your computer is not compatible with Adobe Premier Pro. So hardware encoding is available because I have a GPU which is compatible with this Premier Pro will help in processing rendering of your video and use your GPU power and might reduce some time to process all as well. So select this hardware encoding so you don't have to play with any of them. So now comes the bitrate settings. By default, I think VBR is already selected. So make sure you don't turn any of this. Cbr is basically constant bitrate. So constant bit rate is basically on your video, the compression with the content on every video clip off your timeline. But you don't need that because every time the changes of the frame and your video is different. So you need variables. Trade, which is this VBR one pass. So it is recommended for you and betrayed also. You can join the betray and then bitrate is recommended for bitrate is basically that it will affect your video quality the more you increase the battery or quality will be, but it will not bring a significant change in your video. The recommended one is ten. So you can see here the estimated file size is 301. So if you increase betrayed, the estimated size, alternative trees, and if you decrease, the quantity will decrease. Written the file size will also decrease. But the recommended one is ten. So make sure you don't reduce the bit-rate. So I don't think you need to, for basic editing. You don't need to play with any of the others like effects, audio. Keep it as they are. And you can export the video. So you can just click on the Export. And this box will appear now and it will show the estimated time and some time it will export the video. So now exporting is done. You can go to your location. So after you have installed Adobe Premier Pro runs, you open it, you will see this screen. These are the recent files. So I have exported this video and you can see the quality is good. So this was about the exporting in Premier Pro. I hope you liked my video on how to export your videos on Premier Pro. 15. How to reduce file size: Editing done exporting, then, now it's time to share your video with everyone else. But wait, if your Internet connection is very slow and your file size is way higher than you thought. So it is a huge problem for you to share the video with everyone else. So in this video, I will show you how to reduce the file size of your videos without losing the quality. So let's start. So for this, I'm going to use a software called Hendrik. It is completely free and you can turn that software on the Google, go to Google. You can find the hands. This is the icon of fit. One to search for it, click on this link and this page will appear. So you can just go and download this. This is a very light, very top here, I think ten to 15 dB, or ten to 15 and B only to click on it. So I've already downloaded, I will not do it again. This is the interface. So you can either drop your file Doors folder by clicking this button. From here you can take. And I'm going to drop a video file here. This is a video lesson of this course when I was teaching about the tools in Premier Pro. This video is all you can take care of. This video is off 947 MV. And now I'm going to compress it without losing the quality. There are many Peters given here as well, but I don't recommend you using this. I made a custom preset and I will show you how to make a custom preset for you as well. You don't have to change the settings again and again after you compress the videos. But if your Internet connection is quite good, I recommend you hearing the original file as it is without compressing it. So let's make it full screen. So now you can see here the first panel summary. Make sure that video format is and people are only now to protect this Babel optimize. And you don't have to make any other changes to the dimensions. Don't touch it because we want the same dimensions as we had quoted. I don't want to apply the filters. Make sure the video codec is as one to six for only like this one, backward is also given here, but I recommend you using to sixth quarter only change the frame rate according to your video. Right now, the video frame rate was 30, so I've said it to 30, only. Keep it as constant frame rate. You don't need to set any of this. So now here, really important too. You can move this bar in there to change the quality. So right now as you can see in there, in this box there, that for the standard definition it into 20 values are suggested and poor high-definition grandchildren details. So it is as a video. So grandchildren did 322. I've already said differently to you can again changes but it is not recommended. I thought into it. So we don't need to retain anything here. Let's keep the audio as it is, but make sure it is. No surprise. Because right now I made all that industry one. So you can see, so you can see here Add button. Once you click, you can save a preset here. So I can say, I don't really dream man. He said. You can select the category view on just added. And you can see in the costume razors, Adobe Premier t-shirt is saved here. So every time you come in, you want to compress a video, you just have to click on the preset, Custom Preset, and select the preset you want to apply on the video. And you don't have to change the settings every time you come here, it will be time-saving. So now you can just click on the Start button here. It will take a little bit more time than encoding you saw in the premier row because it is compressing. So you can see here it's going from 0%. We're sending some time. So it will take some Brian. Once it is done, I will show you a time remaining is right now eight minutes. That's it predicts eight minutes or not. So I will come back and show you the file size 1 third, so one thing I forgot to mention that you can change the location of your file as well. You can route, and I've seen the location. Now, the processing is done, so it is saved there, 2s plus one. So let us open it here. So that is open. So in this video, I will be teaching you about available in the Premier Pro. So let's stop. Right? So here you can see the file. Let me open the properties. It is reduced to 148 MB. So you can think how much it has compressed. So I left it was above nine hundred, nine hundred to 148 MB. It is a huge difference, so I think it will definitely help you. Thanks for watching. 16. Conclusion: So finally the classes, and I hope you enjoyed the class and now you will be able to edit your videos Premier Pro. So I have covered almost everything a big man needs to know, from Effects, tools to exporting your video. And I recommend you to learn the keyboard shortcuts as well as it will make your workflow faster. It took a lot of effort to make this class, and I'm glad to share my learnings with you all. If you liked this class, please share it with others, move on and learn how to edit videos. I also have a predict for you in the project section, you have to make an introductory video of yourself, add music to it, effect from vision and all the things that I've taught you in this class. You can add anything you want in it and make a video out of it and share it with me. If you want the files which are used during editing in the class, they can be found in the description or the Edmonds. And that I enjoyed making this class and I hope you enjoyed learning a new thing. If you are interested in learning how to solve it with you, my other Skillshare classes can be found in their description as violent men profile. See you next time.
