Instalation: Okay, So our training, we will start from downloading After Effects and install it on our PC so we can download the software from adobe.com and on the website, we need to search for After Effects. In this course, I will use the After Effects, say 2019. And from the link you can download it. When you entered the website, you have the Free Trial button on the top-right corner, and we can click on it. After that will be redirect to the new website with two possibility. On the left side you can see that you can instantly start to download only After Effect. And on the right side, you have option to download Creative Cloud all apps. The left side, you have also information world. These include it, step-by-step tutorials, 100, Cloud Store on profile website and premium fonts. On the right side, you have information that in Creative Clouds you also get After Effects. Premiere, Photoshop, audition, Premier Pro and Character Animation and more. What's more? On the bottom side, you have the price that you can pay by month. The $21 is only for After Effects. And 52 point 1990s for Hall Creative Clouds. Here we start with one After Effects. You need to insert here your email address, and from the right site you need to select what's to be your plan for. Pay. You have monthly monthly plan where you can pay each month. I know our plan where you by every three or 4 mol. And the last one is if you want to pay the whole price for the whole year. So it depends what you are interesting. You can choose some of this because it depends from your company or from your needs. Okay, and the resource information that the first week is for free. So After that, we need to click to continue to download the software. There is also one more option. You can download the offline installer from, in from adobe.com and you can download it to if you're installer. So here we need to choose the language and delocalization of our instalation. I recommend to use the default delocalization. And after that, you need to click to continue on this blue button on the bottom. And in the next lesson, we will start with working with After Effects 3. Introducton: So welcome one more time in After Effects. And this time I would like to make you some presentation about this software. So After Effects is the software to create this mostly special effects for your movie. From 2019. This software belong to huge package which is called Adobe Creative Cloud. At the beginning After Effects was developed by the compounding of Science and Art. And we have some versioning history. And the first one was developed by company of Science and Art. And diversion tool was developed by aldose. And from the version free, it's instantly developing by Adobe. And what is more before 2012, the full name was After Effects CS and from to Todd. From 2012, the new name is After Effects CC, which is mean a Creative Cloud. So Adobe Creative Cloud offer four buckets if we talk about the software. So there is the photograph in fact that include Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC. For those people who don't know, Lightroom is poor version of Photoshop and it's of course much cheaper and it's do not require so many knowledge. There is also single application. So it's mean that we can, by each of applications separately. Unfortunately, we don't have possibility to, by its lifetime, we need to pay in a few different possibility, which I showed you in the video before. There is also Creative Cloud, which mean all in one, we by all the package at once. There is also the package which is called or UPS plus Adobe Stock. And in this packet, to understand that we get Creative Cloud and access to the service which offer Adobe, which is called Adobe Stock. In the Adobe Stock service, we can find lots of useful image presets, footage that we can buy it and we can use normally in our work. Adobe Creative Cloud offer a few different categories. The first one is still image. So mostly we work here with the image and the race. Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom, Classic, Illustrator, InDesign, and dimension. Next we have the package for video, and there is Premiere Pro After Effects. And Premiere Rush. There is also package for web, which is called Acrobat Pro and DreamWeaver and Spark In respected for animation. So the call for this software is Animator, Character and Animator fuse. There is also some software to convert a video to other formats, or for example, to organize work. So we have the bridge which can help us in organize our files. Media Encoder, which is used to convert media from different format to other. And there is also pro route that we can insert in our videos. So some metadata that we allow us in the future to better work with our footage. There is also one software which is very well-known and very good to create or to edit our audio. And the software is called audition. About this audition, it's work mostly like Premiere Pro for footage. We don't create, hear the music from the beginning because this is not software to develop the music, but it's rather software to assembly the music And there is one more section which is for copywriters and the software is called Inc copy. Okay, so very often there is one question. What are the different between After Effects and Premier Pro? So After Effects is the software to create Effects and Premier Pro is software to assembly everything. So for example, if you would like to add text for our footage, of course we can do it in both in After Effects and Premier Pro, but it's easier and it gives you more possibility to create very nice looking text in After Effects. The same is with assembly the clips. So for example, we can make some assembly in After Effects and also in Premier Pro. But in Premier Pro will do it much better, much faster, and there is much more user-friendly interface about the competitors for After Effects. So the biggest competitor on the market for the After Effects is new, created by their founder. New can't After Effects. They are both software which are treated as a standard in industry and some company use After Effects, after use, Nuke After Effects is mostly use for agency that specializes in some advertisement. The new keys rather use. For movie industry. There is also final cut. Davinci Resolve, Sony Vegas Pro, apple motion or blender? Yes, I know that blender is mostly used for modelling for D, but it has also possibility to create some Effects for 2D video. So what are the base difference between After Effects and the nuc? So for After Effects, after Effects work as a layer based. So it's mean that you create the layers like in Photoshop. And the layer that is on the top. It will be visible and all the layers that are under our became invisible. And this is mostly how After Effects work. So you can assembly everything by adding, masking or other options that you will see in the course. There is also one huge advantage for After Effects. There is a lot of plug-ins, plug-ins that we can divide into two different category. One, plugins are used to make your work faster. And other category are the plug-ins that are used to create additional effects. That will be very hard to do it with vow, without it, with the standards tools in After Effects. So plugins you can also buy in internet or you can find some of them as a free, because some plugins are free to use, some you need to buy. And of course, some of the plug-ins are very, very expensive. The New York is not based system, so it means that you create different nodes and after that, you connect those nodes together, refer Footage. So it means that for example, if you create some color correction, then you need, you can just connect this note with different footage. And you can then control, for example, color effects only in one node. And this will have impact for all the footage that are connected with After Effects. To come to control, for example, color, you need to copy the layer to the different footage. For example, After duct is very hard to control all of them we for once buttons or when f1 settings. What is more important? The new book is very spit in his work, you can create really amazing footage with a lot of different Effects. And this work is very fluent and very, very fast. So this is why it's mostly used in movie industry. Okay, So I also prepared some screen on the left sides, you can see the layers from After Effects. So as you can see, there is a lot of layers and layers that are on top are visible. Everything that is under are invisible. With the new condo right side, you can see that we have the notes and those nodes are connected together. And thanks to that, you can, for example, control with one nodes a lot of Footage at once. So this is also very interesting and useful. So it depends. Some people like to work on Layers, other nodes. And of course the price is different. So I remember correct the new keys more expensive than After Effects. So thank you for attention and we can start to work with After Effects 4. Interface: Okay, This time we start with interface. When you first start After Effects, you will get the home popup window. This window we're on the left side too, can start your home or in settings. If you have the account on Adobe Cloud, you can, since it here. There is also possible to start the new project open. You're exiting project under-resource. So option two, new team project and opened in project. The team project also work if you have the R console on adobe clouds, can you can exchange the information from your file between other people that you cooperate with. This window will open every time you will start your After Effects. Okay, so now we will close it. And this you can see here we have the mind window of our After Effects software. So in the center, you have to mine button to start in composition or new composition from footage. This is also new option and this is hole. All the window that you can see are set as default. So every time you will start After Effects on other PC or as a fresh install, this localisation of window will be your default. So every time if you change something in the window, you can Back to the beginning and ordering those will be setting again in the same localization as you can see right now. So you can see that this is called default. On the left side, we have the main window which is called project. Into this window, we loaded or our footage or image. On the bottom line we have timeline where we can switching time on our footage that we can learn from our project. And these two windows, timeline and project will be or mania and you will mostly use all of them. Everything that will appear, will appear in this center window where you can start your composition. On the right side, you can see that there are a lot of bookmarks or shortcuts. You will use it to start with some effects. On the top you can see or standards, many like file edit, Composition layer and many out there that you will also use during your work. Below is the first and mine toolbar. And here we have most common function that will also use in state of default option. We can also switch to other workspace that are dedicated to some work. So for example, the first one is learn. When we switch to learn, you can see that we have in new windows settings and on the left side, we have some basic information for our After Effects. The next one is the standard one. So the standard is little difference from default. This will set your window in different position. Next we have small screen. This is mostly used, for example, for laptops because laptops as smaller screen and there is also libraries. With the libraries you have fast taxes or to all your file or composition that are located. Adobe Stock or an Adobe account. If you have it. When you click on this arrow, you have more workspace like all panels. So right now you can see all the panels from the right side, you have workspace dedicated one in four, create animations. So we have all the unnecessary windows open for animations, essential graphics. So this is mostly when you will work with some graphic. There is also other workspace. But mostly for this course, I will use the default here. For example, we have Lumetri Scopes that are used to correct the colors. The next star for FX, the minimal, if you only need all the necessary windows. The paint, for example, to draw something and for creating text. And there is also one more motion tracking to track or the animation on our Footage. So we have also workspace dedicated only for these works. And we have also edit workspace where we can make some modification in existing workspace. And we can add or remove some windows Back to our default. And as you might noticed, we can change the localization of each window by ourselves, which is very easy and intuitive. Everything will do just with the mouse. So when we left-click on our windows, for example, that we select, for example, the project and will hold the mouse. You can see that we can change the position. And when we hit the mouse and we thought we can switch it to different or snap it to different edges. So for example here, and as you can see, we have project in the middle one and the rest of the Windows has been automatically resize. We have also possibly to reset to saved layout, our workspace. Save changes to this workspace, or save as a new workspace or also edit existing workspace. For example, I will save this workspace as a new one, and I will set it as a one. Click. Okay? And every time I'm go to Windows workspace, I will get the one. And if I will switch to other workspace, I have always possibility to Back to my saved workspace that for example, I prepared to my work every time you can raise it to your default. Personally, I don't switch match between workspace. I don't use my Safed. I mostly use the default. And the same will be for holiday cards 5. What the Composition is: Okay, This time I'm going to talk about the composition in After Effects. So every time you would like to add or insert any of your Footage image or five, you need to first create the composition. So to rot any file you can use the import or you can use drag and drop from your Windows. You can move the mouse. You can input all your files directly into the project. The project is the one window. You can insert anything from your PC. When you right-click in projects, you have also option to create new composition about this function. I will talk in the next lesson. But there is also possibility to create a new folder. So for example, if you create new folder, it's working the same way as in your PC computer. You can, for example, change the name and the folder, insert any other file. You can also create new Adobe Photoshop file. Because After Effects, very good. Cooperate with Adobe Photoshop. And there is also possible to create the Maxon Cinema 4D file because cinema is also varying software to cooperate with After Effects in a few modes. Also, the model will be added here, but this is still not confirm information. But if you know seen MIT's very good because they work really awesome. You can also import a single file, multiple file. You can also import anything from your libraries from Adobe account. So for example, from this bookmark on the right side, there is also possible to import any file from Adobe Premier Pro project, very likely into After Effects and after you make any changes in Premier Pro, it will automatically appear in After Effects. You can also import other project that has been my thing After Effects, this is also very useful. You can also lot vanishing point. Vanishing points you can create, for example, in Photoshop to create, for example, surface that will be in the same positions as, for example, war on the building can After that, you can wrap this vanishing point into After Effects. And this is very good if you want to place anything, for example, on building. You can also create the placeholder. Placeholder is something which is called missing name or missing file. And dismissing file is created specially because now you can use this file into your footage, into your project. And when you are done, you can replace this missing name, this missing file with your final project. For example, there could be situation that you create the project but you don't have. Finally, for example, record some project with the physical camera so you can start to work with your existing. And at the end you can also lot your final footage. There is also possible to create a solid. Solids are the frame or it's the still image with some colors. So very often you will need some background, then you will use this solid because a solid color to create some image. And as you can see, you can also drag and drop any file from your computer Windows directly into the projects. You need to wait for few seconds until it will be incorrectly loaded. Now I will select all of them and I will removed. So now we have footage. The footage is a straight clip that will be used to our final work. After Effects can lot, a lot of different type of extension like Mp4 way. For many, many, there is really a lot of possibility. And we can drag this footage directly into our timeline. And when I drag it and drop it with my most, it will appear on the right side. So this means that we are in the mind composition. And this compositions right now has only one file. This file is directly from the GoPro, as you can see in state off my Footage, there has been also created the composition. As you can see, the Composition is with different icon. And this composition right now include only one file. And I can a lot, also a lot of different. When I double-click on my footage, you can see that right now I am in the Footage GoPro editor. So this means that I can make some edits and some modification for my footage before I will use it in my final work, for example, I can just reduce the time or many other. So I just remove right now my composition. And as you can see, I can also create the composition from this to mine bottom. There are two difference between create new composition and create Composition From Footage. So when I hit the new composition, I get the new Windows Popup where I need to set every frame from the beginning. So it means that I need to set some resolution, background color firmer at frame rates. Timecode. I can also set some advanced options. But if I select my Footage and when I drag and drop it directly into the timeline, them It's mean that my composition has been created from the footage. I will just remove the sound right now. And as you can see when I hit the plate, there is the green progressive bar that will render my Footage. To have the real time preview, you need to have a lot of RAM in your PC because After Effect is the software data is very ramp consumptive. It will use also your CPU. The GPU is in the bathtub taste. You can also use the GPU, but mostly After Effects, use RAM and CPU to work 6. Create Composition: Okay, So this time I will explain you how to create a new composition in a correct way. So we click on the new composition and we have some setting. The first one is the composition name. This is straight, easy because you need to put here some name. I advise to put their name that will exactly describe what this composition is about. Because when you have a lot of composition, it is hard to find, which is what? We have some tabs, basic advance and 3D render. We started with the basic. So the first thing that we need to select these the presets, and we have preset divided in to the few category. The first one is possibly to choose between an DSC and pile. It depends what system you use. The next one, our standards, one, like 720 or ten. At the next we have some foolhardy with four K resolution or even eight K. So for this resolution, you need to have really good computer at the end to have some Cinema Composition data are used to create the movie. So as you can see in a very fast way, you can choose between many presets. If you don't want to use the presets, you can manually set the width and height. There is also a possibility to look the aspect ratio. So if you, for example, have this option to none, and by changing only the one dimension, the second will be automatically calculated to get the proper ratio between the dimension. And of course, when you manually switch them, the preset will be also change to custom. The pixel aspect ratio. Here we have possibly to choose the different systems, so it depends which one we need them. We need to select the correct one. Then we have the frame rate, very important option. We set how many frame rate we want to have for our composition. And we have two systems, drop frame and non drop frame. The frame is not a current. So this means that, for example, one minutes will not be the same on our timeline. So this is when we use drop frame and this system is use the probability United States and we have non drop frame. This is very accurate. So it means that we've one minutes, we have exactly 1 min on our timeline and non-drug frame we will use in this course and also advise to use only non and drop frame resolution for this composition, we can switch between different quality of our preview. If we switch to the full, then we of course need a lot of RAM to get the whole quality preview on our timeline. Of course, this option, we can also switch on our timeline every time. Then we have the start time code we can set here when our composition will start on, on our timeline and duration, how long it will work on our timeline. So we can also set the duration of our Composition, and there is also background color. So we can choose it manually or from the, from this color selection. Or we can use the color picker. Color picker. We can select the color from other composition. In the adverse tab, we have set the anchor point about the anchor points. I will talk about this later. We have also two option preserves frame rate and preserves resolution when niece that those options are mostly used when you import some footage with different resolution or with different frame rates. So it is good to tune it on only if you lot footage with different value, the motion blur, you can set the motion blur here, but about the motion blue regular talked about this lighter and 3D render because we can also at the camera to our footage or the objects them, we sometimes need to switch the render engine me because the classic 3D render are limited in some way. And for example, we need to switch it to other if you want to get some different results. A, the problem with their renders engines is that when you switch to other, sometimes you will get a new option, new possibility, but you can lose some Other one from the previous engine. So the engines are different will give you different possibility and they also have different limitations. So you must remember about this. For example, if you switch to Cinema 4D, you can see on the bottom box what you will get the enable, but what will be disabled. So this means that you will lose some of the opsin and possibility. So it must be very careful about this and choose only this one that you are sure that you will need to for your presentation or for your work. Okay, here we have also the shortcut, a shortcut to create a new folder in a very fast way, we can rename it, for example, I will set it to come and we'll drag and drop. I can select some Footage and drop it to my further to get better organization. What's more? I can change the color for my folder and for my footage. I can add some comments. I can check what type is it, what is the size, also the Footage and the duration, and the file path for where it is localisation on my PC when you select your footage, you can also check the properties of this clip. So for example, by selecting your Footage and click on the first option, and then you would get the new window pop up, which is called interpret footage. Mostly what you can do here is to switch the frame rate because you must know that or the Footage should has the same frame rate to get the better results and to avoid any issue and problem in the future. We can also create a new composition from footage. When you choose this option, them After Effects, automatically take the resolution and frame rate from the ordinal Footage. Don't need to put it manually on your work. So for example, here we have Composition From Footage, and as you can see, we have our composition, we for K resolution because After Effects automatically take it from footage. And you can see that there is with 3,840. But for example, if we select the comp one, this is composition that we make manually and I will insert my GoPro clip. You will see that the Composition is too small for my clip because clip is in for K resolution. So you can see the difference between them if I will, switch. So we must remember that two different resolution. You need to scale clip into your composition settings. So for example, I have one Composition Settings. We've higher resorption and the second one, with the lower one. What is more important for the video editor or personal who specializes in video, it is much better to have all the footage in poor guy, because as you can see now I can change the position and I still see the footage on my screen is why for K is very good, reasonable resolution and that should be use every time you create your work. The problem with the four K resolution is that when you buy the footage with this resolution, very expensive, there is not marked hardware like camera that you can create that video in for K if they are also very expensive and they're for K, you need to have really good computer PC with many, many rum. Because without amount of RAM, you will notice that this green progress bar will render very, very low and you will not see Realtime Rendering. Okay, So this is everything about the creating composition in After Effects 7. Missing footage: There will be a lot of time that you will just try to open some project from other computer or when you just switch localization of Fahrenheit. And when you open the project, you will see that for Footage will get this icon. This means that the fight with your footage has been moved to add localisation or jazz has been delayed or many other as there could be situation. It means that the link between the final end After Effects has been broken and we need to fix it. There is a lot of possibility to fix it. One of the most easiest is to right-click on your Footage. And there is often to reload Footage. Sometimes there could be situation that After Effects in the wrong way to write to the Footage so you can reload it again. If this won't help them, there is replaced footage. And After, click Replace Footage and select the file, you will see the Explorer Windows Popup. And from here you can select your file. As you can see, the missing file is 1991, so I you selected and there is information that After FX also found the rest of the missing file and we'll replace it. So this is very good situation because you don't need to individually select each of the missing file. Even if they are all in the same localisation, After Effects will do it by himself and we'll replace or your file just in a blink overnight. So this is a very useful and very good. When we reload our Footage. It is recommended to save your file. You can say with different names, you can just save it as a copy or as XML file. Or there is also possibility to save the lower version of After Effects. So you can save it to 2015 or 2014 because there is other encryption of the file and you cannot directly lot the file from upper version into the lower one. So to save it, okay, So this is everything about missing file 8. Keyboard shortcuts: This time we will focus on keyboard shortcuts because the software like After Effects or for example, Premier Pro have a lot of different keyboard shortcuts. And keyboard shortcuts are very important to speed up your work or sometimes to find the correct options. If you don't find it in standard toolbar. We're going to keyboard shortcuts from edit. In the new window, you will see that there is the keyboard. On the right side. You can switch to your language if English is not your default. And at the beginning, we always start too, if After Effects defaults keyboards, if you want to use our own, we first we need to save it. So here we just put some name for our keyboard shortcuts. And the first thing that we need to do there is also switched to the correct command that we are interesting. For example, I will show you the timeline panel, timeline panel. And this is the window on the bottom that you can use to move or near footage. And here you can see are the shortcut will go back to the application. For example, if you want to check all the shortcuts connected to control buttons. So you select the control and how you can see all the shortcuts in After Effects that are connected with the control keyboard button. And when, for example, select the, see them, you can see some more information. For example, if you select only see, then you will tune on the camera in After Effects. If you hold Control plus C, Then it's mean that there is the copy common. So this is standard copied that we know from windows. In the below you can see all other combination with the C keyboard. For example, when you hit the Alt plus C, There is nothing will happen with the shift and C then you also switch to camera and many other functions that you see. You can also see in the listed below. If you were Example, want to search for some common to just put it in the search bar. And here you can see that we have the open and the standard is Control plus, oh, this is standard shortcuts that is use only for open. So right now I will click on it and I will add, for example, space button. So this means that right now to run the command open project, we need to heat space and control class. Oh, if you want to end-all, you can do it on the right side or you can select the clear and to set default option for your function or comments. So as you can see, the comma and keyboard shortcuts are very useful and they interface here is very user-friendly. So I recommend to use the Text more as you can. And sometimes if you will use some function very often than it is good to attach it to some shortcut 9. Setup Preferences: Okay, So right now we will talk about the Preferences. Preferences you can find tin Edit preference and to start with General tab because as you can see, there is a lot of tapping After Effects. So when we hit the general will get the new popup window. And in general, we mostly use option connected, for example, with timeline or with some option that would use it during our work. The next on the left side, we have the preview. The preview tab is connected to if our preview in real time. So we can choose, for example, the quality of our view and to what would be used to generate it this view in real time, we have to option, we have CPU and GPU at the beginning, who we see that? How many total and memory we have them there is OpenGL and CUDA. Cuda is use for generate real time. And we have also the ray tracing and we can use CPU processor from our computer or GPU. This mean that graphic card bills. As you can see, the GPU is much faster, but it is untested and sometimes on support for some graphic cards. And this can also generate you some issue or errors during real time because GPU is still in beta test or something like this. So mainly for your final image, you should use CPU for preview. You can switch sometimes to GPU Display. And this is mostly to set some options for keyframe, motion path, how they should look on our project. Import, how our footage will be imported, output, how to save our project. We can set Here's some option, a Grids and Guides. This is very useful during our project. If you, for example, want to add shape, then we can use grid or guides. And we can set here the dimension, the colors, and all the options connected to that labels. If we want to have better organization for our files, we can add the labels and here we can set the name and color for our labels. So later we can in a very fast way switch between them. Media and this sketch. Here we can set the information how many storage from our disk on PC we can reserve for After Effects. Right now you can see that I have almost 40 gb. I also recommend use this amount. There is also localization or I can set the empty sketch. So for example, if I have a lot of information, I can delete them, but it is not recommend to delight it until your project is ended. Because sometimes to speed up our work After Effects, just save everything on the media. Video preview. This is mostly use if you have more than one monitor, then you can change how the Adobe will work. For example, for two monitors, for one appearance. This is, for example, for brighteners darker. So you can change the view of your After Effects here. New project. So for example, if you want to add some templates for your, every new project, have the same and options. Autosave it is due to have autosave for me it's 20 min because sometimes could happen that After Effects will crash because we use sometimes footage we for K For example, memory. Here we have information, how many RAM we have installed, and how many RAM will be reserved for other applications like Photoshop, BI Premium. It is good to add as many RAM as possible for After Effects, because After Effects is huge amount of RAM concepting. So for the Adobe, After Effects should as possible to get as small as it only possible. For example, I have most phone After Effects and sampling for Premiere Pro or audition because I use in the same time together maybe with Photoshop. So this is why I reduce the RAM reserved for the application only to 6 gb. So it depends how many RAM you have installed. But for example, if you have something about 42 like on the screen here, than it is good to have 6 gb result for other application to work quite smooth audio hardware. So we set here are the hardware information about our audio, audio output. It's also connected with the audio settings. Since settings, what you want to synchronize with our Adobe clouds. A Type about the text and gene forms and scripting and expression. Because in After Effects we can also just write some scripts and expression in language which is used in After FX. See JavaScript. And we can adjust some colors, fonts for this expression here. Okay, So I shown you all the options. And we can also switch to exactly some bookmarks by going to prefer us and SELEX, each of these sub many individual. So this is everything about the Preferences 10. Timeline: In this part I'm going to talk about timeline, one of the most important tool window that you can find exactly here. Okay? So as you can see now, I have empty space, so I will just drag and drop my movie from my library directly to the timeline. And as you can see, it will automatically generate new item. And we have the timeline here in this window. And as you can see with this slider, I can move on my footage. I will also change the duration and that will change it into reframe. But about this, I will speak later. Okay, So as you can see, when you move this slider to the right, and then you also change the position in your time in your footage. When you hit the plus middle mouse, you will just zoom in or zoom out. ****, it is easier, for example, to move just in few frame to the forward or backward. So, and this shortcut will be use very often in this course. And the next one, we can always use page up just to move by one frame a backward, or with the page down with one frame forward. So with the shift and patch up, you will just jump by ten frames backward. And we've achieved and page down, you will go by ten frames forward. So this is most useful when you criticize, modify some footage. As I told him many times before, Dr. Effects is layer base, so it's mean that the footage that will be on the top in our timeline window will be visible. So you can see that my footage that I added is with a smaller resolution. And if I just use the middle mouse button, I will also zoom in and zoom out also in this view window. To fix the resolution of my footage. I can do it in many different way. So for example, I can use this rectangle that you can see in each corner. And we've done mouse, I can just try to fit it into my composition. Of course, I increase the size of my footage and it will also reduce the quality of the video. So this is very important and try not to increase the size of footage if you don't have and if you don't have to. For example, if you need to reduce the size, you can do it without any problem. But if you need to do it, but to increase the size, you must. Always remember about this quality. And with the slider, I can just jump into different time of my footage. This you can see every time you will hit the spacebar on keyboard. And After Effects, we'll start a render this. So now we will just discuss all the function that we have here. So the first option is to make some layer visible or not. So if we want to show it, we need to tune it on. And then we have the option to, to know or to know the sounds from the clip. So this is very useful, especially for example, if you record something, Can I want to show you the footage? Next, we have option to, to nano solo. So for example, if my layer, which is under, I can isolate and work only with it, then I have the log. So I can look at some layer. So this means that I can do any modification. Next I have arrow, which show me two option transform for creating different movement affect and to adjust the audio. Audio we can set, for example, the audio levels are, see how the waveforms look like. Next we have the color selection, so it is here to display on timeline. Then we have the number, which layer we have the name of the layer and demoed in the mouth. We have the blending options, so people who use Photoshop, they probably know it how to use them. I will talk about the blend mode in other lessons. And I can only show you that This option is used to blend, for example, a few clips hit together to make some transparency. The different options work in a different way. And every time it depends how our footage look like. If it has, for example, a lot of different color, for example, one black and white. About the blend point. We'll talk later. Here you can to know not enough transparency. There is also track might Parent Link, how to connect. Fuel layers together. About the cyber also speak lighter. And we have option to more options like comments, switches, keys, and many, many more. So for example, right now I turn on other columns. This means switches. They can also use this button below to two non-tone of more switches. And those switches we use also in a different way. For example, for to run motion blur to create the color correction or to convert our to delay or into 3D. Because After Effects also offered to work with 3D objects. So every time if you want to reduce the options because they, for example, take too much place, you can tune it on and turn it off. In this sub menu. With the in, we can see where our layer starts on our timeline and when it's, and there is also duration, how long it's take the stretch. Stretch. We can increase the speed or decrease it. There is also option to expand or in the function with this free buttons. So if we don't, of all of them, then we have only the minimum size of our window. In the bottom. You have also the slider that you can zoom in or zoom out. So this work in the same way, F Art on keyboard plus a middle mouse at this will give you to work more with more precision on the timeline. So if you need to change, for example, your speed by frame. Together with tailwind, will also use the preview window that you can see. It's looked like this. And on the top we have some button that we can use, for example, to move to the first frame of our composition. We can go back by one frame. There is also option to go to the next frame by one, by one and just jump to the last frame in our preview. And we can just play or stop our footage. We can also change and the shortcut for the play standard spacebar, but we can, for example, change it into other keyboard button that would like to use. We can also include the view of layer sounds and to non guidelines for example, or mask during the preview. We can also run the loop. So it's mean that if we go to the end of our Footage, them After Effects will start to play it from the beginning. This is mostly used if we have very short clip catch before payback. So every time you will start to play your footage, you will see this green line. This mean that After Effect, Generate or render your footage. If you have very speed computer, of course, this green line will appear in render time, but sometimes if you add a lot of different effects there under will be very slow. So if we want to have whole render before Play, you can use sketch before payback. So this means that After Effects first will try to render or the Footage and it will play it in real time. The next option is to set how much we want to render. So we can use early only work area. So this means that the render will be where my blue slider Standing, there could be work area extend and by current time. So this means that After Effects will render few frames that are forward before it starts to play. Hold the footage, or we can set entire duration. So does it mean that hold the scene, hold the footage or hold the composition will be first render. And After it will be finished them, it will be polite. So then we will get the real time preview. And the next function we have play from, we can start from, for example, different range, or we can start to play from current time. So from Quran tie, its mean that it will start from our blue slider that you will set on your timeline. So this is mostly use option. We can also change the frame rates. We can, for example, skip some frame to speed up the rendering. And we can set the resolution, but normally it will be set to auto. We can also apply the preview with the full screen, but this will be also worry, memory consumption for our computer. And the last option if catching, play catches friends. So this mean if the After Effects will render some of the frame, it will start to play it and move time to preview time. So this means that when we just stop playing, the slider will be moved to the place where we just. And so this is also very useful when you work in After Effects. There are two shortcuts. So when you want to start to play, you hit the space. But if you want to start render from the beginning, you need to hit zero or new or keyboard. So this time, After Effects will render your footage directly from the beginning. So from my experience, I can tell you that if you have very short clip, it is better to use entire duration. So this means that every time you will hit Space, After Effects will render your clip from the beginning. But if you have a little slower computer or for example, we have a lot of effects it is worth to use War korea extended by current time. So this means that we said the slider directly in some time on timeline. And after heat run space, After Effects will start to render it and we'll plate. This is everything about timeline in After Effects 11. Anchor Point: Okay, So if any footage or anything directly into After Effects, you will see that there are nine different shades, small shape elements, like for example, a rectangle in each corner and this small circle inside. So when you with the mouse select the rectangle, you can see that we've the shift. By pressing Shift, you can change the size with keeping the ratio. Without the shift, you will have it but without the ratio with the Art first, you set the size of this rectangle. And after that, After Effects will try to fit your composition into your selected rectangle. With the left rectangle, you can change the size the same with the upper and lower bar. You change the size of the footage we've keeping the ratio. If you, for example, your footage and you don't want to manually fit this, you can do it with After Effects. So you need to right-click on it, go to Transform and select Fit to Comp. Now After Effects automatically fit the size to your composition. And the last point is called anchor point. This is the center of our footage. Before I will start to talk how to modify enter point, I will start with this toolbar, the first one, the first button is the home. After to return, you will see the home screen. The next one is the Selection tool. And if you select it and select the Footage and move your mouse, you change the position in your composition. So it means that you also move this footage in your camera. The next one is the hand tool. The hand tool is used to change the position, but it's, you can see footage is still at the same place. Because you can, for example, outside your screen at a lot of other Effects and you can move it directly to your camera. The next one is option to create the Zoom. So if you want to zoom in into your Footage and by holding Alt, you can zoom out. The next one is rotation tool. As you can see, your footage is rotated in accordance to your anchor point. So this means that anchor point is the middle point of your Footage. And order modification will be always made according to the place where is your anchor point with the shift, you can rotate by 45 degree. At the next option is for the camera. But about this, I will talk later. And here we have the option to change position of anchor Point. To change place of anchor Point, I recommend to use snapping without the snapping. As you can see, we can change the position of anchor Point, but it is hard to put it, for example, in some unnecessary position. For example, if I rotate, you can see that rotation is in accordance to anchor point. So if I want to place it, for example, in this rectangle or in the middle, it is impossible without the snapping, snapping turned on. You can see that now I have some guidelines that helped me to choose the correct position. It is also snap to the corner of my footage. So it is good advice to use position of anchor Point together with debt snapping. Ok. This time I have, for example, two different composition and I would like to change the position of my anchor point. You can see that it is quite hard, so I will turn on snap along edges. And right now I have some guidelines that helped me, for example, to snap anchor points to one edges and for example, to others center of the second footage. So this could be also sometimes very useful. There is also option to change the default position of your anchor points. So for example, I will create the new shape layer. Shape layer is used to add some basic shapes. For example, I will select Rectangle Tool and I will add some shape. Because you can see right now, if I select with why my anchor point, you can see that anchor point is as a default set in the center of my whole composition, not in my shapes. So menu I have to change their position. But there is also option that we can go to edit preferences general. And we'll get the pop-up window. There is option in the general, which is called center anchor point in new shape layer. This time we will turn it on and we'll click. Okay. And every time you will create the new shape. For example, rectangle, anchor point will be automatically added to the center of this shape and the second shape. And there is also the anchor point. So this is very useful because if you make any modification, you will do this modification based on your anchor point from each site. So sometimes it is work to use, sometimes nodes is depends. And now this is everything about the anchor point in After Effects 12. Transformation: Okay, so every time you will add any footage or any elements into After Effects, you have two possibility, Mike, modification. When you hit this arrow, you will see that there is option for transform and for audio. So it means that you can make some modification we've placed of your footage in your composition, or you can tweak or change the audio. So I will start with audio because here we have only audio levels and waveforms. And as you can see with the audio levels, if you don't have feasible all the options, there is no possibility to change any audio levels options, so we need to expand our options. Then we can see that there is the value for audio levels. The zero is the standard default value. If you want, for example, increase the sounds. You can also use the expression because After Effects also offer some language that Java that you can use to create some expression or more advanced modification. So the standards with the alveolar levels, you can increase or decrease it by changing to the higher value or row it. So for example, I will also bent waveform to see how the sounds look like. Now as you can see by changing this value, also, you change the waveform. Graph visualization. This is about the audio and now we have the transform. So the first one is transfer for anchor point. So this means that anchor point stay in the same position, but we change the position of our footage in according to our position of anchor points. So this could be sometimes useful. But if you want to change position of ***** footage together with anchor points, you need to use position and you change it in X and Y. This Kyle, if you want to scale your footage, there is also chain that you can see if you turn it off them, you scale only in one exit. So this means that you don't have the ratio was set at the beginning of fewer footage. There is also rotation. So you can rotate your footage. Of course, with the plus you rotate into right-side, with the minus, rotate into opposite direction. There is also opacity if you want to make your footage more transparency, so you can change the opacity in percentage them. 100 is the highest value. Okay, so for example, if I add more footage to my composition and I would like to modify all of them at the same time. I need to select them. And I need to use, for example, from my keyboard to show me the position. And right now I can modify the position. And as you can see, this modification will be for all my layers. A is for anchor Point, as is for scale. And the same is with T opacity. So now I can change the transparency for all my footage at once. And the last one is R for rotation. So every time you will hate one of those keyboard shortcuts, you will get the modification. After Effects also offered a lot of other transformation. So when we just click the right mouse and go to the transform, there is the rosette, so it will recipe to our default position. Then we can flip horizontal, our footage. We can do the same by flip our Footage vertical. This could be also very useful. There is also center in view, so our clip will be center. There is also possibly to center anchor point in layers. So this means that our anchor point who will be set to the center. If our footage is too small, we can just go to the transform and tried to use Fit to Comp. So After Effects will automatically resize our footage to our composition settings. There is also Fit to Comp width or height. So this means that only in one direction it will be fit. So sometimes, maybe you need only to fit it. For example, in one axis, outer orient, this is how to orient is set to off. This will help you, for example, to automatically set correctly your Footage. Okay, So this is everything about the modification and transforming After Effects 13. Clip lenght: Okay, so now there will mean less than about the move through length of the clip. So you can see in this composition I have three different layer with three different footage. To compare with Adobe Premiere Pro. Changing the length in After Effect is quite harder. This is because in Premier Pro we treat each footage as a clip and we can just change the length of the clip in a very simple way. Unfortunately, in After Effects, we work with layers. So this V To complicate our work. So right now I will change the color of each footage so it will be easier to see how they are look like in our timeline. So right now, you can see that I have some length of my composition. I have three different footage here. Now I'm going to the Composition Settings. I can also go here to the Composition Settings from top money. And I will just changed the drop frame and I will set the composition length. So it will be from a start time code from zero. And I will set it to 2 min. I will hit OK. And now every time I'm go on my timeline, you can see that there is only one Footage, this one which is on the top position. So I need to make some modifications, transition that give me possibility to present all the footage one by one. So here we will need some modification for length of our footage. There is also one line you can see on the top of my timeline that can also use to zoom in or zoom out. There is also the lower line, which can give me possibility to set the length of my work area. If I will set this, for example, to one minutes, the store don't mean that my footage will end only in this time. This is only use to mark my work area on the timeline. If you want to change the position of your layer of your footage, this is quite easy. You can first select your Footage and on the timeline by holding the mouse button, you can the position to the left or to the right, the same with the longest clip and to the smaller one. So in this situation, you can see that my first clip will start from 5 s. So this means that before this, I will get black screen. This is because black screen is set as a default color in my composition settings. If I hit Spacebar, you will see that from the beginning they will be black. Of course, you need to disable catch before Payback. Okay? And now you can see in the beginning I have the black screen. Then I will get the footage with the car. I will have the sounds. Many times. There will be situation that you will need to jump to beginning or to the end of your footage or of your layer. This is possible with holding shift on keyboard and there is snapping. Of course, this snapping don't have any connection with for this one. This one on the top is only for any elements in your footage. This is not snapping for your timeline, so they are not connected. So this is only as information. So when you hold the shift them, your slider will be automatically snap to the next layer, which is really useful and very speed up your work. There is also possible that you will first select your layer. And by holding eye on the keyboard, you are going to the beginning. And by holding 0, you are going to the end of your selected layer. So for example, we select the middle layer and we hit a and 0 to change the position. So this is very important and very interesting. Of course. There will be In a situation that, for example, some of your footage has the beginning that you don't want to show to audience. There is very often that you input the After Effect hold footage, but there is something, for example, at the beginning or at the end. So in this one, I would like, for example, to remove the beginning. Can I want to show when this balloon just start up? To remove the beginning, I need to set the position of Slider and hit Alt plus left bracket. And you can see that a retina After Effect is removed the beginning. Make some modification. And After Effects just remove the parts. And for example, if you hit Alt and right brackets and the rest that is outside the slider will be also removed. And my clip is now shorter than normally, which is also very useful to change the length of the layer. If you don't like to use the keyboard shortcuts, you can also use the mouse and this arrow to re-size length of your footage with the holding the Shift on the keyboard, you can automatically snap it to your blue slider. So this is also very interesting, okay, but as you can see from the beginning, I have still the black screen. This is because I don't have any footage here. So I can change the position of my Footage and put it directly on the beginning. Or I can use the left bracket to tell After Effects to automatically move my layer. So as you can see, the balloons go up. And for example, I will manually reduce the length to the slider. And now we can see that later I get the black screen because I don't have any footage or just here. So I can manually with the Shift holding, move the position of my middle layer to get the continuum of my movie. Or I can select my first layer, hit the 0 to go to the end of my footage. Then I can select the middle one and hit Left Bracket. So I'll After Effects will automatically trying to position to my blue slider. And this will also give me the continuity of my video. As you can see, using the keyboard, shortcuts are very useful and will vary speed up your work 14. Cutting clips and Markers: We can change also the length of the key by using different methods of cutting. So for example, I will select my footage, I will use the edit and we have some options. The first one is duplicate. You can hit Control plus D. And now our layer has been duplicated and you can do any modification on the second layer, and the first one will stay the same. So this is very useful. You can also duplicate into many and different numbers of each layer. There is also the split layer. So for example, I have selected my Footage, Now I will hit Split layer and as you can see, those two layer are secreted and I can do some modification on the first one and other modification on the second one. And in the middle you can see that I have still continue between two different footage. Some person like when they split it, layer is a bottom. So you can go to the preference Generale and I'll select Create Split layer above orginal layer. So when we turn this option off and we hit, Okay, and I will remove my one layer and I will again split it. You can see that the second layer, which was splitted, is this time put on the bottom. Personally, I don't like this solution because in After Effects, everything that is above is visible. So I have this option always set to. And now every time I'm split something, the next layer will be on the top. We can select all. We can use the Control plus a on keyboard or we can deselect everything. So sometimes you will also use those option, for example, to select everything. There is also work area. So for example, I will select the work area and you can see that the work area is shorter than my whole clip. So right now when I hit the spacebar, only the work area will be rendered. I can also set B on my keyboard or N to cut my work area to the slider. This is very useful shortcut. There is also option to trim comp to work area. So After hit this option, you will see that my layer is shorter and only everything that was inside the work area has been right now on my timeline. So if you want to change the length of your clip, you can use or so work area. Okay, the next option with the word area, we have selected some work Korea. I will select layer and then I will hit lift work area. And this is what happened. Every thing that was inside my work area has been removed. My layer has been split into two different and everything that was outside the work area stay as it was before. So everything that was inside who was removed and now we have the black screen. And there was some clip also outside our work area. And it stay the same. So right now you can add anything inside. So the next one is we select layer and extract work are real and this is what happened. Our ray has been splitted into two different one, everything that was inside work area has been removed and they clip that was on the right side. That was outside. Our work area has been automatically move to the left sides so we still have the continuity and we don't see the black screen. The last option is create a protected area from work area. So we have selected for Korea and we set that this area will be protected. So this means that if I make any modification every time, I will have this work area visible on my timeline. And this is useful, for example, if you need to remember that in this place you need to at the end at something or this part is very important for your footage. Of course, you can change the position of this protected work area with the markers. So After Effects also offer Add to add markers. Right now, I will remove them. So I will do like this. Markers. Markers are very useful and you will probably use them for more advanced project that has a lot of different layers. To add Markers, you need to hit the star on your keyboard and you will add the marker. There is also possibility to go to Markers, Add marker, Markers you can move or you're timeline without any problems. You can also change some parameters of Markers when you double hit on it. You can set time when the markers will appear on timeline. You can also set the duration of your marker how long it will be visible on your timeline. So now you can see that Markers are for some period of time, you can add the comments that will be also displayed. You can add the specific color. And you can also set the Markers to be as a protective aria. And for example, right now you can see that in this time, something happened on your Footage and this would be easier for you to remember about this. So this is arithmetic about the cutting clips, layers and at the Markers 15. Modify Footage: Okay guys, right now I'll talk about the modification and how to prepare the footage for most of the time before you will add your footage to your final and I final assembly, you will probably need to make some modification tweak lamp or something more. So as you can see right now, I have footage edit to my assembly, and then I have also opened the window directly from my library on the left sides. And I have the Footage also open this window. So this is my mind composition. And here I can do all the modification for my assembly. When I add the footage to my composition and if I double-click on it, I get the new icon. And there is also new tab open. And so you can see that there is Composition window where I can make any modification for my whole assembly. Footage modification that comes from my library and layer modification that games from my modification in the composition. So as you can see, we have three different way to edit any footage. And you must be careful which you have open right now, and which you modify the present time. And now I will show you how to add some of the fight clip into your assembly. So right now I have the footage, we've the car. And what I can do is to set when this footage we'll start because, for example, the original clip for me, it's too long and I don't need all of them. So I said the beginning where it would be with the slider and I click on this icon with the bracket left and right. Right. Now you can see that my Footage start from 505 hour. This is because I recorded this with GoPro. Gopro. So put some information from the beginning, how long it takes to record this Footage. And After Effects also add this option. Here we have the duration, how long could this footage will be? And now I'm going, for example, on my assembly to this time and I hit ripple, insert, edit. And this is what happened. My, my alt clip has been divided into two separate file. And in sight, the race clip with the car. It has been added to my assembly. And what is more if I remove the car, you can see that there is the gap right now with the black screen. This is because my car has been added. Insight. And there is the second option. And it's work like overlap. So this means that the car has been added to assembly. And if I remove it, I still have my old clip without any black screen. Okay, now we are talking about the icon that we have in the modification window. So the first one is always preview the zoo if we turn this on. So it's not important in which window we are every time we hit the spacebar, render will be only this footage with this option to none. So every time you want to get any preview and renders After Effects will only show you this clip. The next one is primary viewer. This work with the camera if we have the camera added to our sin. So with this option to non, always this Footage, who will be random. The next option that is used if you want to use some preview or render for the glass if you use it. Next, we have Fit to Comp so we can zoom, for example, our footage or use option to fit to our window size. Mostly you will use fit up to 100. Next, we can add the title. Them can then take great guidelines. All these options are useful if you want to, for example, be more precise with adding some shapes. And you want to Put it exactly in some dimension. So then you can use those options. Next, if you want to jump exactly To some time on our Footage and take a snapshot. Take a snapshot is the function. So for example, we might the snapshots they meet. And when I'm go to some time and when I hit Show snapshot, I can compare the difference frame, RGB. This is for onto know of different RGB colors. The next option is to only view some part of the renders. The next we have to switch on or off the transparency. This is mostly use if we have PNG file, then we can tune on or turn off transparencies depends what we need. Next, we have the option to aspect ratio correction. Sometimes when we look at some footage, for example, from Adobe Illustrator, than we can fix the pixel ratio. Next we have the exposure puncture or we can increase or decrease it or residue to the default settings. So this is everything about when the vacation, our Footage separately. And we have some other icon in the Composition Settings. Some of them are common, so I will just keep them. And we are right now in the composition. And we're starting from the left sides. I can tune on or turn off the shape or mosque shapes. Then we have all the options the same as before. Then we have the possibility to change the quality of our renders. If we choose half, it will be worse quality, but with faster render, then we can change you from different cameras. So this is mostly use when we have the camera and we can also have more than one view in our window. But this option is also used only if we have camera one or even more. Fast preview if we also want to speed up our renders so we can just change the render quality. And then we can go in the fast way to the timeline and Composition flowchart. So this is mostly used if you have a lot of difference effects, a lot of layers. And you want to check how they are connected together so you can use the flowchart sometimes. It could be very useful and the same as before to control exposure. And the last option, so we double-click layer. So we have also some modification, mostly are common but we have additional switcher, two on top of the alpha. But about alpha, I will talk about it in other lessons. So right now you can see that there is a lot of possibility to modify your footage 16. Sequence Layers: In the lessons before I show you how to modify the clip on timeline and how to connect them together. There is also option in After Effects that software from Adobe can create some sequence. So it means that it can create some assembly also with some transition automatically. Okay, So as you can see, I have three different footage here. And now they are set in just a random position. So and now I would like to make some assembly and to show it each of them separately, one by one. So I select all the footage. I click right mouse button and I'm going to keyframe assistant sequence Layers. Okay, right now we don't turn any of this option. I will just click OK. Ok. And as you can see, After Effects, modify the position of each layer. And now I have each of them one by one shown on my timeline. So this is very useful and very fast to create some assembly. Next we will use sequence Layers again, but this time we will turn on the overlap option. If we turn it on, there is option to set duration how long overlap will take on our timeline. I said 15 s, and as you can see, now, each layers are start with some 15 s. Okay? Now I met also the transition. The first will be dissolved from layer. So this means that there will be transition between layers. But for few seconds it will be also visible, the odd one and the last option cross dissolved front and back layers. So now we have transition where in few seconds I have all layers and the new one will also appear. This transition is also very useful to create nice looking movement between two different footage. There is also option to create the sequence Layers. When we create the new composition. So I will select all the footage. Next, I select New come from Selection. This means that I'm going to create the new composition based on my existing footage. So After that, we get the new window and we need to select single composition or multiple composition. Them. We want to take dimension, it mean resolution from, directly from one layers. So for example, in this time, I will select with the four t5 ends. And I can also set the duration of my new composition. I'm set it to five. If I want. Also to directly edit render query. And there is also possible to create the sequence Layers. So we'll select overlap, duration, and we also Add Transition After click. Okay. You can see that After Effects automatically created a new composition with the sequence layer. So you can see that there is also transition with some over a, as you can see right now, I have the block border with this layer. This is because I select to create the composition based on bigger footage. Right now these balloons are this layer is smaller than other ones, so this is why there is no fitting to my mind composition. I have to do it manually. So this is what you must remember about it, okay? This is everything about the sequence Layers 17. Pre-Comp: In After Effects, you can create many different type of objects. There is a lot of options, a lot of possibility, and depends what you exactly need. You can create, created directly in After Effects. So for example, and you can see that we can create the new text. And this is separately layer where we can only put some letters. There is also the solid to create the new solid, also very often used. And by choosing the correct color, we have the solid, the shape directly on our view. We can create the lights for Video objects. We can at the camera. And null object. Null objects is the layer that don't do anything by itself, but it can be connect with other layer and we control, then we'll object. We also control the child. We can create shape layer, and here we add different type of shapes to our composition. And there is also Adjustments layer, mostly tissues to fix the color of our footage. About adjustment. I will tell you more in other lessons. And we can also, it creates something which is called Content Aware Fill layer. This is used to feel, for example, gaps or some black screen that we have in our composition. We can also create Adobe Photoshop file at Maxon Cinema 4D file. You can see we have different type of objects about most of them. I will speak later. But as you can see, if you add more and more objects, it became more and more advanced projects and it will be harder to control it. This is why we have the possibility to connect all selected layers and convert them into their one. So for example, I create pre-compose. This option is called pre-compose. And the first we need to select the name them we need to mark that we want to move everything inside new composition. We can adjust the time. So for example, the time we will be taken from the mine Composition. And we can select open new composition after clicking. Okay. So right now I click Okay, and this you can see my all three different for years has been now converted into one composition. This is easier because as you can see, I can very fast change it on my timeline, I can change the position. And by double-click, enter inside my composition where I have again, or we layer that I connected together. Now, when I'm in precomposed, I can create any modification Only for each of these layer separately. And when I'm in the mind composition, I can modify the whole pre-compose. So this will give me more control, or all three layers at the same time. So as you can see, if I move the slider is also tend to position on the main composition. Now, I can, for example, change in the very fast way at the time of my precomposed by changing this layer in my mind composition. So this is very useful and you will probably use more and more frequent words because it's will give you more control with many types of layers that by, that are connected together. So this is a quite interesting feature and this will help you to better organize your layers in your projects. Precompose, I will use very often in this course, so I hope that you understand It's work and why we need to this options. This is everything about the precompose
