Since early childhood I loved to draw and paint. When i started my higher studies i completely gave up on Art as I was more occupied with studies, but somewhere deep inside I always had the urge to paint.

While working for a corporate firm during COVID times i realized that, life is very precious. And i don't want to spend my entire life working for someone else. I just wanted to do something that makes me happy. There was just one thing apart from my family that makes me happy "Painting", that's when i decided to take my hobby to next level.

1. Introduction to todays class: Life is like a rose, peeping through the hardship of life to bloom that colors. Hey everyone. My name is Sonya and I am an artist and BADL, California. Welcome to my acrylic painting class. Today, we're going to learn how to paint realistic roses using acrylic paint. I will be teaching you basic acrylic blending technique to achieve flawless results. This is the painting we'll be doing today. So let's move on to the requirement lists. 2. Art supplies requirement: What this painting, we have a very small requirement list, starting with cadmium red color. I'm using density and Newton van March black. These are the three Vs We have been aquatic throughout the painting. This is number eight brush. You can use any brush to cover the larger area. These are the two other brushes. It's number five and number one. 3. Realistic Rose observation: Before we start painting, let's observe a realistic rules. You can absorb this one. Only the outer layers of the petals are highlighted with the bright red colors. And all the inner layer, the deeper potatoes, more darker shade, that's black or more darker red in color. We are going to observe this and we are going to be, if you don't have a realistic rules, always you can take a reference from vintage or any other platform. 4. Learning Acrylic blending technique: Before we start painting, Let's see some basic accurately blending techniques. Here I'm using the same color we will be requiring in a painting. You can always use some other colors. Just to learn some blending techniques. I'll be teaching you to basic blending techniques with the Great Lakes. Just for learning purposes, you can use any flat brush. I'm taking a little bit a color, just the black one. My colors a little dry out. So I'm taking a little more than my brush and just painting a straight line. Absolutely no techniques over you're just a straight black line with your brush. Clean your brush. Take the red one. I've done the same thing, I did it for black. Now to blend it, you can do some circular motions in between the lines of these two colors. And just gently move your brush. Bow. The circular motion you did. You can see without much effort, you got the blended color of black and red. If you're not satisfied with the color like I am not over your, you can always move your brush one more time until you get a satisfactory result or a smooth blend of both the colors. Now, the second blending technique, your first, we are taking red, just making a line using flat brush. Now here I'm mixing a little grid and a little black. Just a straight line. You just broadly the black. Brush nicely. And just gently using your flag blur brush. Just move over the colors. Draw a straight line gently so that the distinguishing line between the two color vanishes. You can see that the doubts much efforts we've achieved a good blending result, Oreo. These are the two techniques we will be using throughout of bending and view. If you're aware of any other blending technique, you are free to use that blending technique and also let me know in the comments. Thank you. 5. Starting with painting : Part 1: Let's start with that painting. You have already made a rough sketch of my roles like how I want my painting to look like. You can always take a realistic rules in front of you and then just try to sketch out the petals and the sheep of petals in which they are. If you don't have any realistic draws in front of you, you can always refer to any rosy image on Pinterest or any other platform you are familiar with. But today's Rose, I will be taking some combinations of red and black as I want my rows to be in red Gullah. Only thing while we are painting this realistic rules to keep in mind as you need to be very meditative and enjoy the process. I will share the list of colors we are using in today's painting. So I have also use some shades of red Oreo that are clearly optional. If you want to use it, you can use it if you have it available. If we don't have it handy, It's it's fine. You don't require it, but the mean basic colors which will be requiring throughout the painting. Red and black. If you have a reference picture in front of you, it gets much easier to know like how you want to paint your petals because each pedal has a different color combination limit. By different color combination, I mean that shade of black and red differs for all the vectors. I have a reference picture in front of me, which the center part of the rows is mostly in darker color as the shadow of other patterns, the outer layer of the petals as falling on the inside and it makes it look, look more darker. I'm starting with black color to show the inside of a rose. Before starting to do this, make sure that you have a proper definite background of the rows drawn, defective, drawn. It makes, it makes this process much easier to go ahead and paint in pseudo biblically. Going and starting to paint. I'm using a number of fights. Brush, adding shade over your mixing it with them black In one. Because if you observe the center of the road, it's not black, but it's a mixture of black and red color. Painting. Any realistic thing? I guess it's more important to be patient and Gamble you're painting because painting any realistic thing requires lot of time and patience. The inside of the rose petals, very teeny-tiny, small. Make sure to use proper brushes accordingly. You and I'm changing my brushes from number five to number one, depending upon the shape of the petals and how come for DB2, I'm using those brushes for that particular peptide. I'm using the same blending technique saw in our previous future due to a room. Take a deep breath. Take your time to paint it. Because beautiful, deep dive. I am using density and Newton brand color. You can use any acrylic brand color available with you. But make sure they are good or professional quality wants to achieve flawless and really good results. Not a dollar in any kind of hurt. Am taking my time to make sure the colors are blended properly. Because when you observe a realistic rules, you'll see that. The main thing that is important for your rooms to look realistic is a blending of colors. Make sure you're not adding to your acrylic colors. If you are adding a tiny amount of water, otherwise the watery texture may spoil your painting and your painting might not look as realistic as it should. While painting, this makes sure that you are maintaining the breadboard paddle shaped through audio being done. Otherwise, or the bundle sheath is not proper and not realistic enough. You're painting might not look that. Sadiq, you're dying. Slowly. Dig deep breaths. The end. You will be so much satisfied with the result. And there'll be so much happy that he was so patient and calm throughout that painting. That would give you a sense of achievement. B are using the scene IG *****, or your outer layer of the petal, which on which the light is falling, looks more brighter than the inner layer because there is a shadow of our d-orbitals volume on the inner petals, which makes just the outline of the petal look bright. The inside is a little more darker than the outer one. Bob painting this rose buds. It's a little Lindy painting tutorial. I made sure that there'll be painting it in parts and may not be always stressing too much throughout this painting. If your paints out and make sure you add a little water, that your colors a little flowy, which makes it easy to blend two colors. Also makes sure. 6. Painting realistic rose - Part 2: Let's add a new paint. The remaining part of the rosy of one more thing. Just trying to sketch the rules. You make sure you up sketching the highlighted part of the red. You need to train the brighter red color. If you do so, it will become easier for you while you're coloring. You don't have to think much about like where you need to put the bread Gullah, you need to put another shade of gray in black. So this will make things a little easier for your banded few bidders realize that it's more useful to being the red color first so that the red part or the brighter part of your pedal is highlighted. And then go with adding a little mixture of red and black below the brighter red. Continuing it with darker black. On Mars Black or distributed black color. Painting. Make sure that you are maintaining the shape of the bidders that you have sketched previously with benzyl. Also, if you're just using a single brush as I am using the way you make sure that you are cleaning your brush every single time you're finished being pitted, the gets the residue of black. Me. Spoil your next button. Just gone. Fully dried to being there because it's expensive therapy or late venue or bending noses of Florio's. It's a beautiful feeling like it gives a sense of happiness. Do you make sure you're painting this, you're enjoying yourself. Don't put any kind of pressure on yourself. Like to achieve the accuracy or the color and the perfect sheet, that's absolutely fine. Ensure you dig deep pits while you're painting this very important thing. Painting this realistic roses to have a reference image or the difference between maybe an archer, rules and vendor fewer. So it makes it a task a little easier to paint a rose. You don't have to think about much. It would read should go or should I have been did more darker and more brighter. 7. Painting realistic rose - Part 3: That's Baden, the remaining part of rows. As we are advancing to the end of the end of the rows, you can realize that the size of the pedal is growing little by little as we are moving towards the end. Just because the size of the bundle is increasing, we need to be more careful about how we are blending of colors. Because no color blends will be more visible than the previous ones, because initially it is very small and the blending of a color was not as much visible as it was. It is you're continuing to use the same blending technique over. You're like the brighter red goes first, then the combination of black and red. And add the end of the better. We'll be using just the black color. Making the video a little faster to save your diamond, to make sure that you understand the basic techniques and all the unnecessary. But that's absolutely fine if you don't go towards more details of the rows. Because we are continuing to use the same blending techniques and color combination throughout tapping. Just relax. Enjoy the process. As you can see. I'm using different blending techniques for each PEDOT. So you might adopt any technique which you think is more useful to you or whichever is more comfortable to you. For this one. Completely being the end diet but did infrared. Then I use a little black and then blended it with the red. Then at the end I do just like painted the corner of the benefits. You're dying. Because beautiful things take time. Bending the rules of your goals a little earlier than Mr. shape of the petal. And it's absolutely fine because its rows and you can do roses look alike. The shape of the better differs for each and every joules. It's absolutely fine. No need to buy. The black highlight at the end of the petal really gives the depth to our painting. 8. Painting realistic rose - Part 4: Continuing with the remaining part of rules. I'm adding this video and bads because painting a realistic thing is I don't want to do to get over exhausted when you're painting this little breaks while you're painting this painting. Using these techniques, you can paint colors rules. You're one using the same blending techniques. For example, if you're painting a yellow rose or above, or whatever color of your choice. Instead of black. Just because this is a red rules and the shadow of the following in the center of the rose. And it looks darker red and black. But for other colors It's usually the darker she had. So for example, if you are painting a yellow rose, the vectors on which the light is falling will be a little brighter yellow color. As you go inside the road. Towards the center of the rose, the shade of yellow, we'll get more darker. I would love to see your projects in different color of roses instead of red. As you can see, they have exactly the same shape. Delivery of this again and again, because it's really important when you're painting anything you all your stick to have an image or do a painting in front of you to make it easy for you to understand the shades that light, those reflections. You can also share your experience like if you have any other blending technique, but you'll find that more easy than that. If you don't know, then the body section of draws you can all is deep, deep breath and just take a look at your roles like every villains on radio, I was like it's more needs more attention and more needs more color. You can always go again and read through that section. Make sure you're relaxed. Breathing. I'm telling you. Don't worry about those as your enjoyment being day. I'm definitely going to use the same brush throughout my painting because they feel that it saves my bulbous. Again easily use the same brush throughout because it tells me it gets above fixed, shipped to up the dose and it helps me blending of colors to feel that in some section, we have added a little more black than it's required. It's absolutely fine. Let the color dry completely. You can always highlight the rules with more red colors. Absolutely dry. I'm adding more black to my biggest. Adding black next to red highlights. The light on. 9. Painting realistic rose - Part 5: We are at the last section of bending on rose. Almost done. For this particular painting, I am using Winsor and Newton color because I think that this consistency is both for painting rules or anything in detail. The video, I don't need to add any extra water and extra drying medium so that it doesn't dry quickly. The Beaufort guns in C2, let me kinda my blend, my battle before the color dries completely. Absolutely free to use any brand acrylic colors, but makes sure the consistency is not. To take you to blend the colors. It should have the Buffett medium consistency, not too fluid and not too hot. As we are reaching the final layer of petals over, you need to be more careful about the Blending you're doing. You're blending needs to be more flawless and more nice. Because you're every detail or feel blending, be visible. Just relax. Enjoy the process. Using the same blending technique we had on the previous petals are being more cautious about how we are blending colors. As the dose a little more bigger than shape. Now, you're blending of colors is not as flawless or they're not looking good. You can always use water to blend the colors. You can use either of the technique. The first is, you can go from black to red. The second is from vector black. Used both these it made throughout this bending. But I genuinely think the black is more nice and it gives a more nicer effect. You can bend and diet but didn't do that. Then I had a little too black and do that and blend it. And then finally decide the black towards the center. Absolutely your choice. Blending technique you are using and this blending technique you're more comfortable. 50 breath. Your used, just do commerce. And black area is March black penetrate. If we wanted to highlight the rows and if we wanted to make it look more pinkish or more brighter, you can always add lighter shades of red over. You're like you're going to add magenta or dark. But the light is falling on the bed. Using pointed brush to do the feasibility to give a proper sheep to your pectins. Selection of brush is very important. Along with the colors. 10. Final steps: Here are the last part of painting, just bending them by grown in black. You can use any flat brush which were the head of bute global maximum area and make sure that the shape of the petal at the corners is not destroyed at the same time. Good. I was not comfortable using the flat brush at the corners because it was afraid that the shape of the petals might get destroyed. So you're amusing. More tiny brush. Make sure my vadose to look clean and flawless. For this particular painting, I'm using black color in the background. You are free to use any color of your choice in the background. I personally think that using black Bobs up your rows more nicely and gives a more nice and realistic look to your rows. If you're using any other brand, gotta make sure you're adding a little amount of water. The black for coloring the background will make your paint glide easily. Hello again, I'm using the flat brush to cover the remaining part of the canvas. Using a flat brush Shruti gives you that visibility to, to cover the maximum area of the canvas quickly. We have almost come to an end of this painting. You all in the final video, we'll be discussing the highlight of today's painting. 11. Finale Class: Welcome to the final class. Thank you so much for joining my class. I mean, part of my journey. In today's class, we learned how to create realistic closes using basic acrylic blend in degrees. I would love to hear your feedback and new versions of this BNP. So don't forget to share. And happy learning.
