1. Create and Modify Filled Region: welcome to this new section off our prep course. And what we're going to look at is the documentation part of the exam directives. This part is easy to use. It allows you to annotate documents, created interviews and field regions. What I will try to do now is to explain how to create and modify field regions. So I'll open up and you are sectoral product. I can use this link here architectural templates. Or I can go here in my new go new and the new product No go to battle books. And here I can select architectural template like so make sure that you create new projects , not a project templates, and click on OK, that creates a new rabbit architectural product. Now we can create a new date of you off a power bi detail and that data is gonna for a drafting view in honor of it projects. We're gonna add it and create a field region in these days, have you? So let's start. I'm gonna go to the view section off the ribbon. I'm coming to create panel and I select here drafting view. Now the rest of you will be purple. Tito so just type it. Bear bits detail one. Because there might be more than one detail of our building. Let's leave the scale 1 to 10. You see, we can choose anything we want here, but this one is the default, so our toes toes 1 to 10 and so I click. OK, there's our view that is blank for the moment. And let's go up to the insert tab and let's support a cat. Fine. When I click import cat file, we get that of box where a truth Kyle for the colors will settle to black and white because we don't need any colors right now. Layers or levels, we want all of them import units. We can set it to auto detect. So basically, it's gonna also detect what units are, well, correct. Any lines that they're slightly off access and for the positioning weaken, just use manual center because there are no coordinates that we have to worry about. If I click on open now, it brings in the parapet veto like so if I double click when the mouse well, now it's rooms in Ardito, you can see the fashion as they move the mouse over Ardito cat file. What I'm gonna do now is selected file, and I'm gonna go up to Green modify tab in the ribbon and into the importance since panel here and like we could explode using a full explodes. Now that explodes our cat five. Sometimes you will get the never and it can say, for example, that line is still short somewhere. It could be some very short line droning something somewhere. Don't worry. I'm just gonna delete that because this is probably some very small line that doesn't affect much my drawing and that allows me to going out and edit what I have. You'll notice that all of these here are component fines, arcs and so on. What I want to do is to create a field region off concrete, a concrete in feel. Here I was women a bit, So it's nice and central, and what I'm going to do now is go to the annotate up in the ribbon and create my field region. That's in the detail. Pounds click on the fly out of the region and there is a field region. As soon as we do that, it goes into the sketch malt. It wants me now to sketch the area that is going to create a field region in my property is over here. I have a day are gonna cross hatch. So what we'll do is to modify death into concrete once we have created a region. So I'm in here now, and I'm gonna use declines here. I'm just gonna pick the lines that form the outside boundary or the field region as women. A big now so I can see it, brother. And so I'm just picking lines. And these will form the boundary off my field region. We'll need to tidy up some of these lines, but we'll come back to that later. This big lines now and now, when a zoom out a bit, you can see that clearly you can see the lines are a bit bolt. Now let's tied up lines. We can use this tool here Three more extent, a corner. And if I select that and does it hides up, it ties that one up. So I've got a field region boundary. You can say this bull line showing it. I click on the green take to confirm this catch and there's my crosshatch. I can I'll click on it. And what happened is that it becomes blew. It shows is that it's selected, obviously. So let's go to the properties, part it and go to the type properties. We have a dialogue box properties open. I want now to change this. They are gonna cross hatch. I'm gonna duplicate it. I'm gonna name it concrete, since I want a concrete infill. Okay, that's and then I go here where it says field pattern, Click on the little button. And if I screw up a bit, I find the concrete hatch that I can use. Click. Ok, okay. Again. That updates to concrete. You have now created and modified your field region. Inner of dark. Doctor, you can always check its properties, such as area the room with her and similar in properties panel, just like the field region. Go to the properties panel and scroll down until you get to the properties that you want to see 2. About the test: this was it for this exam? Productive. Now I just want to go through the list of the exam directives with you. But first, let's take a look. It's what this professional examination consists off. I just crawled down the pdf that have done old previously, and let's have a look at the recommended experience levels. So there is the certified professional exam and it says rabbit, architecture, course or equivalent. So that would be this course past 400 hours of hands on experience that that sounds like a lot but even take about it. It's not. If you do 40 hours a week on grab, it'd work. That's what Big 10 Weeks. So just under three months. So what this certified professional exam give us? In this case? Let's take a look here. First of all, it proves your skill level. For example, your employers, you can this pretty on the best certified local and your certificates and you can include your name in the database off, suggest certified professionals. These are just some of the benefits because they look at the exam topics and objectives. So here you can see that example, say, stops 35 questions the majority of these were part of you to use Dravid architecture or to create or modify a data file, and they type your answer into any good box. The other questions can be, for example, multiple choice questions matching them and point and click. You will have about two hours time for this. This chart here shows you the skills that you will be expected to demonstrate on your professional exam and they're divided into five groups. 1st 1 is collaboration, documentation elements and families modeling and use. For more information on all of this, you can look more on the Autodesk website. You can contact your local to the certification center.
