About This Class
It's fall, and we all want to enjoy the warming flavor of a pumpkin spice coffee or latte. But do we need all the artificial ingredients in the creamers and coffees we can buy at the store?Â
Should we pay $4 or more every time we want a pumpkin spice latte?
To that I say NO! Make a flavored creamer at home that you can add to brewed coffee or espresso to make your own economical coffee drinks. Bonus - this one is VEGAN! (but super tasty and perfect for carnivores, too)
Recipe is in the "Your Project"Â section of the class - you'll need raw cashews, water, a pinch of salt, maple syrup or other sweetener, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and ground cloves as well as a blender. You'll also get directions for making vanilla and cinnamon dolce flavored creamers and a savory version you can add to pasta for a luxurious vegan alfredo sauce.
As a BONUS, I added recipes for using your creamer for healthy make-ahead breakfasts or snacks using oatmeal and chia seeds.
Once you have the recipe down, you can adjust it to use with cow's milk, almond milk, coconut milk, cream, etc.Â
That's it! Simple, wholesome, and won't break the bank.Â

After I had my son and experienced a lot of stress and anxiety about being a first time mom, I started seeking out non-physical types of yoga and delved into meditation and mindfulness. Eventually I got my 200-hour and 500-hour yoga certifications in yoga therapy and opened my own studio.
By the time I was pregnant with my second son, my practice had evolved to include all types of yoga - and it showed in how much better I felt. I practiced and taught right up... See full profile
