1. Presentation: Hi, everyone. Welcome to my class. My name is something and I'm going to teach you how to pay weeks occur what color portraits I like using by this media for my art. 2. Sketching a face: I always start catching a face, but try seeing a light straight line. It really helps drawing symmetrical eyes. 3. Choosing a theme and a palette: you might be wondering why I'm asking you to selected for your painting. 4. From digital to watercolors: I am not ready to mix my paint, and this is my set up. If you're usedto painting, you would find it easy to recreate the digital colors with actual paint. But if you knew toe water colors, the best is to experiment with your paint and mix them. Make some charts, for example. And if you have trouble with a specific shade, just send me a digital color in the community section of the class, and I will tell you how to obtain it. Here I am trying to recreate the darker digital blue, which is not far from my indigo watercolor. As you can see, it needs a different shape, a bit of turquoise, and the closest I have tothis is Sheryl and Blue. So I mix these two shades until I get the perfect color. Always keep in mind that the intensity will depend on how much water you use. So what matters here is the tone, and I think this blue is close to what we're looking for. Next we will try to recreate this light of blue with against your lung blue, to which I will add a point off black. You will notice that My digital colors are very soft, nothing bright, so a good way to turn down bright colors is toe. Add a tiny bit of black, which with water becomes great. It is also hard. 5. The hair: wet on wet technique: We will now start painting the head using the wet on wet technique. 6. Painting the face: before we start, please. Not that you need to wait until the highest drive to start working on the face again. You will paint with clear water, avoiding the ice in the mouth. It's about adding pigment little by litter. - When the paint is dry, you can pick up a very small brush and with a mixture of pink and purple, start painting the nesters. I am now adding another layer of shading, which I will blend with water, and I am finally adding another dark layer for the D tastes. Just use the colors on your palate. Do not be kept me ones. 7. Hair painting: dry on wet technique: you might be surprised to see that the face is not completing this lesson. When I paint, I alternate working on the hair and on the face, and it's up to you, in which order you paint what it does not matter, as long as the colors are wet or dry when you need them to be. In this instance, the hair is not completely dry. I pick up a color from my palate and with a rounded brush, I paint a strong off hair, varying the pressure of the brush on the paper. 8. Acrylics and pencil details : We have reached the last lesson off this class, and it's a fun one. Your portrait is and must complete. You could almost live it as it is, but I like to add small, whimsical elements toe all my paintings. So let's go back to a Pinterest board and check offspring ideas to see how well decorate this hair. I normally use color, pincers, white pence to draw these details. Depending on how dark the painting is here, I wanted to keep everything quite light and airy, so I'm choosing Spencer's because why details would not really show in the background.
