1. Class Intro : Discover Your Purpose in 5 Steps: There comes a time in each
of our lives when we really want to know what we are meant for what we really need to do. What makes us truly happy? What is something that
gives meaning to our life? Whether money should
be our only objective, or is there something more
satisfying than that? When any of that question
strikes are mine, that is the time idea frame, then you badly need to
know your purpose in life. And hence my dear
friend, this class is where you will
get your answers. Where we are going
to unfold through five steps to discover
your purpose in life. This is a dual long,
exhaustive glassware. Through each of
those steps we are going to introspect and right. And in the end, we
will define and know how to execute a lifeboat. This class will be fun. It will make you emotionally, especially when we
are uncovering step. But more than anything, you will feel a lot lighter,
contended and meaningful. Once you finish this class. Just a brief about me. I'm the teacher, go 90 from India and I loved
designing classes on sale fell on first reading in this class is
another revelation, a discovery for me to share with you my learnings on life, on how to discover your life. Believe me, when I found one, it changed my life and hence
I want to share it with you. I'm very excited to share
all that I have for you. I believe U2 are excited. And if yes, let's march on to the first lesson of this
class where I'll give you some facts about why knowing your life purpose
is super important. And then after
that, we are going to match onto the very steps, onto the real exercises that you need to do to find
your purpose in life. So let's jump straight into the first lesson of
this masterclass.
2. Why PURPOSE Is Super Important: First of all, a big welcome to you for joining the course. In this video, I'm going to
tell you why discovering your life purpose
is super important. I'm going to reference the
work of big stretch or who has written in his
book, life of purpose, that having a purpose at
seven years to your life, it reduces the risk of
heart attack and stroke. Then he says It goods here, risk of Alzheimer's
disease. Also. He also says having a purpose
can help you sleep better. It can help you increase
good cholesterol. And all of this is
absolutely free without a drug when you know
your life purpose. Not only him, but psychologists have found that people
whose lives were meaningful were found
to be healthy with lower cortisol levels that help reduce stress and make
people sleep better. You know, there was a study on 12,000 employees where
it was found that employees who
derive meaning from their work were three
times more loyal. They add 1.7 times higher job satisfaction and 1.4 times
more working easement. You see this is what having
a purpose does to your life. This is how you feel when
you do something meaningful, something connected
strongly do you, you become more fulfill, you become more satisfied, and you are in more thing and
connection with yourself. Having said all that,
I am sure now you are more eager to discover
your life purpose. So let's jump straight into the next lesson where I'll
tell you what you will need during this class to do this wonderful activity of finding the life
purpose together.
3. CLASS Requirements: So what you will be needing
for this class is not much. Believe me. I won't trouble you that much. But what you need
is a big sheet of drawing paper like
this and a pen. And I want you to write on top
of it your name like this. So my name is Danny. I have written it here. Then, right, discovering
my life purpose. Then I want you to get
a scale and divide your big sheet into five
sections like this, where steps one and step two are going to take
the largest piece. So we are going to give
them a bigger space. And steps 34.5, you
can divide it equally. Now pause the video, divide your sheets,
as I have said. And once you have done,
let's march on to the next lesson where we're
going to decode step one, which is a very exciting
and fun step to do alone. So let's do this.
4. STEP 1 : Things You're Good at: Now that you're all set
with your pen and paper, I want you to write a few
things as part of step one, which is to write
everything that you're good at or you're
comfortable doing. This could be cooking,
traveling, dancing, writing, editing, coding, or literally anything
that you are good at. I would request you to
follow me here with heart, even though at this moment
it may sound illogical. But when you will
be at step five, then you'll appreciate why
we have done this step. One, think and write at least ten things
that you are good at. E.g. in my case, I am good at editing. I'm good at driving a car. I'm good at writing content
for videos on self-help. I'm good at making videos. I'm good at face reading. I'm good at playing
cricket and badminton. I'm okay at cooking. I'm good at cycling. I do good in my
office work as well. I'm good at speaking and
giving public speeches. And then I think that makes my score to ten things
that I'm good at. Similarly, find your super ten. Don't think here that I'm
boasting my skills here. Of course not. It's just the exercise
that you need to do to discover something
important for you. Definitely you will
uncover later. So pause this video now, maybe for five-minutes,
think and write the ten things
you are good at. And I want you to stress
yourself to think of at least ten good things you do. I'm sure you'll
be able to do it. Believe me, I have done this activity with volunteers
and they were super delighted in this first step and first process itself, right? Whatever you are good at
without judging yourself. Now that you have written the ten things that you do well, or it could be eight
that you have written. It's okay to proceed. Now for all those activities
that you are good at that you have written
to complete step one, rate yourself mentally on each of those
activities out of ten. So for me, I would give myself a seven on ten in
my video editing, 610 on my driving, 7.10 on my writing, 8.10 on my videos. I hope you're enjoying my video, 8.10 for my fees, seating scale 7.10 on both
cricket and badminton, 5.10 on my cooking because
I just make edible food. My mom is fantastic at cooking. Do you cook? I read myself 7.10 on cycling, 7.10 on my office workers. Well, 8.10 probably on my
speaking and public speeches. So just read yourself
without judgment, truly, honestly from your
heart on your activities. And that will complete step
one for this masterclass. I hope you have enjoyed this tape to know
what you're good at. But the next step, step two, is going to be supercritical
for this class because it's something that will
make you emotional. It will make you a nostalgic,
but more importantly, it will give you a glimpse of where your purpose could reside. So let's jump into the next
video where we are going to uncover step two
of this masterclass.
5. STEP 2 : Writing Down Pains: Hi, I hope you have
enjoyed the step one. In this video, I'm
going to tell you about the very critical step in
discovering your life purpose. That is step two. In step two, what
you have to do is to think and write
off all the pains, the sufferings that you
have suffered gone through or causes that appeal
to you the most. Meaning it could be
your emotional pain, the heartbreak to have gone through all the financial pain, or the losses you have suffered, or how money impacted a major relationship you
have always desired file. Or it could be the causes like poverty that you see
around you or children not getting an education or
for nature that is suffering, that appeals you the most. I want you to write
all the paints that you have gone through, all that appeal to you the most. And this also, I
want you to write at least ten pins, one by one. So think of it, I'm sure you'll be able to
write more than that. But to start with, I want you to write ten. So think what pain
the difficult moment comes immediately to your mind. For me, the first one that comes immediately in my mind
is relationship failure, the cheating that I
experienced in my relationship because I had less money. The second one was when I
suffered financially and I had a huge education loan to pay and had less
salary to begin with, to the extent that
it was difficult at one stage to even manage
my food expenses. Those memories or something
that really stuck with me. The third one was
when I suffered another relationship
failure where the person I loved
was wonderful. We hired a good tuning. But again, because of less
money to go forward to the biggest step, we
couldn't proceed. The fourth one was when banks rejected me
to give a loan for my higher education because I had no assets to
take a loan with. The fifth one was when
I didn't have money to write for my entrance
examination, that is for my MBA. Another one was when I fail to execute what I wanted to do, my passion to play cricket, again because of less money. So as I have shared
a few of mine rate at least ten paints
and the difficulties that you have gone
through one-by-one, honestly, on step two, on this, people pause the video for a few minutes and
think about it. This exercise is going
to touch your soul, is going to connect you
to your true inner self. It's going to make
you emotionally, but it's something
that is very critical towards discovering
your purpose in life. Write them down. Now, the pains of your
life that you feel close to you or that are
still stuck in your mind. Go down memory lane of your
life and write them all down before we marched onto the next lesson to
uncover step three. Just remember, after step two, you may feel emotionally, you may feel a lot
lighter within your head and all that
is absolutely okay. And that also confirms
that you have done this step two in an honest way. So do it. And once you do it, Let's march onto the step
three in the next lesson.
6. STEP 3 : The FEELINGS experienced: Now that we have done step two, which I know would have made you super emotional in
this step three, I want you to write the feelings
that you have experience in all those spins that you
have written in step two. What example? I failed in
secured because of less money. I feel low self-esteem whenever spacing rejections boat in my relationships and through the banks and through my jobs. I felt nobody needs to go through the mental
state of suffering that I have been through
in my relationships. I fed loan confidence when I was rejected for
absolutely everything. I even felt money
solves everything in life and I fell to
void emotionally. Going through all these pains, I failed, whether I'll ever be able to do good in my life. All those feelings I felt and
I am telling you honestly. So write down all those
feelings that you experience in all those pains that you have
gone through or suffered. Just a hint through
your pains that you have written in step
two against that, write down what feelings you experience going
through that pain. Was it the wideness,
the insecurity, the low self-esteem,
low self confidence, or less trust on the
world, whatever it is, just write it down against the pains that you have written. A poise, right? Against European the feelings, experience and when
you're done with it, this completes step three of the process of discovering
your life purpose. Once you have written all
the feelings that you have experienced against the
pain you have gone through. Now, I would want
you to match on to the step four in
the next lesson.
7. STEP 4 : The MOST Critical Question: I hope you're enjoying
this class and you rarely, if yes, let's discover
what's there in step four. Step four is very
interesting because here I want you to answer one
very critical question. The most important question for this whole class until
now from yourself, which is what is the biggest pain that
you have gone through, but you don't want
those to go to. So again, go to what you
have written in step two, identify the top two to three paints that
you have suffered. But you don't want
those to go through it. For me, I fell down. I felt low on confidence. I felt motivated because
of money failures in life that affected
all areas of my life, including my career
and relationships. I don't want others
to go through the same emotional pain and financial failures that
I have been through. This was my top pane and I don't want others
to go through it. Write down your topic or two to three top pains that you don't want others to go through. This is a very important step because it's something
that will get you closer to discovering
your purpose in the latter part
of our classes. So think about it. What's the biggest pain? What is something that you don't want others to go through? Write it down in this
step, step four. And once we have written it, I want you to match onto the
next step where we are going to uncover the real
purpose of your life. So let's jump into
the next lesson.
8. STEP 5 : HOW can you alleviate PAIN: We have marched onto the final
step of this masterclass, which is step five of
very interesting step. In this step, I want you to
ask yourself this question. How can you alleviate or remove the biggest two or three
paints that you have suffered? So to answer this question, I want you to look at what you have written in step one to identify what you can do to alleviate this biggest
pain of yours. So for me, my biggest pain, as I highlighted was the
emotional breakdown, the emotional pain in my relationships in my career
that I have gone through, that I don't want
others to go through. So how can I counter
this big pain is what I have to think
through step one, where I have written
activities that I'm good at. So I have written that I'm
good at making videos for self-help and I'm good at
doing face reading as well. Hence, I design classes on self-help and personal
development to motivate people and videos on
YouTube regarding the same. And I helped my clients through faith Sweden in
their relationships. That really makes me feel the best when I write content on self-help because it's
something that is connected to the
deepest of my pin, that is connecting knee to the real passion of
what I like doing. I cannot alleviate
this emotional pain of mine through cycling, through spots that I play, through driving cars,
through cooking, although I'm okay or average
at all those activities. But I can alleviate this pain. I have gone through to what I am good and what I feel best at doing that is through designing videos and
doing face reading. So answer this question. What activities from
your step one you can do to counter this top paint that
you have gone through. Just go through all
that you are good at from step one
and mark them now, just pause this video
and mark them now. Once you have done this,
now is the time when we are going to
write our purpose. So for me, I'm
sharing my purpose with you just to help you
how you can write it. Which is to make
people feel empowered and motivated when they are
less hopeful in their lives. And I execute this purpose
by designing classes, self-help videos, and
through faith reading. Write your purpose
your, and remember, it is the exact opposite of the pain you
have gone through. Meaning, I felt low
on self-esteem. I failed week. So my
purpose became to make people feel
empowered and motivated. Another purpose which I can
share up my dad is to make people healthy who have gone through major illnesses
in their lives. And he executes his purpose through one of his
wonderful skills, which are through alternative
medicines and acupressure. Again, this is also
connected to the pain that he himself has
experienced when he was not able to cure his estimate for close to
25 years from his boat. And he has been through a major lung issue that get him into this health industry to discover more of what he can do to cure. Where he decided that
he needs to help people who are going through
the same pain through the health issues, through acupressure and through his
alternative therapies. In fact, now, he has a whole clinic dedicated
to that purpose. So find out what you can do and where you have
experienced the biggest pain. That my dear friend
is going to define a pretty major part
of your purpose. Your purpose now, and also write what you can do to
execute your purpose. Pause, think over, introspect and see what
comes through to your mind. This exercise is really going
to be a revelation for you. Do it with the heart. And I'm sure you'll be able
to write your purpose. Once you have done that,
I want you to go to the next lesson where I will unfold for you the
class project. Let's go through
it. We are very, very close to finishing
this masterclass.
9. Skillshare CLASS Project: Well, you have made it so far. This is really,
really incredible. And in this video
I'm going to ask you to share your life
purpose when you have written it down and
upload it as a class project. So what you have to
include your is defining your purpose and how you will
execute your life purpose. Remember, step one is the key. It's very simple, but once
you write it and upload it, I'm sure you are
going to execute it. So share with this
community and in case you have any doubts about
defining your purpose, just write whatever you can and I'll make sure to help
you complete that. Remember, this exercise is going to be
life-changing for you. Write your purpose,
whatever you can, click the photograph of it and upload it in the
project section. Once you did it, Let's march onto the final
video of this class, where I'm going to
just celebrate, you.
10. Congratulations: Congratulations,
you have made it to the end of this class
because it takes excitement, a bit of skepticism
when you start the class thinking whether
it'd be worth it or not. I hope it is worth it. But you have shown
the discipline to finish this class and that I think is an exceptional
quality in you. I really hope that this class
adds value to your life and helps you define your
purpose in life. Even if it's not for life, at least for a period of next four to five years where
you can just know what you feel connected to
and you can take baby steps in executing that. Because it really feels voted, even if you're not making money from an activity
that you're doing. But if it's something that is
connected to your purpose, you really feel lively
and you feel joyful. When I was doing my ID job and
making money, I felt okay. But when I really engaged
in designing videos for courses on self-help
and motivation. When I started
doing face reading, I really felt joy
back in my life. That is what purpose
does to you. It is rarely more than money. It is really more
than what you can think of will do to your life. So find one. You have to revisit
some of the steps. Do that. But it's going to
be life-changing when you find a
purpose for yourself. Remember that, just, just, just remember this, that your purpose gives
meaning to your life. And when you do something
meaningful, you feel happy. So find one. If you like this class, feel free to share your
thoughts and your reviews. I'll be glad to see them
and make sure to not forget to upload
your class project. Now I'd say goodbye to you. I hope you have
enjoyed this class. I enjoy designing and
telling you about it, and I want to thank you once
again for completing it. They can have an awesome day
and have a purposeful life.
