About This Class
Reverse doodle stitch in free motion technique with DIY project of painted-recycled fabric in to a fabric flower bucket.
Meet Your Teacher
I work as self-employed pattern maker-designer a.k.a. Tutorial Girl. I design everything from shoes to clothes and bags … anything I need that I can’t find. I recycle a lot of old jeans into a new hand painted and free motion stitched surface patterns, so my designs are a little bit more personal to me. I have a big wish to become a surface pattern designer some day and the last few years I’m the happiest if my hands are covered with paint. I’ve never grown up and I still live like DIY person.

Fabric Bucket DIY
This is a DIY mixed media project. I will show you how you could make a reverse doodle stitch on fabric surface.
PS you could use this technique also on paper or collaged papers with fabric mixed.
My idea for this project comes from my face paintings that I also embellish with doodles stitches, and this project is a little bit different version of my usual painting play. I will show how to make a fabric bucket, but you could make whatever project you like from this demo.
Enjoy in the class and please share your process photos and your finished creations on our class gallery so we will admire your work and be inspired for future projects.
Thanks for being in my class and have a nice and creative day, Mik
