About This Class
In this class you will learn how to make a cement planter and personalize it by engraving text and design elements to it. I'll show you how to go through all the process which is pretty simple and easy to follow.
At the end of this class you will have a unique cement planter to decorate your home or to give as a gift to a friend.

DELIVERABLES

LIST OF MATERIALS
Step 1: Create the planter shape with cardboard
- Cardboard box
- Cutting mat
- Ruler
- Scissors
- A cutter
- Pencil
- Duct tape
Step 2: Prepare the design
- Foam sheet (Goma Eva). You could also buy the ones that are adhesive but they go with packs.
- Letters made of foam sheet (Goma Eva)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Cutter
- Pencil
Step 3: Work with the cement
- Cement
- Spoon or stick to mix it
- A little bit of oil and a brush
- Some coins
- Gloves (optional)
- Sandpaper to soften the corners of the planter
- Paper towel to clean any extra cement
- A plastic glass
- A container to mix the cement (something that you can throw away afterward)
- A pot for water.
Step 4: Time to reveal
- A cutter or something sharp to remove the letters from the cement
Step 5: Add some colors
- Small brush
- Something to put the paint
- Paper towel
Step 6: Plant your plant
- Succulents or Cactus plants
