Now here in my case, I'm using GoDaddy. You might have some other provider. So you're going to find a place where it will say DNS for your domain and then click on it. Here you will see that you will get an option of a record. And you need to change the value of deck a record to your IP address. Alright. So how we will do in this case is that we'll just edited. And for a record at the read basically means the domain name. And right now it is bound, but we will change it to our IP address. And then you can simply go ahead and click on save. So that's basically we have pointed are a record of our domain to the hosting IP address. In the next tutorial we are going to take about how to secure digital ocean droplet with SSH keys for root privileged user. Hello everyone. So in this tutorial, we are going to check how we can login to our cloud server and then how we can create a root privilege user, and then how we can finally set up SSH keys for our cloud server. So in order to log into our cloud server, we need a tool called Git Bash. Alright, so you can simply go to this website called GID HIV-1 SCM.com slash downloads. And it would be coming to this space and you can download IT S by your operating system. I have already downloaded and installed it, so you can just install it and download and open it. And once you open it or could be looking similar to this. Now how do we log into outlet server is by using some commands, all the commands run we do use would be documented in a document which can easily see. So the command is SSH, space route at the IP address of our cloud server. The IP address is in the Digital Ocean, and you can simply go to your droplet and copy your IP address and go back to Git Bash and based IP address and press enter. It will ask to add this IP address with a known lists, which is alright, you can this typing yes and press enter. And then it will ask for the password. So what happens is that once you create a droplet, the password for your IP address and the droplet is emailed to your email account. So you can simply go to your email account and check the email with the password would be there. So copy that password and pieces here. So once you have copied the password, you can right-click here and paste and enter. Now it is asking for the current password, which is again the same. Right-click again and paste enter. Now it is asking you to reset the password or basically provide a new password. So you can provide a strong password here and confirm the password. Now you are logged in. Now the next step is that we need to create a user. So in order to create a user, we need to run a command which is add user. And I'm going to provide my name and create a user is asking for the password, gave us strong password here as well. Is asking form some additional information is not mandatory, so you can just press Enter and skip it if you want. You can fill out also. And then press yes, enter the uses created. Now in order to make this user or root privileges user, you need to again run a command which is. User mode quizzes like, similar to use a modification hyphen a for append G4 group. And now it would be able to login without any password. Now, this password, it is asking for the passphrase of your key. So give that password that you gave there. Now it will login, right? So basically we have authenticating the cloud server without password and using public and private key, which is SSH keys to authenticate the server. So one important thing that you need to do now is take a backup of this Iwate and public key somewhere in the safe place. Because if you lose this public and private key, you will face a lot of problem. Alright? Just go to this location and then save the public and private key and a safe place. It will basically update the repositories for, you know, the second command is that sudo apt-get upgrade. Now what this command will do is it will basically installed any of the new repositories or packages which have been upgraded. So this press enter and it will upgraded and rest. Yes, here.
