2. Introduction 01 - Keyboard Set up - Part 01: Hi. Welcome. Before we start typing Arabic language would have to set up our computer. You see, this is my keyboard. You don't see any Arabic script here. If I type this letter, you see the letter f on the monitor and the age and so on. So we have to set up our computer in order to be able to type Arabic language even with this keyboard right here. If you're using a Mac, this is how we set up your computer. First we click this April logo right here, then system preferences here. Which whose keyboard? Then we click this tab input sources. And here we see Portuguese. So Portuguese is my input source. What does it mean? What is in good source? Input source is away. You tell your computer what language you want to type. For example, here I have Portuguese. So this means that I can tie Portuguese language in this computer. If I want to be able to type Arabic language, I have to head it into this computer like this. I click this plus button. I read Arabic and I choose at a big dash PC. Then I click this ed button down here now I have to include sources Portuguese and Arabic. I can add another include source. Let me add Greek. I click this plus sign right here I go down upto Greek and I chose Greg. I click add And right now I have three input sources Portuguese, Greek and Arabic Down here we see show include menu in menu bar. We have to select it in order to be able to change input sources in menu bar. I click up here and I can choose any input source I want now I can close it now. Let me explain what we have here. I have these physical keyboard right here. It doesn't change. It remains the same. Whether I want to type Portuguese, English, Arabic or any other language. The keyboard is the same. So what changes is the input source. For example, if I want to type Arabic language, I goto the inquiry to menu in menu Bar. I select Arabic dash PC and that's it. Now I can type Arabic language because I have selected Arabic as my input source. For example, we see here this letter on the keyboard. This is the letter F But if I click it. What we see on the monitor is not the letter f but it's the letter Bob by, as you can see by if I click the letter a right here I don't see any letter A on the monitor. But I see the letter sheen Sheen. Why is this happening? This has happened because we have chosen Arabic s Our include source. So it doesn't matter what physical keyboard I have The physical keyboard right here is Portuguese. But my input source is Arabic, as you can see So the result will be Arabic. Even though there are Portuguese letters printed here, the same happens if you want to write Greek, we don't have to change our physical keyboard. The physical keyboard remains the same. What we have to change is our include source. We go right here and we chose Greek after choosing Greek quickly. This letter f the result won't be the letter f on the monitor because our include source is Greek. So the result is this Greek letter I don't know the name off this Greek letter but I think you have understood the idea. Any letter, your type. The result is Greek letters. This is so because we have chosen Greg s our input source. The keyboard remains the same. I can change. My include source and the choose Portuguese. Now, as you can see, these physical keyboard is Portuguese and my include source is also Portuguese. So any letter? A type and the letter a type on these physical keyboard. We'll see it on the monitor. So this is the conclusion. First, you don't need an Arabic keyboard, Toby ableto type Arabic in your computer, you just need to set up Arabic as your include source and started typing Arabic. Actually, you can Time are a big break or any other language you want. Second in discourse, we are going to learn how to type on a big without looking at the keyboard. So it doesn't matter if we don't see any Arabic printed on the keyboard in the schools will go step by step learning how to type Arabic language without looking at the keyboard. So even if we have a clean keyboard like this will be able to type Arabic language after we conclude this course, thank you very much and see you next lesson
3. Introduction 01 - Keyboard Set up - Part 02: if you are using windows, this is how you set up your computer. You right? Click the windows logo down here and you select control panel in the control panel. You select view by category. Now in clock, language and region, you select ed a language. And here we see that I have one input source Portuguese from Brazil. I click up here, ed a language in this new Indo. I select Arabic and they click open. You always see Manu variants off Arabic. We choose this one and a big from Saudi Arabia and this course will be using the Arabic keyboard off Saudi Arabia. Now I klieg ed. Now we have to include sources Portuguese from Brazil and Arabic from Saudi Arabia. Now, to be able to change input language from the men uber, we click the advanced settings and here we go toe screeching include methods and we click options. Here we see this time language bar and we have three options floating on desktop docked in the task bar and hidden will chose docked in the task bar. Then we click apply after applying. We see it down here and we can cricket And they chose the include source We want Arabic or Portuguese is finally we close everything. Now we do some testing. We select Arabic and we start typing and see all of the characters on the monitor. As you can see, we are typing and Arabic is appearing on the monitor. If we change it into Portuguese now we see Portuguese Codec terms. Now we're ready to start learning how to type Arabic language. See you the next lesson. Thank you very much.
4. Introduction 03 - How to place your hands on the keyboard: before starting typing Arabic. Let's learn how to place our hands on the keyboard. As for the left hand, we placed the pinky finger on the letter A during finger on the letter s the middle finger on the letter D and the index finger on the letter F The firm rests on this space bar. As for the right hand, we place the index finger on the Latin J the middle finger on the letter K, the ring finger on the letter l and the pinky finger on the semi column. Finally December, it's on the space bar. This is the basic position. Before we start typing notice that both homes are equally placed on the space burn. This means that you can use end off them toe press the displaced burn. I myself use only the right time to press the space bar. When I'm typing this way, I don't have to decide which some will use every time I want to press the space bar Next When we are typing like this and we commit a mistake and want to delete something, we use the right pinky finger toe press the backspace like these after we press the backspace. The pinky finger goes back toe the basic position. This is the movement we make. The pinky finger presses the backspace to delete something and goes back to the basic position. If we want to press the enter key, we also use the pinky finger. As you can see, the pinky finger presses the enter keep then goes back to the basic position. The basic position is the starting point and the ending point. Every movement you make toe press a k. Your fingers have to come back to the basic position. So the pink iffing oppresses the backspace and the enter case, as you can see after pressing it, goes back to the basic position. So always remember that this is the basic position for the left hand, depending finger rests on the letter A during finger on the letter s the middle finger on the letter D and the index finger on the letter F. As for the right hand, the index finger rats on the letter J the middle finger on the letter K during finger on the letter l and the pinky finger on the semi condom Next both thumbs rests equally on the space burn. You should decide once for all what Samuel use to press the space bar. I myself used the right thumb. Finally, we used the pinky finger off the right hand toe press the backspace and the enter keys.
5. Lesson 01 - baa - taa: Now we learn how to tap the 1st 2 letters off Arabic, the letters by end. So first we don't load our exercise fight. We open it, we click here and we chose less on one by down. This is our first lesson. This is our first exercise. Okay, this is the exercise we're going to do. The rules are as follows. First, select Arabic as your include source. We are about the type Arabic language, so select Arabic as your input source. Second, place your hands on the keyboard. Basic position. Second, place your hands on the keyboard in the basic position. Third, don't look at the keyboard. As you are typing, you have to trust your memory. You just have to remember where the case are and what fingers you use. Type them. You don't need to look at the keyboard. Okay? So don't look at the keyboard as you are typing. Now, in this lesson, we are going to learn how to type two letters which are, uh and down. These are the two letters. We are going to learn how to type in this lesson. We typed the letter by by pressing the left index on the letter F This is the letter by you have to memorize it. We typed the letter by by pressing the left index on the letter F as you can see it. And we tied the letter, uh, by pressing the right index on the letter j so let by by oppressing the left index on the letter F and letter that by pressing the right index on the letter J Okay, uh uh, back. Uh, but we want try to relate the Arabic letters toe the English letters like saying let a bar to the letter F and let Arte to the letter J. You wouldn't say that we are going to relate the Arabic letters to be fingers because now you have to remember where the Arabic letters are By remembering which fingers you used to press them this way, you don't need to look at the keyboard. So remember, we use the left index, type the letter back and we use the right index. Type the letter, uh, back. Don't try to associate the letter back to the letter F neither the letter dark to the letter J. Okay, just remember that we use the left index toe. Type the letter Bob, and we use the right index. Type the letter. Uh, don't look at the keyboard. Trust your memory now in order to develop our muscle memory in order to tap these two letters but entire without even thinking about what fingers you are using to tap them. We have this exercise. This exercise may seem simple, actually. It's very simple. Onley Two letters for us toe type by and that by the point is, do this exercise several times until you don't hesitate until you don't think. What fingers are you using? Tow. What letter? You just type it. Let typing these two letters, be as easy else, cure it or watch TV. You don't think about how you read the letters depreciation you just read. The same must happen here. You do this exercise several times until you don't think about typing these two letters or what fingers to use you just type them. So we have this exercise if we type it correctly. But uh huh, Uh huh. But, uh, but uh huh, Bob, if we type it correctly, it gets deep blue background, as you can see. And if we typed wrongly okay. If we type it wrongly, it gets this orange background. You can do this exercise several times. You create this baton, Chris Todd. And you do this exercise again. Now I'm doing these exercise. Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh huh, Uh huh, Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh. Uh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, that But But, uh, by that But, uh uh, uh uh, And back when I finished doing this exercise, I click this finish button and here on top, I see my results. My speed is 30 words per minute. And I committed one mistake. This one here I type the Bob, but I should have typed. Okay, my speed. 30 words per minute. And one mistake now likely to restart and do this exercise again. So remember, you do this exercise several times until you no longer think about what fingers you are using toe type the letters back, and this way you develop your Maskell memory. Thank you very much and see you in the next lesson.
6. Lesson 02 - yaa and noon: Hi. Welcome. In the first lesson, we learned how to type the letters back, and, uh, we use the index finger off the left hand toe, tap the letter by, and we used the index finger off the right hand to type of the letter. That and we did lots off exercises in order to be able to type these two letters but and act quickly and without hesitation. Now, in the second lesson, we learned two more letters, which are Yeah, and moon. So we used the middle finger off the left hand type the letter? Yeah, as you can see. Yeah. And we use the middle finger off the right hand type. The letter Noon? Yeah. No one. Yeah. No one. So in the second lesson, we know for Arabic letters by and time and Yeah, Ed, Noon. Okay. We typed the letter by with the index finger on the left hand. We typed the letter with the index finger off the right head. And now we type with the letter. Yeah, with the middle finger off the left hand, and we type the letter noon with the middle finger off the right hand. And now we do the second exercise, we select lesson to be our No. One. This exercise is done exactly the same way as the previous exercise. The only difference is that here we practice for letters. By that Yeah, and noon. So do this exercise several times until you are very comfortable typing this four letters. Thank you very much and see you in the next lesson.

The letter that in the second lesson we learned how to type the letters. Yeah. And noon, We use the middle finger on the left hand toe tap the letter. Yeah. And we use the middle finger off dry pan. Type the letter noon. As you can see, this will already know. Now, in this third lesson, we learned how to type the letters seeing. And I mean, we use during finger off the left hand type of the letter, seen as you can see, and we use the ring finger off the right head type the letter mean Okay, So seen me seen. I mean, please don't look at the keyboard. Just memorized that we use the ring finger off the left hand toe tap, the letter seen, and we use the ring finger off the right hand to type the letter me seeing. I mean, now the exercises were open. Lesson three scene. I mean, we do this exercise the same way we did the previous exercises. This exercise has all the six letters we have learned so far. It's like a revision off the 1st 4 letters we have started in the previous lessons bar. Uh, and, yeah, noon and the new exercises for the new letters we learned in this lesson seen and mean. Thank you very much and see you in the next lesson.
8. Lesson 04 - sheen and Kaaf: This is the first lesson in this lesson. We learn to more letters, which are Sheen and CASS. So we use the pinky finger off the left hand, type the letter sheen, and we use the pinky finger off the right hand type of the letter cast, as you can see. So pinky finger off the left hand toe tap that the letter sheen and thank you Finger of the right hand type the letter. So let's review. In the first lesson, we learned how to type the letters God and index finger off the left hand typed the letter back and index finger off the right hand typed letter. Next we learned how to type the letters. Yeah, and noon. So middle finger off the left hand toe tap the letter. Yeah, and middle finger off the right hand toe tap the letter noon. In the previous lesson, we learned how to type of the lattice scene and me ring finger off the left hand toe tap the letter seen and ring finger off the right hand toe tap. The letter mean now in this lesson, we learned how to tap the letters seen and calf. Think your finger off the left hand toe. Tap the letter sheen and take your finger off the right head. In the first lesson we started by and I don. This is what we have started. In the first lesson, we learned that we type the letter by using the index finger over the left hand. And we typed the letter, uh, using the index finger off the right head in the second lesson we started. Yeah, and no one will end that We typed the letter, Yeah, using the middle finger off the left hand and we type the letter noon using the middle finger off the right. And in the third lesson, we started seen. And I mean, also, we tapped the letter seen using the ring finger off the left hand, and we typed the letter mem using the ring finger off the right hand. And in the last lesson, we started seen and cough. We used the pinky finger off the left hand, type the letter sheen, and we use the pinky finger off the right hand type the letter cards, and we did lots off exercises so that we can tap this letters without hesitation without thinking what finger dough I use toe type the letter sheen or what finger dough I use type the letter No. One. The point is, the following discourse is not about knowing how to type Arabic letters, but about actually typing them. I myself, when I want to type out of the clan which are just type did it has become automatic second nature to me, but only after lots off practice. I came time Arabic the same way I can ride a bicycle. I don't think about how I'm riding. I just write it and I enjoy the writing. This is one point. Another point is that you have to master these eight letters very well, knowing the position and the fingers you used to tap them because we'll use these eight letters toe build other letters, for example, we'll see that the semi finger that we type the letter seen is the same finger that types the letter farm or the finger that types the Latin lamb. Here is the same finger that types the letter bob or the finger that types the letter that is the same finger that types the lead up a leaf and so on. So these eight letters are the building block upon which will build our Arabic keyboard. That's why we reserved this lesson for you to master these eight letters. Very well. We have these exercise less on five revising eight letters studied so far here The letters are connected in the previous lessons. The letters were is related. They were separated. But from this lesson, all the letters will appear connected. You do this exercise several times until you master age. And when you're ready, you can go to the next lesson. Thank you very much.

No one who let this in The second lesson. The middle finger off the left hand types. The letter? Yeah. And the middle finger off the right hand types. The letter noon. Now let's continue from here. Let's learn the following the finger that types the letter. Yeah. Is the same finger that types the letter saw? That's again. See, uh, yeah. Saad. Yeah. Sod. Yeah. And the finger that types the letter known is the same finger that types the letter. Ah, so known. Ah, no one. Ah, no one. Uh, here? Uh, yeah, yeah. Uh huh. Noone notice the natural movement off the finger when we stretch it out. Okay. So yeah, and the here, Uh, no one, uh, no one. Okay, we stretch it and we press here also, we scratch and repress. Also, we noticed that the keys off the letters far and, uh, are located slightly to the left, but the fingers press it very nicely. You don't need to make any effort. This is so natural. As you can see, you stretch the finger and you press it naturally. Here also. Okay, Now do the exercise off the lesson six here. Lesson six Far, huh? Here we revised old letters that we have started in the previous lessons and also practiced these two letters we have learned Sar. And huh? Thank you very much.

Ah, this is the association we have to make in order to memorize the Arabic keyboard in a useful way. Yeah. Sod no one, huh? Now, in this lesson, we're going to study two more letters, and they are cough and I cough. Hi. Cough trying. Cough. I'm so the finger that types the letter by is the same finger that types the letter cough by cough cough. But you cough, uh, cough. And the finger that types the letter is the same finger that perhaps the letter. I'm, uh I'm, uh I'm Doc. I by God's, uh I'm Bob off. God, I am. This is the movement we make when we want to tap the letters. Far, uh, cough and I now please do the exercise. Number seven cough. I'm in order to be able to develop muscle Member about these two letters we have just learned. And all the letters we have already started. Thank you very much.

Toe type the letter Far that is located on the right side off the letter cough. Okay, but fun by five. In the previous lesson, we learned by Cough Bob Cough. Now we learn by fire, but fire, It's like a triangle. OK, but cough fun. Uh uh. But far golf by five. Back off by five by cough, but five. Okay. It's, uh, sir, we used the ring thing off the right hand toe tap the letter maim, and we use the same a ring finger off the right hand toe tap the letter. Cisa So Mame Za I mean decide. I mean, Saad, this is the movement you make. Okay? The letter aza is a little bit feeding, so I mean at the fingers rests on this basic position. Name only. The finger during finger makes these movement. Okay, this is how your type the letter is that then you do exercise 17 Gene za in orderto practice a little bit more. Thank you very much.

He are old letters that were being studying. If you want to revise it, just select and start revising. Okay? So if you have any difficulty, if you have any difficulty typing a letter, you can select it and practice a little bit more with real Arabic. Announce. Okay. In the previous part off our course, we're typing random letters in this part. We practiced typing riel, Arabic announce. But one thing we haven't studied yet. It's the shift, Biden. Okay. I mean, this is the Arabic keyboard we started in the previous part. We covered all these Arabic. Let us. Okay. We covered everything here. All the 28 29 letters we covered Ever think? But now when we press, the shift decayed. This is what we see when we press the shift. The keys. Okay, this is what we see. So for these third part off our course, this this and this is what important. This is what is important right now that you need when you type when you exercise the letter. A leaf or hams? Um, okay. You'll need you. See? Here. It's Hamza beneath the letter. A leaf here. It's Ah, We have a live and design here. And here is Hamza above the letter A leaf. This is what we see. And this is what will use in this third part off our course. So, for example, if I want to type on Medina, this is how a type Al Medina. Al, my dear, No. Okay, you noticed that to get the Elif just like this leave just like this. But if I want to type after Mitt, Okay, First I press, This is the basic position. I pressed shift. And here I have Hamza above the letter a leaf. But if I don't press to shift, this is what I get. Okay, If I press here, I don't press here even here. Okay, If I don't press behind if I press as you can see here, if I don't press shift, I get kind. But but it. But if I press, I get hams up beneath. And if, as you can see down here, I have lama live by suppress shift. No north to hear. Hear? Okay, I have this. And if with this sign above Okay, so if I want Oh, type after Mitt I press shift and yeah, I have now I've met here. If I want to type, it's my I want to type Ismail. Here is my money Liu. Ok, so this is what we have toe understand that we press shift like this If we want toe type to press this other shift, it's like this and we type anything. You want this for the left shift or dis for the right shift? Okay, so that's all for this part. If you want toe practice a little bit more in order to master a specific letter, okay? Or it would be better if you advise everything here. New words. It give you more practice and more mastery off these Arabic. Let us thank you very much and see you in the next part.

Okay, We have been typing Arabic letters, words, sentences without the four walls Right now, we are going to learn how to type the flowers. So toe tap the vocals. We have to press the shift. The case and the falls are located here for example, a type this letter name. And for this part, we have find her. If I deleted, I press the shift and here would have double Fattah for at halftime. Okay, I delete my press. And the third we have drama. And 1234 We have Ramadan. So here, this is how we press these volumes. Okay, this is the basic position. So with the think finger off the right hand, you press it when oppressed. You just one fat got mad me. Sorry, My hello More one. And for the gas era and castrate on here You have castle up. And this year you have Castle Aton. So my for me, for mine I mean one. And if I press this I have so coun okay? so going so pointed, for example, I want to say Mom here. Okay, so toe taps Okun back This and here we have already learned about it. Okay, let this So I want toe say, for example Bismillah. Yeah, this me likey. Okay, this is how we write Bismol I Or if I want to write a book that Boone. Okay, another point. Is the comma okay? Comma is here. If I don't If I don't press Ah, the shift its while. But if oppressive, it's common. And here, if I don't dress is very for presage its petered. And here his thought If I press it is the question Mark, for example, is a Oneto esque Uh, what is it for? One pressed in Arabic is my I had a question Mark. See, Question marks like this question Mark My God, what is this? Okay, and, uh, get that wound, Have a kid. ABoone So, comma. What? Have, uh ah Carla Moon. So this is how we type with the four walls or without d forwards, for example, I can say my huh? That Okay, everything forward. My Hazar. Okay. Has, uh Kida Boon come up. Sorry. Hot moon Okay, comma or a question mark over year exclamation mark and so on. So this is how we type the Arabic forwards? Okay, they are located here. You just have to First you type the the letter I want, for example, Calf. Then if you want toe s If you want to type Kasra here are the top of walls and this tool are Deng forwards. Here is nothing but here is so kun So 12341201 Okay, so key that Boone or I can say Al Key Uh, boo like this period. Okay. I would like to say, for example, Okay about the shadow. What Josh did It's here, for example by, say, Al Sammy Al Shams as shams Chancellor, you see here a road, a sham soup without any forwards. But if I want Oh, right, it of our world. I say Al. Okay, I can put a so called year as you can see al and shame. So here is located. That or if I press shift IDs that's did as you can see here nothing pressed is fouled. But if oppress its does touch did so oppresses I press it that's did. And Fattah Sham. So OK, Sham. So a sham, Scoob. By All right. Okay. This son is far a sham, So by doing what? In my room. Okay. Clary Boone. So this is how we type the vowels in Arabic you have here the stats. It's everything. Very well. So you have type it correctly. For example, for the first part, if I write, if I type without Devo balls, it gets running like this. Me? Okay, a lie. He it's written correctly, but as I didn't put in fall, it says it's wrong. So I have toe type something like this. This me Now it's correct. I'm not Hey, okay. Sports here. I have to, uh, he But it's wrong here. Okay, let me jump it. Uh, my need. No, it's my knee. Are a he? Wait, let me restart it. Okay. He's me here. That rough my knee. Rahimi. Okay, something's wrong. This year on the harm group. Okay. Correct. Like here. Read? No, that's probably I uh huh. I mean, maybe Allow me. Yeah. Okay. Something is wrong with this, but we are typing correctly the forwards, so thank you very much. And see you in the next course.
