Sometimes it is sweet to watch stories at high speed.

A painting might take weeks or months to complete. The same goes for illustration, sculpture, and other forms of art. When we create a painting, illustration, or sculpture, we show the final version.

Through videos, we can invite our audience to time travel to see the process of creating our work. We can tell the story of our creations through videos. So let’s tell it in a delicious way: let’s flavor it with stop-motion. With video, we can build a cool time machine and bring them into the process of creating that art.

This class is about creativity and interaction, and I’ll show you how to make a creative art process video using stop-motion techniques to share with the audience.

Class has three chapters:

  1. Stop-motion Techniques
  2. Video Editing
  3. Sharing & Social Media Presence

To take this class, you will need:

  • A smartphone or camera for capturing frames, filming videos and editing videos
  • A tripod
  • App/ Software
    • Installing "Stop motion studio" app is recommended as it can help you in shooting the frames
    • A video editing software. In lessons 9 and 10 I teach "Inshot" app on mobile and "Adobe Premiere pro" on computer.

In this class, I will:

  • Tell you about planning your shots, how to order them, and items to consider when planning.
  • Show you how to set up the scene, what you need, and what shots to consider when the painting process lasts for days and the weather changes during that.
  • Show you how to create shots using a variety of techniques: "paper cut", “rolling paper”, and “additive texture”, plus adding transitions.
  • Explain how to export the videos and how to merge and edit them as a single video
  • Teach you how to make a stop-motion with items out of canvas to add to the final video.
  • Help you to get the most result of the time and passion you put into creating your art process videos with tips and tricks about building your social media presence and interacting with your audience.

I wish you all success in this class, and I’m here to support you as much as I can. Remember that I would love to see your growth, so please share your work in the Project Gallery, also share it on your social media and mention @Skillshare and @hadismalekie , so I can see your nice work.

1. Introduction: Hello and welcome. My name is [inaudible] I'm a little filmmaker from the land of animation Hi, my name is [inaudible], a little filmmaker and animator. In old ages when artists made art not all people had the chance to talk with them about their art. But in today's world, we have social media. When you make your art, you'll have the chance to share that with the world. One One the most important ways is through videos. Many audience ask you how you have made this. You can go ahead and tell a creative story. You can make a creative art process video, and add flavor to that by adding some stop motion shots. Not only that, with coming of age of augmented reality, virtual reality, you can add stories, radio stories to your art. In this class, we will make a creative art process video flavored with a stop motion. I tell you how to set up your camera and your settings to make the art process video. This class is about creativity. So after that, we go for trying some stop-motion techniques to make videos of painting. Some techniques like fill paper, rolling paper, additive texture, spreading ink, and scrolling hand. Then I will show you how to turn the photos you have shoot into a video, about how to add some video tricks to your video, and about preparing some stop-motion visuals for your art video process collection. I will tell you tips about presenting your art in social media. The project of this class is to make your shot and simple art process video for a simple abstract or geometrical painting. Are you interested? If yes, so let's get started. 2. Project: Welcome to this class. Now that you have chosen to start this class, there might be a reason, a goal, a motivation. I asked you to write that on a paper and have that in your mind during the class. To help you better reach your goal, motivation, or whatever inspires you to take this class, we have chosen a project for you. The project of this class is choosing a simple painting and making an arch process video for that, but using stop-motion techniques. They say start small, so I have chosen a small project. I recommend you to choose an abstract painting or a geometrical pattern that will help you to focus on making the stop-motion techniques and not a complicated painting. But this is just a start. I encourage you to continue this and work on that and make creative ideas for your later art process video. During practicing and making your project, think about sharing that. Think that you want to share that. That's because to think about connecting. When you share media, it's about connecting to people. Always think about that, you want to share that and that will help you think about different aspects that will help you communicate better and present your work better to people. This class is not just about techniques, but it is for flourishing your creativity, so whenever your mind tells you an idea, for example, you might tell yourself, I can hear add a voice-over. Or you might tell yourself, here I can add some texts over the video. Write them down, and make a notebook for that. Because as you go further and you continue your work, this notebook, will have lots of valuable ideas for you to add to your art process video, and make them better and better and progress. And if you have new idea about what to choose for the project of this class, I have for this sample and the resources section of the class. So see See in the next lesson. 3. Ch1: Planning: [MUSIC] Everything starts with a plan. A building is made with a plan. A travel needs plan, where to start, where to go, on what time, scheduling, timing, and what to do in what order. [MUSIC] The same goes for an art process video. If you plan for that, that will help you to proceeded more organized and so much better. [MUSIC] For planning an art process video, you can use storyboard or thumbnail shape. [MUSIC] That means you simply schedule ideas in rectangles. Those rectangles we will show you, you want to show what's scene in what order. [MUSIC] In this age that we have Internet and Internet helps us to be connected, media helps us to be connected. You as a painter, illustrator, sculptor, or any artist, you can use media to connect with your audience and present your work by media. Imagine that you have your art in a gallery. You present your work to the audience. The same goes for your artwork. If you want to tell your audience about the behind the scenes, a simple way is to make a time-lapse. But you can be more creative. Make an art process video, add some stop-motion scenes to that, and make it more fascinating and connect with your audience. [MUSIC] For presenting your artwork, one of the things that you should consider is the mood you want to deliver. The feeling that you want to deliver. Do you want to be fun and have fun in that? Or do you want to be dreamy or you want to make it whimsical? You should think about that and gradually, this will form for your process videos. [MUSIC] For example, if you want to deliver some fun idea, you might want to add some transitions that are made by snapping their fingers. Or when you want to show passing of time, you might want to use some dissolve. [MUSIC] Using different transitions is one of them. [MUSIC] Or you can think about the colors. Colors are hidden storytellers. You can say many things by choosing colors. For example, maybe you want to deliver a whimsical and you choose purple or you want to deliver a happy one, so you choose saturated colors. [MUSIC] Think about the mood you want to deliver. Think about the colors you choose, the transitions you choose, and the accessories and what you put on your table or the shots or what you wear. This all helps you to deliver what you want. For example, if you draw classical paintings, then having some accessories with feelings of classical or some cloth that have historical feelings. They can help you to deliver the mood. [MUSIC] The speed and rhythm of shots can help you. For example, an expressive painting can use high-speed shots. [MUSIC] Think about your art process video as your own gallery. In a gallery, you write a statement and you present your artworks to the audience. You set the decoration of the gallery. The same goes for your presenting and presenting your art to the audience through digital media. [MUSIC] In the coming of the new age using virtual reality, augmented reality, and other technologies, you have the chance to tell stories and present your work in a creative way. Please, right now, take your paper and write about the transitions you want to use about your favorite colors and the colors that help you to present your work and deliver that feeling about the additives and about the accessories you want to use in your art process video and in your own digital gallery. Thinking about this, see you in the next lesson. [MUSIC] 4. Ch1: Setup: [MUSIC] Now, we reached to the production phase and we want to start. Setup is a very important phase. Let me tell you why. If you want to set up your art process video with a top-down view, you set your camera using a tripod to take shots on top view of your painting. Also, you can set your camera to take shots of your canvas or painting in an angled view. If you want to set up your camera, first important thing is to use a tripod, a steady tripod that won't shake or fall or change position. [MUSIC] If it shakes, either you should throw away all the shots you have taken and start from the beginning, or you should try to use some softwares that will help you to remove the shake. But they won't always give you the wanted results. [MUSIC] Camera should be fixed, tripod should be fixed, but what if the camera shakes when you trigger the shutter? There are several solutions. One of them is to use the timer on your camera or your mobile phone. The other is to use remote shutter cable. [MUSIC] Or you can tether that to your computer. That means you connect your camera to your computer and use software to take the shot to computer and not by pressing the button on your camera. [MUSIC] Now that you have control over your camera, you should make sure about the position of your artwork. Make some notes or some tape sticks to indicate the place of the artwork to prevent it from moving or shaking. Also, remember the place of that. Also that same applies if you have a converse and you are filming that and making photos from an angle. The other important thing that you should take care of is about lighting, both in your camera and the environment. On your camera, avoid using auto white balance. Try to use a specified white balance, and also set everything to manual. About environment, if you have some lights, then make them under control. Every time that you use that in your art painting, try to not change the position or the intensity of light. If you use daylight or natural light, that's my change. For example, making your painting might last two weeks, one month, and light will change over the time. But that is something that you can use as your benefit to show that you're painting has lasted. What you can do, you can add some bureaus in between the changes. For example, you show that you color a leaf, and one day, you take that sub motion and shots. Then the other day, the weather is totally different. For example, the first day it was cloudy, and the next day it is sunny. You have taken and you should take several bureaus, for example, of your items, of your tools, or even the day or the place that you're in that. Then add that bureaus in between those shots. Throwing back to the phase of storyboarding, also think about the places that you want to take your bureaus. Maybe you want to take some near beach, or maybe you want to show that you're making that painting in a jungle. Or you are sitting near a table with some coffee on that or whatever idea that relates with you, depending on where you live and what comes to your mind. [MUSIC] About shooting their frames, you can simply shoot their frames and save their images. This was done for ages during the animation history and also is used nowadays. But if you want to use a software that helps you, you can use stop-motion studio that is a free application on your mobile phone. Let's have a look at that. I tell you more in the next lesson. Or on your computer, you can use drag-on frame. It has audio in the scheme and it helps you to animate better. [MUSIC] Set your camera. Set up your tripod. If you do not have access to a tripod, set the place that you put the camera in their fixed position. Then set up their place of your artwork and fix the settings about lighting. After that, I recommend you to take a photo of that, to remember that for the next days if you're painting last and making your art process video lasts more than one day. [MUSIC] In the next lesson we will start feeling space using paper cuts. See you in the next lesson. 5. Ch1: Papercuts: [MUSIC] Welcome to this lesson. In this lesson, we want to fill the square with an ink, but using paper cuts like this [MUSIC]. For making this, you should first prepare all the paper cutouts that you will need to make this effect. You see here I have cuts and prepared all their cardboards [MUSIC]. Now let's open stop motion studio, press "New Movie" and touch the camera icon here to start shooting the frames. Let's change the settings. Touch here and then first change the focus and scroll that, so you have your subject and scroll. Then change the auto white balance to the white balance that you think is proper for your scene. Also, change the ISO so you have the right exposure that you want for your scene. Look at here, on the left side you see in this scroll bar and then number. That is about onion skin. I will explain more later. [MUSIC] After that, you put brush, your finger, or one of them on the paper or canvas, and then take your shot. [MUSIC] Then you add the first paper cut. [MUSIC] Then take another shot. We continue that by next paper cuts one by one and taking shots. [MUSIC] Time to tell you about onion skin. As you see, the latest frame is with a bar with lower opacity, which can be a good guide for animating. Use the scroll bar for changing the opacity and tap on the number to define how many else to previous frames you want to see. Here I choose one to just see the latest frame [MUSIC]. Now, look at these two takes. [MUSIC] In this one, we see a spreading ink effect. For animating that, you should hold the brush in the same place and position. But in this one, the brush is sweeping the surface. During this process, you move the brush or your finger in each paper cut a little bit ahead. [MUSIC] Now that you have taken your shots, then paint the square with whatever material that you use, or paint, acrylic, ink, whatever you use. [MUSIC] Take their final shot and save all the shots for later that we want to make a video out of them. [MUSIC] Alternatively, if you don't want to use cardboard, you can also step-by-step paint and shoot the frame. [MUSIC] In each shot, we paint little by little, take a shot, paint a little more, take another shot and paint a little more. The same as before, you can move your brush ahead or your finger ahead. [MUSIC] In the next lesson, we want to try another tactic. See you in the next lesson. 6. Ch1: Rolling Paper: [MUSIC] In this lesson, we want to try a technique that I call that rolling paper. We want to use a rolling paper that rolls out and spreads over the surface that we want to paint that, like this. [MUSIC] Let's think about how to make that. We can think about making rolling papers, and then little by little, rolling out and taking photos. But what is the problem with that. [MUSIC] Yes in small piece of papers after rolling out, the curve will still remain. What we can do, maybe we can do that in reverse. That means we roll paper little by little and then take shot. Then we play that in reverse, so it appears that the paper rolls out and it is straight and flat on the painting. But this is also difficult because should think about not shaking, thinking about making it fixed in that persons of being rolled. That is something on control about. [MUSIC] What else we can do? We can prepare different papers in the same size, same color, and roll each of them in different amounts. Then we place each of them and take the shot. [MUSIC] Also, if you want, you can use different colors, so it will have an effect that as it rolls, the color also changes. [MUSIC] I think that your mind is reaching with creative ideas. As I told you in the project lesson, don't lose them. Just write them because you will use them in your art books and in your future art process video. [MUSIC] Oh no, a mistake in shooting their friends, what should we do? Should we start from the beginning? [MUSIC] If a frame is duplicated or redundant, tap on the frame. You see there are many tools here. Tap on delete and do this for all the unwanted frames. [MUSIC] If there is a mistake and the order of shots, tap on the frame that you want to move, and select Cut. Then scroll to where you want to move that frame, tap on that, and select Paste. Now the frame is moved there. [MUSIC] Now it's time for you to discover and try other tools. Imagine you have forgotten to take a frame, scroll to that place and now tell me what can we do. Look, the green arrow is showing you a hint. [MUSIC] Now it's time to go for learning another technique. See you in the next lesson. 7. Ch1: Additive Texture: [MUSIC] Congrats that you are still with me. That means you are really interested and you have motivation to make your art versus video. [MUSIC] The technique that I teach you in this lesson is a technique that I have called it additive texture. When your painting has some little repeatedly shapes, for example, feathers on the wings of angel or scales of a fish. These repetitive patterns can be done by adding different piece of cardboard, or if your painting is some painting that is done in mixed media, for example, you really add feather over the covers, then this technique is a good one. [MUSIC] This technique is so powerful that you can make a whole art process video just using this technique. Or better to say, you can use that to make a music visualization. You can use a music and then play with the squares or wings or feathers, scales, any items that will add based on the music visualization. [MUSIC] A question for you. Tell me how to make this? A brush, tap on the painting and make all the papers convert into a painted area. [MUSIC] Deciding whether you want to shoot all the frames from top-down view or no, you want to have different angles and shoot different techniques and different angles is up to you. In fact, these decisions are the ones that gradually help you build your art style. In the next lesson, we want to go for another technique. [MUSIC] 8. Ch1: Scrolling Hand: Now here for another technique and that can be somehow whimsical or magical or fun. That is by scrolling a hand or a brush over the surface, then it is colored with paint. [MUSIC] I'm sure now you can guess how to make them. Yes, you shoot a frame from your surface. You put your hand and take another shot. [MUSIC] Yes, you shoot frames and the same as you move your hand ahead, then your paint is surfaced behind your hand [MUSIC] but don't limit yourself. As I told you, this class is about creativity. Think about how to make it different. For example, one might say, I can paint my hand with the color that I am painting on the canvas. Have any new ideas in your mind? Don't let them be lost. Just write them in your notebook and I see you in the next lesson. [MUSIC] 9. Ch2: Turn into Videos: [MUSIC] Now we have plenty of photos and we want to turn them into videos. [MUSIC] To export as a video touch Share icon, Export Movie. Wait for some seconds and then type the name of the file that you want to save that with that name. [MUSIC] If you touch Share icon and then select all images, it will save all the frames as separate image files. But we rename zip file. I want to tell you how to edit videos on mobile and on computer. First on mobile. [MUSIC] Open InShot. Go to video and select all the videos that you want to stitch together. You see if you touch the on videos, then you can change the order of the videos. Also, if you use two fingers and a scroll that you can zoom in and zoom out to have more control. Also by dragging the slide, you can change their length of a video. [MUSIC] Now let's consider a transition. What do I mean? If you put videos one by one after each other, then they have just cut transition. But if you add some effects between them, then that will form a transition. For example, you can fade that to black, fade the end of the video to white, and fade the beginning of the next video too white too. Or you can use dissolve the two videos, the end and beginning of the other, dissolved together. It is used to showing some passing of time or some sauce transition. If you touch the pen icon between two videos, you can add transition between two videos. For example, this is dissolve transition. You can try other transitions. Some are free and some for pro version. There is an icon here. If you touch that, the transition will be applied between two selected videos. But if you select this icon, that transition will be applied between all of the videos. A fast way to edit your video. [MUSIC] Here you see a music icon. If you attach on that, you can add music or check of other clips, or you can record your own voice. [MUSIC] That's so simple. Then it's time to save your video. Touch the Save button and you select the resolution and frame per second of your video. Then you wait for some seconds and video will be saved. If in the middle of the work you are tired or you want to work on it later. Touch the back icon here and when it asks you draft or discard, you choose draft. Next time, you can continue working on that. [MUSIC] Now, we want to turn images into videos using Premier. [MUSIC] Let's import images into Premier and I'll tell you how to turn them into video. [MUSIC] To make your video in Premier, you should select New Project, then type a name for that project. Then you see here is empty, so you should make a new sequence. It asks you about resolution. You can leave that because it can be adopted to your videos. Now here I need to import our videos. I select project, and here I right-click and select Import. Then I select the video that I want to import. Here I have that in our library, so I drag and drop it. Here, it asked me to make the sequence compatible with the video. I say, change that. We now have one video. [MUSIC] This time I want to import a sequence of frames. I extract that zip file here we have our frames. Then let's go to Premier and import all the images as a video here. This time I select File Import just to let you know there is another way to import. Then I go to the folder that the images are saved. I select one of the images. I select the first image here. There is an important thing that you should select image sequence. It will import all of the images of the sequence as a video. You see here we have a video. Drag and drop that to the timeline. You can also change the order of the videos. [MUSIC] If you encounter any problem, look at the numbers of the consequence of the images. Maybe one image is deleted, so the consequence is corrupted. Rename, and correct the numbers so that problem will solve. [MUSIC] Now, let's see how to add transitions in Premier. Click on this arrow icon and then select effect. Here we see the effects. You can choose what video transition that you like here, I choose cross dissolve. Drag and drop it just between the two videos. If you select Effect Control in the panel, you can change the duration of the transition. [MUSIC] Now, let's see how to have the final results. You go to File, Export Media. Then from the list, I recommend you select H.264 because it make a file that has best quality and lower size in proportion to each other. You can also try other video types and then you choose the address and filename that you want to save the final video. Then you scroll down to see the buttons here and you select Export, then it tries to exporting the final video. [MUSIC] In the next lesson, I will tell you how to make some video tricks to make your art video, more up your link. See you in the next lesson. [MUSIC] 10. Ch2: Video Tricks: [MUSIC] Now that you have several videos out of your image sequences or your pay rolls, it's now time to make them connect and build a video. There are some editing tricks that can help you to sync on music or to help you make it more appealing. One of them is to reverse the section [MUSIC] To play your video in reverse, first, we select the video that we want to play it in reverse, then scroll and tap on reverse icon as I start processing and voila, it's done [MUSIC] The other one is to change the speed of the video [MUSIC] To change the speed of the video, select that video part and then scroll to speed. You see by scrolling the speed to more than one or less than one, you can make it play faster or slower. For example, here I play it two times faster, or a little bit more [MUSIC] Now I want to add some bounce effect to add flavor to that. I mean, we roll ahead and then roll back the paper and then roll a head. That is something like bouncing. To do that, you'll find the part that you want to bounce and using a split icon, make that part separate. Then we scroll to duplicate and tap on duplicate for two times. So we have three of that part. Then we select the middle one and add reverse to that. So the final result is that the paper rolls out and then rolls back and then rolls out [MUSIC] Here we want to use effect to distract the attention of audience from something. Look at here when the brush tap on the surface, the lighting changes a little bit. So I want to add effect to distract the attention of audience. I split the video there and add filter and then add effect. You can try different effects. And if you want you can use seven day free trial of pro version to have access to other filters. By this mean, you distract the attention of audience from the unwanted change in writing or other things that you don't want to be noticed. Also, it adds some fun to your video. Let's play that [MUSIC] If you want to divide your screen into more than one video, use PIP, Picture in Picture. So you have more than one video. [MUSIC] Now let's go for editing tricks on computer. To play in reverse, Right-click on the video, speed duration and check the reverse speed checkbox. So it's played in reverse [MUSIC] To charge the speed, you Right-click on the video and go to the speed duration. Then you type how much faster or slower you want it to be played, for example, 200 percent, make it play two times faster. Let's see, you see it's now playing faster, or 50 percent, make it play it in half speed. And it's now played slower [MUSIC] Let's make that bouncing here too. So we find the part that we want to go ahead and then roll back and then go ahead. Using the eraser tool, we make that part apart. Then using the arrow icon, and I zoom here. I scroll the ends part a little bit ahead so not to lose that. And then I select the part that we want. I press Control C to copy that, then I press Control V two times. So here we have three part of that selected part. I move the end part back. You see now we have the main part four three times. So I select the middle part and check their reverse speed. Then we have the hand, go ahead and then go back, and then go ahead. You can use this creatively, not just exactly like this, but this is just to flourish your creativity [MUSIC] Before we continue, let me tell you a wonderful opportunity that we have. Go to where you have extracted images. If one of the images, for example, like here, has a piece of cardboard that we do not want that, you can correct that. Or if you want to have some illustration over your video, you have that opportunity too. Here, I use the patch tool or you can use whatever tools that you want to correct or make add-ons to your pictures. The important thing is that you save that image the same as the number it was saved before with no changes in name or number [MUSIC] As we go ahead, it gets more interesting and it's now time for fun. Here I want to import a music, so I Right-click, press Import, and select the music one. Then I drag and drop it to the audio bars here. Yes, and the same as video. You can zoom in and you can drag the corners to change the length of the audio. Now, I want to import all the separate image files, but as separate files, not as a video. So I make a folder, I press Import, go to the file, press Control A to select all of the images. And do not check the image sequence. So the images are imported as separate files, not a video. Here I select one of the images and put that over the video, then another. Choosing the images, the order of them, the length of them, and make them sync on the music needs your patience, trying, changing, trying and changing. Here I play that in fast forward. I copy and paste the frames and you can continue that to make it part of the music visualization that you want. Let's see what is the result [MUSIC] Yes, their frames are changing based on the music. It can add fun to your video [MUSIC] Now let's make our trick for distracting the attention of audience here on computer. I go to that frame, exactly that frame that change is happening. I zoom in and then using the eraser tool, I cut a tiny part of the video that I want to add effects on that. I go to Effect, choose direction or player. And in the Effect control, I change the blur length. Let's see. Yes, that tiny part is blurred. So when we play the video, in that point, the video is blurred. So we distract the attention of audience from the changes and the lighting. In the next lesson, we will use an out of canvas stop motion. So you can use that in your art process video when you need some pay roll [MUSIC] 11. Ch1: Out of Canvas: By far we talked about working on making your process videos for a painting. But I recommend you to make a gathering of some B-rolls, to make a gathering of some out of canvas stop-motion videos. What do I mean by out of canvas? For example, you can make some establishing videos out of your inks, out of your brushes, out of your equipments, or out of your sketching. This will form a bank of bureaus that you can use them whenever you are making an art versus video and you need some petals or stop-motion B-rolls in between your shots. In the next lesson, let's talk about starting, building, and growing your MutualArt Gallery over internet to better present your artworks to the world. See you in the next lesson. 12. Ch3: Sharing Tips: [MUSIC] Now you have created your art process video. We human beings love to be creative and share what we do and help others. But after that, you might want to share your art process video as a personal project or as a business maybe you want to make art process video for artists or you want to make your page for your own paintings. So here in this lesson, I give you some tips about building your page and social media presence. Now, I talk about Instagram, but you can apply what I say to whatever social media that you want to use [MUSIC]. The first tip is that you start your Instagram page from scratch. If you have another page, don't use that and change the subject to painting because the audience of that page are not interested or might not be interested in this content so they won't interact with you. It's better to start from scratch a new page and Instagram will help you to get your audience [MUSIC]. Let me tell you how it works so you don't get stress about numbers. Don't think about numbers of followers, numbers of like, etc. Because that is not the point about art or even about a successful page. The thing that you might consider is that social media algorithms see you as how engagement you make. Imagine that you are making your art gallery. If you present your works just simply and people enter, walk around and go out, compare it with when you interact with them, you present your works, you ask them questions, talk to them, or shared story of yourself why you have created, ask their ideas. This will make people stay more in your gallery and have more enjoyment and come back again. That is the same for your social media presence. The algorithms says that, like this, ''If you engage people more then they suggest your gallery to more people' [MUSIC].What you should do, there are several tools that you can use. For example, live, live are very powerful tool, you can connect with audience and audience trust you. About posting, you can ask them questions and invite them to answer you in the comments [MUSIC]. About stories, there are several powerful tools in that like pose, questions and many other tools so use them. [MUSIC] Being active on your page means that your art gallery is open so algorithms will suggest your page to more people [MUSIC]. How to grow your page. Now, I want to give you some tips about how to grow your page. At first, just grow your page organic. What do I mean? First, follow other icons that have similar audience to the audience that you want and like their posts as they are published, comment or answer some comments, you will gain audience that are related to the subject of your post [MUSIC]. Making collaboration with other pages is another way, for example, holding lives with other pages or posting in collaboration with other pages [MUSIC]. Don't think about numbers and don't put stress on yourself because of numbers, numbers are not important. What is important is that your followers are your audience, never, ever buy followers or use softwares or other tools to gain followers. That will make your page deteriorate. How? Because your followers are not interested in your content so they won't interact with you, the less they interact with you, your page will not be suggested to others by algorithms [MUSIC]. With a good feeling, just do your artwork and trust to this rule that every day you do a small thing, it will result after a year into a great success [MUSIC]. There's something important that I should tell you and that is, don't get disappointed. Sometimes people post and share stories and then when they see no interaction, they get disappointed. But why it is not true? Because trusting between people and between your audience and you take time to form. When you post, when you share stories, the trust is being built gradually and step-by-step, do that and be consistent until the golden time that they trust you, interact with you, buy your canvas arts, or order you for art process videos, or even suggest you to their friends [MUSIC]. Keep up the good feeling and trust in your work. Be sure that your feeling will deliver to your audience. This was for this class, and in the next lesson, I will make some conclusion and talk about the final thoughts [MUSIC]. 13. Final Thoughts: Here we reach to the end of this class. In fact, for online classes, it might be a little bit more difficult because in real class, we can celebrate or make a cake and eat together, but in online classes we can't do that. But we can still be connected to each other, we can share whatever we have made and see each other, motivate each other, and you as students of this class, can be good friends together. I ask you, share your projects in the project gallery, and talk about your project to each other, make friendships and motivate each other. Also, I ask you to be active in discussions that I post in my profile page. In this class, we talked about making an art process video, about art of presenting, about planning and about mood of our arts process video. Then, we talked about the setup we need for making an art process video about tips we should take care of, about what we should consider, not to have shakes, and about what we can add to our art processing video to be more appealing. Then we talked about some techniques, for example, paper cut or rolling paper, we also talked about additive texture, then we talked about spreading ink, and after that we continue by scrolling one hand. Then we came to turning the images into a video, and after that, I told you about some video tricks to add to your art process video. Preparing some stop motion, B-rolls for your art versus video. Don't forget to share what you have gained from this class, and also, please share your project to the project gallery. It is your first project, so don't be hard on yourself. Post your project in the project gallery, and after that, you can add more to that. Also, share that to others and I hope you build your social media presence if you like, about art process video.
