1. Introduction: Hello and welcome to four
dx of a business plan. This is the introduction to
the workshop that follows. I will tell you a little bit by myself the structure and
the materials you will need and would actually vote in that quiz after going
through the COVID. What will you learn? My name is Anna Spark. I'm an intentional creativity
in business coach. I used to be an
accountant working with small businesses
for over 15 years. And this workshop is originated and was developed based on my experience working with
this small businesses. For many years, I watched
owners of the businesses. I watched small entrepreneurs struggling through the
successes and failures. And they watched how will
their businesses affect their personal lives
is in the account and often I was restricted to
how much it can advise. Usually it would be advisors on financial statements
and business growth. But I was never
allowed to comment on any personal life and family
life and community life. But the business can
grow independently. Business success very much depends on your personal
success as the owner, on your healthier lifestyles, on your health, your
relationship with your family, and your success
in the community. We can look at success of
a business separately. It brings limited vision. This workshop, particularly,
the goal of this workshop, is to teach you how to
create a business plan. But it's not a simple
classic business plan. This business plan includes the holistic vision
of business grows. It includes sustainability. It didn't glutes, includes
your personal success, it includes your personal
health and well-being. For me as a former account
and watch and Mike lines. Sometimes painful to see how businesses affect
personal well-being. For you. I want you to succeed, not just in your business, but I want you to succeed as
the owner of the business, a member of the community, as a person who has
a family or belongs to wider circle,
even doing plays. How do we do that? The bigger picture is included
in your business plan. So this is a sustainable
business plan. And for this, we have
to use our creativity. We have to use an
orthodox approaches. We have to use a new way
of seeing business grow. So for this, we're going
to use art supplies and art activities to
activate our creativity. Each session there will
be seven sessions, and each session will
have four cornerstones. I call them the four
cornerstones for elements. In each session, you will be invited to
create an intention. Then we will use our
visualization, our imagination. And then we will go
into art-making. And after the art is made, we reflect on this art and
our reflections lead us into creating another chapter
in other paragraph and other page in our business plan. With each session, we will
look at those four elements. And we're going to
use such materials as pencils, crayons, markers. You can use clay, you can use found objects. You can use magazines
for collages. Innocent that can express
form, shape, colors, texture. It's in order to activate
your creativity, in order to activate
imagination and to connect your dreams, do desires, wishes. There are seven steps in
creating a business plan. They follow the classic
business plan steps and it's what reflects the growth of a business from inception, from a startup to maturity
and then to succession. And then they have to
mention the successions step is actually not often included in the business plan
and I will talk about it. Why I feel that this
important again, for sustainability, this
step is vital as well. It's very simple progression of a life cycle of a business. And we're going to see it
through each and every step. We're going to put it
as one full vision, holistic vision, including
you as the owner. The end of the workshop, you will have all elements of a classic business plan and a new understanding of how to build a business sustainably. I hope you enjoyed. It will be lots of fun. We will create unusual things, and I hope it will benefit
not only you as a person, not only your business, but your community and the wider group of people who
involved and be patched.
2. Preparation: Hello and welcome to 40
x of a business plan. And this is our first session, and I call it Preparation. Why do we need to prepare? This is very unusual way of
writing a business plan. We use creativity and
we use imagination. And I call it four dx for
the reason because is if you go in for
dx movie theater, I watched Avatar and
in that movie Sierra, you'll get activated
all your senses, all $0.21 is activated at once. And this is what we would
like that I would like to do here in this workshop. To activate our senses, we need to learn how to relax. That's our preparation. I will show you how
we're going to do it. So our first thing is, our intention is relaxation. How do we relax? I invite you to visualize. Imagine the favorite place
that where you can relax, where you can enjoy yourself. We can feel the most comfortable where you feel
energy fluence for you. It could be a place
of your childhood. It could be ablaze on the
ocean or maybe in a forest. It's a place of tranquility. It's a place where you can enjoy having your
senses activated. Wherever it is. Bring this plays into
your imagination. Now, feel how much you are
connected with displays. We want to learn how to activate the connection
to your senses. As soon as you feel
connected to your senses, you feel connected to displays. Why do you like this place? What brings you joy? What can you say thank
you to this place? As soon as we say gratitude to a place or a moment in
life that reminds you. Peace, tranquility
or relaxation. Say gratitude to this place. From this place, I'm inviting
you to say gratitude, not only for you, but gratitude for
your future business. Is this the same place for your business as
the place for you? What do we do it in preparation, we are preparing space in your life for your
future business. Imagine how baby, when the baby comes to your life or
you grow a garden, you need to prepare space
for the future new regions, for the future growth. What do we do it in
our imagination? We're finding a
place in your life, your imagination for future
growth of your business. It could be a real place, e.g. if you are building a
restaurant or a spar, it could be a relocation, perfect location that
you're looking for, that they can say gratitude
for your future business. Or it could be imaginary place that gives strings
to your business. E.g. I. Personally get strings
in the forest, in the ocean somewhere
where there is opportunity for me to
be alone with nature. That strengthening
that's empowers me. As a business owner. I'm looking for a place where I can connect with people,
connect with you. It's two different location
due to different spaces. They have different energies. So we want to move
our energetically in our imagination to
perfect location where your business will grow, where you can say gratitude to that place for your
future business. Now, try to feel it
was all your senses. Imagine it and take
your art supplies, take paper, or if it's clear
or if it's found objects, start creating that creating for 5 min and see what comes up, what colors come with
shapes and form. It doesn't have to be perfect
or carry a certain answer. What we're looking for is
activation of your imagination, activation of your senses. We want to connect to the future place of the
growth of your business. We want to discover new
ideas, new answers. We want to find the deep message that
comes through your art. After you spend five to 20
min on your art, look at it. What does it tell you? What is unusual? You notice in your creation? Or what name would you call it? Take your journal and
write down the message that you receive during
your art creation. After you record this message. Keep those nodes and
they will help you to start writing
a business plan. And our actual session on
creation will be next time. I'll see you in
the next session.
3. Start-up: Creation Miracle: Hello and welcome to
our creation session. In this session, we can
create our business. Even previous session, we
prepared our space with a found the perfect space
for the business as a baby or for future garden. In this session, we
actually going to plant our little seed,
planned our business. We're going to start
going to create it. It's just like a startup, right? To plant our little seed. I'm inviting you to
imagine all your success, all your personal success, and your future
success of a business. And I would like you to
give your personal talents, personal potential,
personal ideas and strings. Do that little seed. What would you pass it
onto this little seat? Also, you might want to think
about that little seed of potential of creation of
success, future success. You might want to
think about what does it have of its own that
is not dependent on you. Maybe you found the
perfect location. Maybe you have old products that you can use in the
future or resources, or you can use investments that business already have
independently from you. So what we do and
we're recognizing all the potential of a future success of your
business in this little seed. After you imagine all this
potential oldest island. And you imagine how this
little seed would look like. What I would like you to do
is to create an image of you and your business on once
in one space, on one page. Or if you're creating a 3D art, it's in one dram, let's say in one
space you create in you and your business, how would that look like? Maybe it's two circles
interacting on one, in one, on one page. Or maybe you will draw the
actual seed and yourself. What do we do in this art? We want to see the
interaction of user, owner and your business. We want to give
you a business as much power and
independence and strings as possible and free you as an owner for your
future creation, you. We want you to feel
healthy, happy, joyful, and we want business to be sustainable
and grow on its own. Prosper. How do you see the interaction between you and your business? What is the success of
your business looked like independently from
their personal success? This is one of the most important moments in your business plan creation. The reason is we often
mix and we often bays personal success on sex over
mix and don't have clarity. Whereas our personal success, success of a business, you as the owner of
the business much, much more than what
you're creating. The business might
overgrow you and continue like a baby that
grew and had its own life. But you created this
business, you started. So you're given
it's all potential and you let it grow on your own, then it will become sustainable, then it will become prosperous. So how is your personal
success and business success? Laying the same universally
in the same space. Draw the potential,
draw yourself beside it and see how it look. Have fun. Look at this art and then reflect on that
are not on your ideas. No, I don't want you thinking, but what is art telling you? What do you see? You might notice different
shapes, different forms. You might notice
that the interaction of sizes and shapes and colors. What are you noticing
in your R The tells you about your success
and business success. Besides the reflection
to the art, all your notes, those will be
the goals of your business. Those will be the future goals that will go into
your business plan. So have fun creating. Post your art if you want it below and enjoy it.
Thank you so much.
4. Strength: Magic Powers Activated: Hello and welcome to four
dx of a business plan. So in the first session, we activated our
sense of connection. How do we connect to
our own intuition, our own feelings and
dreams, sensors. In the previous session, we learn about our
personal talents. We figured out what
make us successful. What do we consider
to be successful? In this session,
we're going to find out what is our strengths beside the towns
that given to us and sense of success,
but our strengths. And we want to give
our little seedling, our little plant, our little
baby, a little business. We want to strengthen it. Imagine instead of growing like little tree and you want to put the planks on or you
want to give some nutrients, did you want to strengthen it? And then gain? You want to think about
not only what you can give to your
business as the owner, but how does this business
can get its own strengths? What attracts, ah, with resources it needs and what does it attract
to strengthen it? And I'll give you a
real-life example. One of my clients in Canada, he, uh, he wasn't me, t's and
is growing in business. He realized that the business can have its own strengths by recognizing its connection
to his heritage. So you get supported by Mathias, group of people
and associations. He got investments and was able to fulfill mini-projects
in his business. So we want to recognize
not only our talents, but in our past success, but we want to find resources and strengths
in our business. So what are those resources? I'm inviting you to
take your art supplies, dq, my art materials. Instead of creating. Think about your little
plan that is growing. What does it mean
as a little plan? Does it mean what
does it need some, or maybe it needs
some nutrients. And remember, in permaculture, some plants grow in
threes the best, right? Like, we know corn
and we know pumpkin. And when they grow together by exchanging
their nutrients. So how do creatively you can strengthen your business
strings in your little seed. Stat, looking at through the arts that looking at
through your creativity, what does it need as soon as you allow your creative flows go, the strengths of your
business will come up. At the same time
you want to think, where is the weaknesses? Where is the personal
weaknesses as the one? E.g. you might recognize that
you need some knowledge in certain departments or
maybe you need help, is a gardener, e.g. we would often go and talk to
more experienced gardeners. Or is it parent? We want to talk to maybe grandparents to
find some advice. The same in business. How can we strengthen
ourselves as owners? And what do we need to give
to our little seedling? Have fun, enjoy your art. And when you reflect
on your art, this reflection will go into your business plan as the resources that you
need for your business. Enjoy.
5. Heart: Audience Invite: Hello and welcome to four
dx of the business plan. This session is called heart. The heart of our
business or our clients. This is the essence
of our enterprise. This is why we create this
business is just serve. Those who were connected to those for who we created our product for,
created our service. You are at the heart
of my business. You're out the essence
of my business. I'm creating this
workshop for you. So you are very
close to my heart. And how do we know who
we are creating it for? How we can figure
it out exactly. Who is this product
or the service form. In classic business plan, this called niche
or market research, you find in your clients, you're describing your clients. But for us it can
do it a fun way. The first is setting
up our intention. And our intention is
seeing our clients, who are our clients. And for visualization, I'm inviting you for
our imagination, for activating our imagination. I'm inviting you to
imagine either a doorway, a door, entrance
to your business, or maybe a welcoming mat. People that see at
the entrance as well. Or it could be a welcoming postcard that you
can ascend to your clients. Was it words of
welcome In this again? So the idea is who
our welcoming. Who is entering your doorway? E.g. if you are creating a gym, your doorway might be decorated and the entrance might be slightly
different than, let's say you create
a doorway for daycare or welcoming card to attacks client might be
slightly different than the welcoming card
to a dance studio. So the idea is by creating
the image using collars, imagination, texture, and
seeing who our clients. The comments through
this doorway, coming, standing on this doormat
or holding this postcard, we connect with
the right person. E.g. you can take
real life examples. Let's say we all recognize
Harley Davidson, collars, textures,
or famous scholars. We all know McDonald's colors, the clown or the image. So I don't want to guide
you in the direction that, you know in real life. I want you to create your
own essence, your own heart. You'll find your
colors and again, allow yourself total freedom. Have fun, and see what
kind of a doorway or in welcoming mat or
welcoming letter that you can create for your clients. After you create for five, 20 min, look at your
art and start writing. Writing for five, for 5 min. Nonstop as a reflection
to your creative process. And these texts that you
will write help you and guide you into
formulating the essence, the niche that you're going to work with in your business. Enjoy, have fun. If you want to post
some of your pictures, you're more than welcome. And I will see you
in the next session.
6. Connection: New and Fresh Innovations: This session is
called connection. So in the previous session, we defined who our clients. We found out our nice. But how do we connect with them? I'm not talking exact choice of media or how to write
your advertisement. But we're going to look general strategy of how do
we connect with our clients. And again, finding your
personal preference and finding your personal approach to how to do it the
best way for you. And that again, creates healthy relationship
with your client, healthy relationship
towards yourself when you try and searching for new ways of connecting
and expanding. So there are three ways
of connecting with your clients that I
observed over the years. The first way I call
it authentic way. Authentic way is something
that we do naturally. Something that happens,
especially on the first stages of the business grows when we just develop
in our company. First thing we do, we
connect to our friends, our relatives, closest circle. But at the same time, this authentic connection
could be your strategy. Just recently, I bought
a bottle of juice and in the bucket says just
plain regular orange juice. So what does it say? It said that this business, I'm searching for, authentic connection is
searching for simplicity. Searching for connecting with people who don't need
anything extra, right? Simple. Orange juice. It's stripped
of any additions or extras. Or with thirsty for that. We are thirsty for authenticity. We are, are thirsty for
this true connection, heart-to-heart, the way we are. And it could be your way
of connecting to people. It could be your way of
finding new clients. Often in a coaching
business that I am, it is advisable to tell a
personal story to be authentic. Is it the right way? It's for each and every
business is personal choice, and this is what we're
trying to find for you. The second way of connecting with businesses, always clients, I guess, is through
creativity and imagination. And this is my preferred
method of connecting. I love creativity,
I love imagination. I love finding new ways and
creating new approaches. This method of connecting with your clients sometimes
is necessary, it's needed, it's vital, especially if you established and you've been running
your business for awhile. And what happens sometimes
is that the world is growing faster than your business is
developing faster. It doesn't mean that you
don't have enough clients. Your clients are growing, but let's say the technology is developing faster
than any other business or the style is changing and you still
living in the past. When that happens, the
creativity imagination is vital, but it could be also your preferred style of
connecting with your client. And the third way, I call it the shape-shifting, shape-shifting we're
all very familiar with. When you see an
advertisement on TV about a toothpaste and you see beautiful woman was perfect. White D is that shining? It doesn't mean that
these two space to create this perfect
smile like that for you. But what it is, it's
a shape-shifting. We are changing presentation. We change in our way, we look, we present in order
to connect to our clients. This happens
everywhere. Non-stop. It could be as simple as
changing your closing when you, let's say go to meet the
new prospective client to more long-term change. Like I give you example of a platypus who adapted to
the natural environment and it's the connection of
different animals in one, alright, The adapting to
the life around them. And sometimes we need
this shape shifting in order to adapt
to the growth of our business or we want to expand and then we need
to do new changes. And the other way of
shape-shifting is a magical, it's a spiritual, it's
more connected on it. If the Merrill level, it's connecting through the shape-shifting in the way of
mystical or shape-shifting, which doesn't happen often. But I've seen people who
are very good at it. And they know their powers and they use them in
order to connect with people. So I'm inviting you
to create an art, experiment and create a path, create a new vision, a path that will connect
you to your clients. It could be path, it could be breach. But how does this
connection looks like? How does the expansion looks? Is it the creativity? Is it a shape shifting or
is it authentic connection? But what is your bridge
to your clients? What is your path? Have fun, enjoy. And this part of our business
plan writing will be your strategic marketing plan in your business plan that you can present to the bunks
or your investors. So the difference
between a marketing in a classic business plan and the connection vision in here. Is this vision really
connected to you personally, really connected to your heart, to the heart of your business as well from a previous session. So it's much easier
to follow it. And it's bringing health
and well-being to you and people around
you who enjoy it. And I'll see you in
the next session.
7. Wisdom: Put Your Smart Cap On: Hello and welcome to
accelerate business plan, this session called wisdom. And the reason why
I call it wisdom is because during our live, during life cycle of a business, there is a moment comes when we actually start
collecting our harvest. At that time, we all ready, grew, expanded its
mature business. And we need to reflect
on what was happening, how we were doing it. And the reflection. The understanding of the
process develops the wisdom, the business wisdom develops this vision for holistic growth. **, how do we do that? I recognize three ways
of obtaining the wisdom. The one way is you look
in a crystal ball, the magical cards that
tell you the future. And this is the element of wisdom where you rely
on your intuition, you rely on your
gut feeling, right? The other way of being wise is maybe based on
your experience. Like when grandma cooks dinner, she does what she cooked and she knows exactly the soup
needs more salt or pepper. And that's an
experience, you know, from seeing are doing
it. What is missing? The third way of wisdom
or discernment is using tools that help you to
navigate in your journey. When you travel and you take
a map, you take Campus, you take measuring tools
to measure your map. And those tools help
you to direct you, help you to navigate. In our business. We can use all three of those. We can use our gut feeling, we can use our intuition, our experience, and
we can use tools. Tools would include use of accountants expertise,
lawyers, financial advisors. May be another business owner who's more experienced
than yourself. But it's acquiring
the knowledge. And in this session, I will invite you
to find your way of seeing the results scene. The harvest. How do you approach that you
find in your own approach? But before we go into art, I would like you to also, I'm inviting you to hear
a little fairy tale. And the reason why I want to go in that direction is that besides the wisdom discernment, business tools that
you will need, I want to give you
another vision, another tool that's
called economical value. Economical value is not. I'm included in the
classic business plans. And I believe by allowing
us to see more than just the numbers that are
in the budget and seeing the economical value in which includes your
personal success, your personal health
will give you a better understanding
of sustainability. So the fairy tale
will take only 1 min. It's very fast. And after that, we will go in data visualization
and art-making. So once upon a time, there was a woman who had
to fetch water daily. Everyday. She would
walk with two buckets on her shoulders down down
the hill to the river. And then she would fill up their buckets and then she
has to carry those buckets up the hill and they're
heavy and shear triads up the hill every morning
and carries the water. The buckets are so old and
worn out that one bucket is leaking completely on the way and all the
water disappears. And that happens
daily and it repeats. One time the bucket that leaks. Couldn't stand it anymore. And it talks to the
woman and says, You carry me every day. You fetch the water and walk
so hard, climbing the hill, carrying it to your house, but it looked all
leaks out and there is no water there and throw me
away and get the new bucket. And the woman turns around
and says Audio bucket, thank you for looking after
me and being concerned. But if you turn around
and look at our path C, one side where the
water is not leaking, it's all dry but you let him
go of the drops of water. It's all covered in flowers. So understanding the
economical value, understanding what we're
giving now for our goals, understanding of
what we let him be for reaching the sales or region profit is very important. Seeing the health
of your family, seen the health of
the community is as vital and in the long term, beneficial for your
business as the prophet or a sales for you. I'm inviting to see your wisdom through
art and creativity. And I would like you to see the picture of economical value. How does it look in your art? Whether you create
what fruit you harvest and maybe look at it
as creating the food that is beyond just
your business. What would you like to
see in your business? That is not only the
fruit of your business, fruit of your tree, but it's beneficial
for your family and beneficial for
the community. We seen the economical
value of your business. We've seen a bigger
picture and that's bigger picture create
the holistic vision, creates the
sustainability for you. It's a different perspective. So have fun. Enjoy. Maybe start with
division in our mature plant, mature tree or garden
or whatever you grow in and see what is
there around you. How do you visualize it? What is beyond just fruit? And also in this session, we recognize what is missing, what tools you missing? Or maybe you need to approach somebody
like your grandmother who has more experience. In this session, we've seen, how do we become wise? Enjoy your art. And particularly if we were talking about a
classic business plan, this is the moment
where we'll write our budgets for the
next five years. If you need any support in
that area, please let me know. But for you, besides
the budgets, I want to teach you how
to create sustainability. So enjoy, have fun, and see you in the next session.
8. Succession: See Your Future: Hello and welcome to four
dx of a business plan. This is our last session and we're going to
talk about succession. In this session. We're going to solidify our whole plan by bringing
in the long term vision. Usually business plans, they end on the previous session
where we create the budget. We create analysis
of our enterprise, put numbers together,
bring tools, and this is the end. I believe that business
plan and the business grows cannot be complete if we don't see the
full picture again. We started with giving gratitude
to previous generation when becoming ancestors
for the next-generation, usually, you need to
prepare for it as well. And nothing better
than preparing it from the start by creating
structures in your business from day
one that will help you to pass it on to somebody
else who can manage it, who can grow it in the future
where you can easily exit. How instructions like
this also help you to increase your good
will in the future. There are three ways of
exiting your business. One is Selinunte, second one is parsing it to next-generation
as I inheritance. And the third one,
closing the doors and the colon, the day. Whatever you choose,
it's totally okay. It's fine. And it depends on your
situation and totally up to you or the life
that's happens to us. But prepare it for
it from day one will help you to in
that moment as well. So I'm inviting you to take your art supplies again and look at your FAR for future through your creativity
and imagination. What is your dream about? What are you thinking about when you're thinking
about long term? Who would you like to see under your tree in your garden
that you created? Who would you like
to pass it on? Is there anyone else
who wants to come to that land that you developed? The other thing I
wanted to bring your attention to the
fuller picture again, to the holistic view, sustainable view is that the
business never is linear. You can see the graphics. It's a spiral. As anything that is alive, it can tracks and expands. So I hope that
this new vision of a business will create prosperity not only
for your business, for you as an individual, but for many generations to
come and your community. I hope that this
new vision we can pass together to new-generation. Because sustainability
and holistic grows. Going to help not only
you as a business owner, but it will create health for
all of us as a community. I hope you enjoyed bring your
creativity witty forward. Enjoy what you see
in the long term. And I hope to hear from you. Thank you so much.
