Or you are ready to level up your communication skills. I hope so because today we're checking into a very practical topic, Dealing with Hotel Issues and Making Special Requests. It's going to be really useful, especially when you want your stay to be just perfect. We're going to explore some practical dialogues together. Role-playing, different situations you might face when you are staying in a Hotel. I'll say a line and then there'll be a pause for you to practice your part. Don't worry. All the phases will be shown on the screen so you can read and practice. Let's start with some useful expressions. So let's kick off with our first, this situation. First situation, having a problem with your reservation. You might say, there seems to be a problem with my reservation. Why don't you try this expression? Good job. Let's move on. What if your room is too noisy? You could say, can I request a room change? This one is too noisy. Now you try. Well done. Next, let's say the air conditioning in your room, in your room isn't working. You could say, I've noticed that the air conditioning isn't working. Your turn. Awesome. Now, if you're room needs a bit of a tidy, you could say, could you please send someone to clean the room? Let's hear you say it. Great. You're doing so well. Keep it up. We're halfway through. Now. Suppose you have an unexpected guests and you need an extra bit. You can ask, I'll need an extra beds in the room. Please. Give it a try. Perfect. I'm going to read a few dialogues that illustrate these expressions in various life, real-life situations. This will give you a better understanding of how to use them when you Travel. So let's dive in, shall we? The first expression there, since there seems to be a problem with my reservation. Here goes the first dialogue. Hello, I have a reservation under the name John Smith. I'm sorry. I don't see your name on the list. There seems to be a problem with my reservation. Could you please double-check? Now dialogues number two. Excuse me. But my reservation was supposed to include breakfast. Oh, I see your reservation, but it doesn't include breakfast. There seems to be a problem with my reservation. I definitely book the option with breakfast. Dialogue number three. I've just checked into my room, but it appears to be a single room. Yes. Your reservation is for a single room? There seems to be a problem with my reservation. I booked a double room. Excellent, excellent job listening. Now we're going to make this even more FUN and interactive. It's time for roleplay. This is your chance to put what you've learned into practice. I'll be playing one role and you, my fellow travelers will play the other. Remember the key is to practice. Our first expression is, where is the check-in desk for? This will help you find where to check in for your flight. Easy, right? Next up we have which gate is my flight departing from? This phrase is crucial to make sure your flight. Then we have can I have a window seat, please? Or can I have an ILC, please? A very handy expression when you're checking in and want a specific seat. Is this flight direct or do I have a layover? This phrase will clarify whether Your Journey is straight to the destination or if you have a stop along the way. Our next expression is, where's the baggage claim area? This is where you'll go to pick up your luggage after landing. Next is my luggage is missing. Why should I do? Hopefully you'll never need to use this one, but it's important to know just in case. Lastly, we have, can I carry this in my hand luggage? This phrase will help you understand what items you can carry on the plane with you. Now, now that we've learned these expressions, Let's put them to use. I'm going to read out some dialogues and I'd like you to listen carefully and follow along. The first expression. Where is the check-in desk for dialogue? Number one? Excuse me, where's the check-in desk for Delta Airlines? It's located in terminal. To just follow the science. Dialog number two, I seem to be lost. Where's the check-in desk for American Airlines? No problem. It's in terminal one near inches eight. Alright. Now it's time for roleplay. You know the drill. Dialogues. Number one. Go ahead. It's located in terminal to just follow the signs. Dialogues. Number two. No problem. It's in terminal one near anxious. A great job. Let's go to the second expression. Which gate is my flight departing from? Dialogues? Number one. Hi, can you tell me which gate my flight to London is departing from? Let me check. That would be gate beat 12. Dialogue Number two. This is a polite way to ask for Directions. Number two, what time is the last train useful when you're out late and need to know when's the last services. Number three. Does this boss go-to or it does this train go to? Perfect for confirming your route. Number four. How much does the fair necessity to know how much you'll be paying for your trip. Number five, do I need to change lines to get to? This will help you understand if you need to switch buses or trains. Number six, I buy a ticket on the bus or train or do I need to buy it beforehand? Essential for knowing the ticketing process. Number seven, is there a subway map I can take a look at. It will guide you on your subway journey. Now that we've got our expressions down, let's put them into context. I'll read out some dialogues First and you can follow along with the script on the screen. Alright. Let's start with the first expression. Could you tell me the way to the nearest bus station?
