1. Introduction to Handbuilt Pottery: Hello and welcome to my course titled Handbill Portrait Techniques and Projects. I'm so happy you are here. My name is Mandara, a fine artist. Earn a sculptor. I'll be leaving you through this course. If you're wondering if this is the right course for you here, some information that will help. I've designed the scores in such a way that first you will learn the four basic techniques offhand building and then learn to use these methods to create videos. Some Jackson clay I've used only the simplest of tools so that you don't need to buy anything expensive. This course is just right for you if you want to make various three dimensional objects using your creative imagination, if you want to increase your understanding offically as a sculpture material, if you are interested in animation, sculpture or poetry, if you are a homemaker and want to make creative use off your time or even if you just want to have some creative fun now that you know how this course will help you and who will be teaching it, I invite you to join the scores. Let your creative journey begin 2. Pinch Pot Part 1: welcome to this, like challenge, which I'm going to show you the pinch, part technique off hand building. We're going to make a ball like this first, and then we're going to make a part like this using to such boards on. Let's start doing that. So I will play ball. Andi, I'm going to use my, uh, who comes and these eight fingers for in on the side and four on the side toe. Pinch the plea in between this gap and then I'm also going to turn it along the way so that I get the shape of this boat. Now let's start doing notice that I'm pinching as well s twisting the form are turning the farm. Rather Hamilton taking care that I don't have very different wall thicknesses, which means I'm gonna go. I want to make the ball uniformly tick all over. So I'm feeling that my fingers and adjusting the thickness very where I feel that it is more you notice that there are some cracks developing here on the edge. And I'm not worried about those right now because the place still were, and I can most them without applying any water, right now. But if you feel like the Cleveland you're using is slightly getting more dry and just with your fingers, if you're not able to remove the cracks, then you can. You can apply some water there. Now I want Oh, me this upset if it's uniforms, and that's why Montel banging on the day, but so that I get a uniformed surface here. 3. Pinch Pot Part 2: Okay, So I have this bullet. No, Andi, when I want to make a part like this using this technique, what I want I'm going to do is make one more half horrible like this, and then join them to go. Why I need to do that is because yeah, there is a limit to how much I can increase the burden. Increase the height with my fingers inside. After the wine, the finger start each other and I won't be able to make them. May I use the pinching technique? So that's why I have this another ball of clean make similar one on board. A common mistake which students make wine doing this is that they pressed the ball off play like this and what happens is that they get a instead of a bull. So the idea is who use your fingers like this so that you get the depth of the depth for the bull and you're not making a plate. So I'm being technically again flat. Anything. Let me the top surface and I see that it's very much closed toe the diameter of the uglier book. So what I'm going to do is if I Oh, that's them like this right now, the large stick together because the surface is very smooth. So what I'm going to do? It's cordial, but on both the sites, so that likely I'm not just nicely. Generally, when you do scoring, these are there's a step in which you have to apply either water or slip, which is very, very smoothly will the surfaces before joining. But I'm not doing that because it lease on really very soft how I'm going to press them together and then with my fingers, I'm gonna go, most likely on the boat, the sides, so they're not, you know, it's very good shape. 4. Pinch Pot Part 3: now with a full like this. What I'm using right now is ah, piece off an expired credit card. You can use die so smooth, make the surface smooth. This also fills that gap nicely. Now I want this whole to be done. So what I'm going to do is use my come and president. But while pressing it in, I'm going to make sure that I don't scratch the whole form. Otherwise I'll get up flat thing which I don't want. So I'm gonna go. But it's it here and then turn it and slightly push it in. So then I get a whole without scratching the phone. Why didn't it? A bit. And now I can put one or two fingers in, and also most the joint from inside. So then the joint is perfect. Once that is done, I'm going to take some Klay. And I want this sport whose stand like this. So I'm just happy and on the floor on the table so that I get up flat surface here. Otherwise it truth simply roll off. I don't want that to happen, So I'm taking some clay and making a role on going toe and touch it here. What I'll be doing is and be pushing some clean down on pulling some clear down, rotating on, discrediting at the same time so that I get some sleep. I can put some clear down and pull some cleaner put on some clean up. So then I get a perfect joint here. I cut the excess part and this is this form stuff. Top portion off the port. I'm going toe smooth in the opening with my finger and you can finish this kind of support nicely, vit. I'm playing by playing some water and cool like this. But the basic idea is off. This lecture wants to show you that technique which is called pinch Part pick me. Which means you pinch the claim between your fingers to make the phone even before the oh Potter's wheel was invented. This this is the matter in which people usedto make the parts. Who is the very basic technique? That's it for this lecture 5. Coil Construction Part 1: welcome to this lecture in which I'm going to show you the going construction metal to start with, we take some clean on, rule it on the table. Basically, what we are making is a coin using which we can build a various things. Notice that I am ruling the clay only with my palm on, not with my fingers, because if I use my fingers, then the clear tends to get the depression between the gap where the fingers are. So when you're rolling the cling, rule it, roll it from here to here. So then you get up oil, which is very smooth. So as the current construction methods suggest, what we do is we'll be making a part like this using the coy. So we start making ruling the coin. And this is the kind of for ship or the signs of the Sheena signs of the bottom part off the board. So after this, I'm goingto take though going slightly upwards, and I'd be merging this clean down on the bass part off though port so again, when I told it, I just mean more the more some part of the plea don't on the port although oil which is there just below it. So what I'm doing is pushing some play with my come so that it The coin with change which is on top, sticks to the coin which is on the bottom. Nor does that door. I'm urging the clay from inside. I'm keeping the difference or differentiation intact from the outside so that when you see the part from outside, you will see this differentiation some again not to make a coin rule the clean. Okay, In the beginning, you can try making the coins very uniform or you can even make the coils beforehand and then start building the port on. You can even made in the same thickness off the oil from one to another. But as you growing experience, what group do is you can choose different thickness coins. You can make one ticker than other. And then even you can air some labels inside between the coins to give it a different picture. So again, going to start today left off. Okay, I'm again continuing pushing down the Klay. And now here I want to add some born of place so that I get a different picture from outside. I'm just adding this ball here, and I'm gonna go wrap the coin on top of it and show you how it looks from the exterior. See how it goes. You can go on building. 6. Coil Construction Part 2: this part in the top and you can ended with either one big hole or you can have multiple small, both depending on. For example, you can make this as a floor poor. And if we want to keep just one floor in it, you can make the top very small with this more opening so that you can just put one one flower here on that and then even then it looks good. If you make the mouth wider, then you can put more more flowers in that. So basically, this is one more technique. Build anything that you want. You could even build a part like this using this method. What you do is go on adding coil till this point and then instead of keeping the differentiation intact, you can worse the exterior so that you get a part like this. So this is just one V off building with hand building with going handling with clean. So I'm going to add one more layer off coin and then one more go. I'm not burying the thickness, or I'm not being special attention The thickness of the coin. I'm just doing it approximately. But once you get the hang up this maker, you can try different thicknesses in the same part on you will get up different feel for that part. So I'm again putting one more clean ball here, and I'd be What I'm doing is I want to bring the are, make the opening narrow so that I'm going. When I put the coin, I'm goingto bring it slightly in like this so that the opening becomes narrower and narrower. With each layer off the coin, the opening will go on, reducing insights. So get this kind of support just to finish it off. I'll make one small boy. And then the care which you have to take is to make sure that the the coins stick to each other very nicely. Otherwise, when they dry, they can't do Lou become loose and they come off. So right now, what I'm doing is I'm just pushing the plea in Goa and use the size of the opening, and that's it 7. Slab Construction Part 1: welcome to the lecture in which I'm going to show you the slap construction matter off hand building with play. So I have some clay here. I've placed a plastic bag on the table on. I also have wooden batons off same thickness. I'll tell you how. Why those are the corner of the same thickness and we'll be making a slab from this clean. So you can use either a big rolling pin total out this light display into Islam. Or you can use any round object, which is hard enough. Toe press, Stickley. So I'm placing these two batons here, and I'm using this pipe. Go make the slam out of this place. So noticed that because of these two batons, I'm getting uniformed birth for the clean. Okay, you go on making the slab like this, and depending on the size off the object that you want to make, you make a bigger, bigger slam on show. You are the next steps with the slam, which I'm already made. So I have this lab really here for showing it to you. Once you have rolled out the cleaning, the next step is to make the surface smooth with a two legged this you can use a rib or any full which had a smooth surface. I'm using up expired credit card. To do that, you should smoothing out the or make the surface moved on both the sides because then it the surface is also gets compressed and the slab gets some additional strength. Now, we'll be making up small flower waas from this clean. So what I've done is I've cut a template from, ah, thick paper. You can also use ah cardboard sheet for that. And I'm going toe cut pieces out of this. Yeah. 8. Scooping Technique Part 1: well, come to this lecture in which I'm going to show you how to make a box. Although this lumber plane, it's I made it permanent, purposely off rectangular shape. And what I'd be doing now is cutting it with a piece of wire you can even use. Ah, strong thread. So I have made it on very off. Do not very smooth finish. I've seen to it that it doesn't have big depressions. Are, um the surface is nobody very uneven. Finally, I'm going to do something sitting on this. So I'm not so much worried about the living up sandals, you know? So I'm placing it in a lot, and then I'll vamp it at all. And now I want to imprint the picture of this cloth on the clean. So I'm using this roller to press it evenly. So there the picture comes out, the clock dresses in, and then I get the picture onto the clay block. I just done it. I'm not pressing the roller who heavily otherwise that claim I get displaced and then from some claim, plump softly on the other side. So I'm just basing it. Didn't you could use any. He's have clawed our found object. Give picture to this clay block. The reason you need to have the clean block fairly flat is because if you are going to clear some textually like this, wherever there is a depression, the picture won't come out nicely. So now I have done that. A killing on all the four sides. Now I come to this sign. I don't not worried about the plot forming any wrinkles and those getting arrested because whatever kind of texture it gives it will be. It will look a tractor in one. It's not. I'm not intending to have a very unique contradiction. So that's, uh, on. I have trouble for creating that, except I'm removing the plot now on. Do you can see the deck salvage it has deceived. You can even press slightly more heavier and then get the texture, which is people. So now I'm going to cut the top portion. See, I want to cut it from here so that I can meet this part into the live on this part in the actual containing part off the block. So it's ah, it's nice to have the wire, which is very thin because it doesn't create any, doesn't create a big gap in between. That's right at red is even. Ah, trade will also do. Andi, It also should be in a straight line while which is in color like this are twisted, like this one. Give you us. Nice cut. So what I'm doing it are doing now is placing it here. And then I'm turning the block on. Hold this hand very in the same position, and then I'll start pulling it with this hand. Andi, I put it on on the sites, and now I can remove the stop. Parker, you can see that because the wire cut the block in this fashion. I'm getting this unevenness, but I'm not interested in a very geometrically perfect shape. So I'm not worried about that happening. Actually, that would be a good thing. It will prevent the little from slipping off, so you may want to do it intentionally. Now I'm using ah, wire tool, which I made myself. You can use various vitals which are available in the market, or I'm just I just warned this loop off the wire and this is the handle part of it. I'm just holding it here. And then I'm going to scoop out the clay from here. You have to take care not to go to the edges to start with, because that will make the edge going or little bulge out. So I'm starting in from the center and slowly going towards that. It just 9. Slab Construction Part 2: So I keep it here on I use a knife or you can use a pin pool toe cut this land. So, like this, I got the slam. Yeah, notice that I removed a plastic bank back from the table. Otherwise I would have cut the plastic bag also along with the clean. So now I have this one side off the port already. In fact, I have wanted he made some on the science off the port. Ready? So I have this four sides. I'll tell you why. These tools, like two sides, are small. But first, how to make the base after how to make the base off the floorboard. So once you have cut like this, you place the template like this and also give up card like this to make this get this bottom off. The now why we have cut this into even smaller birth is because if we go on assembling these into a Ford, then what happens is that more to get either rectangle instead off square. So to reduce that, we have to reduce the went off this to place. So that's what I did for these two place on and how much you have to cut off from this two is equal to the width of the slam. So depending on how much vert euro or thickness your Islam has, you have to cut, uh, cut off force, unequal toe duvets. Okay, so this much you have to cut off so that you get a slab, which is off this week. Okay, so that is what I wanted done. And these labs are ready for making the port. 10. Slab Construction Part 3: Okay, Now that we have these alone slabs already, I'm gonna go start assembling these one by one. So, first thing, what we'll be doing is assembling these two slabs like this and this, and then we'll be putting this lime on top. Okay, So for doing that, I'll be scoring this. The area where these two slabs will be touching each other. So there they are. They get fixed nicely, and the clay sticks together. So I'm going to score it like this. You can use a wire to are any tool to meet the surface it off. That's what scoring is all about. So I'm even scoring this side and four point construction. The clay needs are for assembling in the current construction. Mother, that play has to be slightly dryer or the way it is called leather hard. So there it can hold. If this wasco been in wouldn't have acted like this, I can handle it easily. So now that we have schooled in, I'm applying some water, you can apply slip also instead of mortar. And then I'm fixing this once lab on double dollar. I'm just gently press single. No, I'll be scoring this under slam, blind some water and then also pressing this gently on top, who slept. And now what we do is we That's the base first. Why I am doing the base first is because if I keep the it's just ah bit more easier for the top Most slam to hold on because it gets one more site toe. Hold on. Do so. I'm attaching escorting this. I will also be scoring this park. All these sites applying some water. Yeah, on this saves also on. Then I'm be pressing. This lab engaged all these three. Okay. Now I can flip it over and then assembled the fourth slam. It will be attaching the slams like this I need to see or these areas. 11. Slab Construction Part 4: and also on these stairs. Someone did again. And then I'll breast this against on these three. Okay, Now you can go on and make it smooth on these sites. You have to take care than when you are trying to make its move from outside your own. You're not disturbing the construction off the point. That's why I'm trying to hold on or give it support with my one finger. If the If you want to fill the gaps, then you can take a small, make a small love quite and sit on Buddha Gap. You can use our oil from inside of the port. Also, that will give additional support to the body from inside. So now I can go on and remove the excess clip excess clean on Also in the process smoke. So then the sad place. 12. Slab Construction Part 5: okay, you will have to make on the surface is smooth. As I told you, you can also attach a coin inside the park. But this part being too small I get my hand. Kenner, reach the bottom off the for. And that's why I applied the point from outside first. Okay, you can do with food or go start an extent to which you are finger can go in on that will give Supported the part from inside and you breast the Boylan on both the sides so they're holds on. So go on making the surface moved from home. Say, and you get the part which we made using the coin construction method. Now this Isa very simple park. But you can use the same technique to build videos, different forms like I didn't this one this is ah, paper towel holder in the shape of a rooster. So I first made these two made a slam, then cut two shapes like this, Then cut a shape which is off, which is which will hold them together in this part. And then I made a slip here and also got us shape off a shape as on the head off the rooster. And then who stated in the Gap, featured creator and fixed it. And that makes up shaped like this. So the oil construction matter is the third matter which is which I showed you. 13. Scooping Technique Part 2: Now you can see that I've scooped out, not clear from here. And when I want to finished the ball from inside, I give it support from outside with my other hand on lightly pulled a clip from here. Otherwise, if I push too hard, this clean on this mall will bulge out now you can, if you are a little is also very thick, Then you can all just scoop out some clear from here so that it will not be so heavy. Keep it cured. And then school counselor didn't bend in my head. I'm also making sure that I don't go near the edges. And though I'm showing are rectangular shape box right now you can make you can use this technique to create any shape off upon a lot of balls. Basically want one of the intentions off. Having this lecture is to show you how you can school portly and then make use of that. You create something. So now I can fix this lid on top, make sure that you're not disturbing the walls too much. And this portion is from this side. Okay, so that this is how it will look. But I also warn. See, this line, which was formed unintentionally, is also serving so that the Linda don't follow. So now if that's not the case, or you didn't intentionally keep any depressions or you can do is say simply on Mick Coyne and then place that coin inside the lid here, just inside where the inside off the wall thickness, and then you can. But I said in with your finger, make sure that you're not You're not coming on the wall thickness. Otherwise, this will touch the bottom part and then the little not fixed probably Oh on. And this is weird you fixed under part. 14. Scooping Technique Part 3: So now I fixed pieces off coin on both the sites of the lids on and you may use. You may use some water tow. Give the inside of the port inside of the box of smooth, finish same way here, and then you can place the lead and that makes sure that the little doesn't follow. You can pull it like this. So this is ah box, which we made by using scooping technique on cutting technique, cutting you can for cutting. You can use any threat or a wire. And for scooping, you can use any wired with which you can make at home organ by in the storm. Thank you. 15. Sculpting Hare Part 1: Well, come to this lecture in which I'm going to show you how to make a hair. I won't. I have some clean now, and I'm pressing it. Give it the shape off the body off the head. So I want this to be the underbelly off the head, and this is going to with the back. See that? It's I wanted to slow down more on this side than on the side on Be earning a tale here on I want the thickness, Toby. Lesser than the height. Okay. I want the tickets, Toby. Lesser than the high doctor here. So I might add some plea here, just near the belly on both the saints. And I'm using my credit card. Give it some small movements. Okay? I have this body off the head. Really? Now I'll be keeping it here like this. See that? It's tapering on the same day. Putting also on this side is the back on the belly is wide here. Okay? No. And the adding, I'm off course not showing. L anatomically correct here. So this is a simplified version of time. Now, I would be making the four lengths, but before that, let me make the head. I want also the head on sort of paper in front, but it's not pointed in the what. It's not pointed. It's blunt. And then on this is where it will attach the boarding. So for attaching it to the body more than who is and extend some clay here like this on and I mean this service revolver and then play secure. And then Moore's disclaimed that. Okay, I know I on someone, some playing from the head onto the body. I'm going to remember that I'm not a making on anatomically correct here. This is a simplified virgin off the animal. Okay, I have this attached. No. Now I want to make the legs, so I'm making a run off early, and I want that I want to attach boot the front legs in one group. So what I've done is make Miller you off the clean flick coin. I'd be pressing it on. See how long it needs to be 16. Sculpting Hare Part 2: attached the front legs. Andi. Now I'd be attaching the hind legs again. There is a small difference between the hind legs and front links. And w cordoza. I'm having the coin like this on the cutting. It very warmed up. Other hand, like in and breast this going in. So then it gets much okay from the site. The legs will look like this and the hind place have their fights coming up here so that I'm going to air some plea here and here. So that the highs I've seen? Probably. So I'll take simply Andi Bigger didn't go circular shape and place it here. And then I moved much this Make the time. I'm going to march this side this way. But I'm not going to Margit completely here because I want the differentiation off the hi muscle shown there on merging this here. Andi making my things a little bit and was in some water on a red finger. Go make said Chris moved on. I want that different station to be seen till here. Only on after that I'm merging it so that it shoes Hlinka. It looks like a though this is a time said. And this is the lower leg. Okay? Similarly, I will be our tinkly on this side also who make the time. Okay, Now I'm going to Aaron, though pain. And for that I'm really rolling plea in my hand on we have been fixing this year and the extra part on be merging below though belly So when I see from science and will look like this, I will I want to reduce this effort because I don't want it to look like the tail off squiggle. So I've reduced this. So I wanted to be very sharp. And now we're preparing so long Years so far, there on we creating do such shapes. Hey, putting it both ends. But this is slightly blunt. Then this part this sign. I want both these to be uniform off uniform Lynton proportion. So cutting it here thinking didn't shaping up. They won't be 100% equal, but there fairly equal No. So what we're doing is I'll be attaching their this year on the head like this on march this end and leave it like this months this year on the side. And then I'll be pressing these together by doing So you are giving support to eat there, giving support to each other on I'm pressing the years more in the middle, then at the tips because and in the middle there are wider than at the ends. So that is what you get when you and as the U S. Like that. You can even create some depression here by pressing your tongue just to give it more shape . More like up. You're similarly on this side. So when I didn't want, I crossed, pressed my finger here and then pull my finger ordered so that gave me the shape. Which is it was required on No. What I what's the meaning? He's the mult and eyes using any cracks, and he should use some water. Okay. And I went Dutch who eyes. I mean, I want them to be off same size, but anyway says this so hair is not anatomically correct. I'm going to make the I slightly bigger insides. So this is the one I on this side and this is the I under on the same. Okay, on give you give it. No, just my breath ing this credit card like this. Okay? I am not giving it any discuss because we played there, who tend to make from make use inkley. But you can. That's something if you want. So that's the hair. Meet your handing me. That's it for this lecture. 17. Sculpting Tortoise Part 1: in this lecture, I'm going to show you how to make our dog toys. So I have a big and simply on, and I'll be using the pinch part technique or pinch it with my fingers between my fingers like this. Okay. I'm, uh since I want the edges to be smooth, I'm blessed on fabric on people like this on also, see that Because I'll be creating the picture here. I want the surface to be smooth. So I use my credit card. Oh, make the make this started. But he smoke the clock so that it won't stick to the table. Andi, I'm using my finger now. Or rather the time now. Even more smooth. Smooth the surface. Okay, I keep this fight now I want and take some more quickly and make point from that. It's who the school is now fairly uniform. Uniformly tick. So what I want is, uh, just remove some Barnevik I want Ah, I'm no this long A shape. So I've got it here. One and then I warned other off the same land. You can use my credit card. Nalls and I want the 3rd 1 to be also off slightly longer dimensions of credit. Here I want to and rule this. Give it a a college or deeper and you know I inward this and I keep the these two coins like this across each other. And then the last one like this do because I rolled it on the length has gone, become too much and just dreamed this up. And this and then my finger I'm giving him they put in Andi also make all these ends blind . And these four I live in press between my fingers to give them up Make them slightly wide on the in because those will beat up legs on the roadways On this will be the head on This would be the day will come off now I'm going to press it in here. It might come like this And also make sure that these legs also touched the beans part are the bold which we return me Okay, now when I turn it on milliner, you can see the door, boys. Now I can decorate the shell. Ah, and for that I'm using Ah bet clock on tell you why the cloth? It's necessary if I make some markings directly with a cool are labeling this some clay tends to come out and then picture doesn't become very nice. So I don't want act lead, you come out. So I'm just keeping away blood on this. And then I'm gonna do see that the cloth is nicely touching the surface all over, and I'm using this Clear. This end is not shops. I'm going to use this. And first I'm going to draw so good here. 18. Sculpting Tortoise Part 2: okay, I have the a circle drawn, and now I'm going to draw existence on the back up the door toys. So my 1st 2 lines on this completes my first accident. Then I'm going to just go on adding Hagelin's and dissent with that, and I'm going to do this. Still, the lines meet at the second picture drawn. Different door prizes have different picture on their back, but I have taken No. Seven just so that it looks so you can see the different ordinance or see their programs. Andi, then tryingto near the tech service they have. 19. Sculpting Tortoise Part 3: so completed making the months the examine impression. So let me remove the blood now and you can see their diction on. This is how the daughter is looks no, began air some it will make its eyes or I mean more to make the head slightly because I'm adding some play here and I wondered or nice to look up. I'm earning one. I own the same. A simple label on one more here on this side and with me are the line here or the mold, and that's our boundaries looking at us. 20. Textured Pot Part 1: Welcome to this lecture in which I'm going to show you apart to make a part like this. You can see there is some interesting picture on it on. I made it using the slab technique. So I have a slab which is already have prepared. And now it will be cutting it in cutting it performed up rectangle which are required to make the I want. So I take a woman ruler and I'm cutting a shape, which I'll be using to make this part bu making a part which is slightly smaller than this . The carts on this is 1/3 1 which will So I can. This site is already carts or don't have to worry about that. So this is this land which I have. No, Just keep this lab away. Okay? So I will be fording pickling this on before I do that I need to kind of Louisville people . Is that this will help me in joining the who ends. When I make up people like this year, I can I have you make a counter, we will on this side which will go like this. You can do this building without flipping over the slab. But just for the ease of showing did that. So you can see that this clay is not too soft on its I can can hold on hold it like this one and keep it so it should be this phone and not go dry or not proven. Let me smooth. Make the edges move. I'm using a roller if there is. If you think if you don't have a blood you can use your finger or you can put a put a piece of cloth on top of this and then run your finger across. So now I have bigger in it. Only on do what I want to do now is give it some texture. There are different ways you can clear different interesting pictures. So what I'm showing to you now is I'm using a very old clock, and I'm billing it over this, and I also want to make it more interesting so that, uh and not very uniforms. That's the reason why I'm making some wrinkles in the clock. So there are many press overdid. It will create some interesting picture. Okay, I'd be using this roller again. Who pressed the clock in so that includes that picture. You can use any phone object which has some pictures to create the lecture on this place left. You can use a bubble. Graham. You can use our tablecloth, which has some picture you can use an old blocking. This just about anything which you can press on toe. Typically, you can use to create the picture. So now I am ready to remove it and you can see their pictures there. Okay, on Now I use I flip it over and then start joining it. So I want to turn this Since I wanted to kill and output say rolling it this week, this goes in and I ve attaching. No, here. So now since the play is went, I need not I could apply some slip here or some water here just so that the place sticks nicely. If the cleavage you're using is not really soft, you can do some scoring on this and then applying what? Or slip and then join those together. Right now. I'm not doing that because the place nice invent. So what? I want this seem toe be visible when the part is really That's the reason why I will not be for a single with my fingers too much on be holding, giving support to the same from inside and using this roller. Justo, press it so I don't want that seem to completely disappear. But I want the part formally See Lonzo. Okay, so, no, if knows in some, maybe they're two lines were no talent. That's where I'm getting some extra material here, which I'm coming up. Okay. Now I have the cylinder already. Andi, I can make either ah base like this, which I made by using a slab again off same thickness on cutting a size equal do this diameter and then pressing it against this or I can show I'll show you now are different way off, creating though foot part of the park Onda. What we can do is we can clear the triangle lenders on. Bring it in a triangle. A ship now I want let me award this seem water from coming in a corner. That's why I'm see I The seam is here, so I'm creating up drawing a link. This and I'm going in pushing, pushing machine and and so on And seen this size these will be like though this will be though feed on which the part will be standing. Since the clay is weird I did not do any scoring or slipping here. You can if there is some place left here you can take simply on and me this idiot off for schooling. Put some water on both these and then stick this claim when I want. So I like to do. Is all this ruler over the so that I get when more seal seems When working like this, you need to make sure that your hands are free off any brightly other ways. When, after you create extra. And if you have ah, a lot of clean particles on your hand, they tend to damage the surface. So this is what I have now with the part Andi. I can go in and cleared some extraction. Give some extra shape to this part 21. Textured Pot Part 2: as I told you, you need toe. Make your keep your hands clear off any dry Klay, so it's not always possible toe even advisable. Toe. Wash your hands every now and then, So better way is toe wet a plot, and then wipe their hands with that cloth so that you get you can easily get rid of the brightly and even after you have done the work with likely if you will need when you need to get your hands clean before you before going and directly watching them under the tap. What even do is use the same red cloth and then wipe your hands up. And then we want to say one mortar. Okay, now coming back to the spot. Now we can see that this more has fairly street just because we started with the cylinder. But if I want to give it some interesting shape, I can also push the play from inside. Give it more bulging. Appears so by that what I mean is on. Just wet my finger and then support the part from outside. Just where I'm pressing from in are pulling from insane and then go on pulling the so then I get the bullet. I am sure you will not be able to see the bulge right now. But once I complete doing that, I am sure your how it goes when you are pushing against the same, which is here. You need to be very careful that the seam does not come out. Andi still you're getting the right shape. Okay? Now you can see that it's some bullets here. Okay? Depending on what you want to make out of this part, you can make the bodies on different portions off the port. I just wanted not to look like, ah, spread form that I'm giving it a slight budge. Okay, Now I want to make something which can close this part off. It's like a little So what? I want to be used in the ball of clay and I'll be using the pinch part technique to create the little 22. Textured Pot Part 3: Okay, so I have, uh, made this bull sort of a thing, which I want to use as a little for this spot. So now if I I want this live, not come off easily, I need to do something which will prevent it from coming up. So what I'm doing is I weren't doing is and be cutting off some part off this a slab again . There's no it's not a problem. If this get Scott cut in the wrong. Maybe because I'll be using a upside down. So what I want to happen is I won't go mink. Some feature here which will prevent apart, apart, so live from coming off. So what I'm doing right now is calling the inside and I want to be scoring the service off this slab. I'll apply some sleep plain mortar, just to make sure it is big. And then I'll be fixing it just about the rim. I just warned this, too. I remain slightly about the level off the board top portion of the board, just protects it against the one and cut off the extra. He's So now I will be fixing it. I with my finger, I'll push the clean in so that this gets fixed onto the what? And also make sure that this joint does not seem really easy. Can again use the roller just toe. Give it some smooth finish and then I can you put this? Let it back on on. This was pretty. Went the little from coming off. As you can see, it's not falling off very easy. You know what? Have you lived it? So now I want to give some handle this. Okay, Warden. So what I do is in Slough. I could have fixed something here, Andi. That acted as the little. I just want to make sure that it's nice. And I'd be making a small coin, which this paper, at both the ends. And and then twist it like this and make up Julia. Anyone make it with my finger? Push this who ends from this side, and then push these toe Honda on, most likely on the outside of the EU so that it won't come off. I'm also making though hedge already smooth and doing the damn club with this. What? I can apply some water and making a smooth give it a smooth finish? No, on the up with sane, I can again give some picture. Do it. Oh, on for that. What I want to do is I have this threat here, which I'm going toe role. Oh, well onto the part. Nobody that I'm using anything which is which can give me texture. It's not something which I had planned earlier and just found this. And I thought, Why not make you this to clear detection and can express this in then easily gone on again Used the roller to express it in. You could give some picture toe, though a little before you and that's the handle. But then when you attach the handle, you be sure that you're not creating problems for the handle. So it's up to you when you want to give a lecture, and now I can take off this, do you on? We have something which is investing to look at and place it over the top of this. And this is how the world looks like. Since I see that there is some gap here. Just roll the roll over this so that that gap gets reduced and then you can take off the nude. If required. We can. I can take off some clear from out from here so that it fits more easily on again. Give it a smooth finish inside. I don't personally like the engineer feel in this clippers, so I don't, uh, generally dig precise measurements and good, but then, if you like that kind of feet, you can do that. So this is what we have. Thank you.
