1. Intro To The Course: Hello everybody and
welcome to the course. Today we're gonna
be talking about the four core pillars of utilizing Redbubble and how to actually make sales on red bowl. So essentially you can
think of this course as red bubble success in
four simple steps. This is an introduction
to the course. And what I want you guys to understand is that
Redbubble is one of those platforms that it's very straight out,
It's very upfront. It's everything is very visible to see what
works and what doesn't. And after this course, without having any sort of experience or knowledge on
Redbubble before or prior, you're going to know exactly
what to do and how to attack Redbubble from a
success standpoint because we're going to
tackle, like I said, those four core tenants
of Redbubble success, if that sounds something
that you're interested in, that's something that you need help in essentially learning. Go ahead and join this course. Let's go ahead and get started. Let's truly understand
what it takes to be successful on red bubble
in four simple steps.
2. Success Tip #1: Okay, so the first step, the first core tenant, is understanding Google and Google's traffic comes from the way you title your product. See, a lot of people can come to your Redbubble products
for different reasons. But what happens
is, is if you have a very specific keyword, google will pick up on that. And when people search for
that specific keyword, you're likely to show up on Google and you're likely
to get sales from Google. See, there are certain designs that we create that gets
traffic from Google. Obviously, there's other designs that don't get
traffic from Google. But in this case, there are certain designs that do
get traffic from Google. I want to go ahead
and show you guys exactly what I mean by that. So if I shirts for tiger
here on Redbubble, let's just go ahead and
give this a minute here. Let's just take a look. What we can see here. There's all these
different options, these all these different kinds of things that's going on here. Now, let's just
go ahead and pick something that's not obtrusive, but something that's very
different than the rest. So let's select this. We have human and Tiger
tribute, classic t-shirt. You got to think how
many T-shirts have this exact word for word, title? The answer is not too many. Let's go ahead and copy this, and we'll just paste this
into Google and let's see if something comes
up and guess what? Here something does
come up indeed, you can see here I
haven't clicked on it, but the actual product with the full title fully comes up. So what I'm trying
to say here is that one of the core tenants of understanding
Redbubble success is understanding that
a word for word, keyword, phrase match on the title leads to more success when it
comes down to Google. And this was just a
perfect example of that. So one of the ways that you
can succeed with gaining red bubbles or to get red bubble traffic is through Google and Google
provides traffic. And so to reverse engineer
that process into fully understand this is that when you create a design on Redbubble, you want your title to be an exact term match to what
people are searching for. So you want to think actively, what can people potentially
be searching for? And that's what you
want your title to be, your exact title to
be on Redbubble. That's core tenant number one.
3. Success Step #2: Okay. So let's go ahead and talk about core tenant number two. And that is tagging
within Red Bull. So whenever you create a design, there are groups of people
who find your design by simply typing in something here in the search and
finding your design. For example, if I search for American flag and wait
for that to pop up, we can see here
that indeed there is an American flag, right? There are images of
the American flag. Let's say select this one. Well, the reason why I selected this one
is because, well, it showed up, it caught my interest and I
decided to click on it. But how did this one pop up? A lot of people get confused
and they think that the word American flag has
to appear in the title, and that's not true at all. The core tenant here is
that the word American flag or American and then flag separately is somewhere
in these tags. And we actually
could see the tag right here, American flag. And that's exactly why
the product pops up. What you're going
to take away from this core tenant is that if you want to succeed on red well, if you want to get some
traffic on Redbubble from the red bubble
search is on your tags, add exactly what words represent
the product so that if somebody decides to search for and they find your product, that they actually would
likely click on it. If I'm searching
for American flag, how likely is it that I want
to see a picture of a goat, for example, the
answer is not likely. I want to see pictures
of only American flags. If you have something that
relates to your design, oh, keyword that
relates to your design. Add that because that's the only keywords that
should be in the tags. And understanding that that's
the second core tenant, you're the strategy
behind how you tag dictates who sees your designs and what keywords that
it's going to pop up for. And if it pops up
for keywords that it just doesn't fit for your
not gonna make any money. And that's one of
the second things. That's the most
important thing when it comes down to red bubble.
4. Success Step #3: Let's talk about the
third core tenant, which is arguably one of the
most important core tenants, which has to do with
your design quality. The core tenant here is not about necessarily
titling or tagging. The third core
tenant, like I said, is your design quality. What makes a person tick? What makes that person click and actually buy your product? We can actually go here for
the keyword American flag, and we can go here and
sort out a best-selling. There are different
groups of products that are the best selling
for whatever reason. But when we search for the
keyword American flag, groups of people believe
that this design, for whatever reason, cells the most and part of it is
because of the way it looks. We can't be neglectful to
the idea that we humans. We judge books by their
covers, the way they look. We judge art by
the way it looks. And so if we want to be
successful on Red Bull, something we have to
understand a core tenant. The fourth the third step
to success is that we need to understand that
the quality of our design, how attractive it looks, has everything to do
with our success. In fact, it is like I said, that third core principle, the reason why
that's important and the reason why that
matters is because if you think about it on
the other side of that computer screen from consumers who are deciding
to buy those products. They're real people. They're not robots,
they're not fake. They're not computers. They're really human
beings and they have real genuine desires and real genuine hate
towards something. And they have preferences and they have dislike
towards things. So if you want to make a sale, you have to make sure that that person on the other side of that computer screen has a genuine desire for
the design style. For example, this design here, in my opinion, is a
unattractive design. It just, it doesn't
fit the mouse pad. It doesn't look good. In my opinion, it's hard to even read what
this says here. To me. It's just it's just almost, it's almost in a way. Just doesn't seem
artistic in nature. It doesn't seem like
somebody who would buy this. And that's my personal opinion. But if, if I if I was
a designer and I'm posting products on Redbubble and I have interest
in posting products. What I have to realize is
that if I want to make money, I can't be posting designs that are simply
unattractive to people. I have to be creating
designs that people are genuinely
interested in. And so with that being said, design quality matters very, very much when it comes
down to making a sale. The person on the other
side of the screen has to have a genuine
desire to buy your product. And that comes from
the way it looks.
5. Success Step #4: Let's go ahead and talk about the last core tenant of success when it comes
down to Redbubble. And that last core tenant is social media marketing,
social media promotion. Now there are different
social medias where you can choose to market
your product. And there are different
ways that you can. But really what social
media marketing is, this is what I call this a cheat code to your Redbubble success. The reason why I say
that is because if you look at the people who
are successful on Redbubble, not all of them started making sales simply
through the search. And when I say
through the search, I'm meaning either
through Google Search, red bubble search. There are other people that utilize Instagram, for example. And let's just go
ahead and go ahead and search for Instagram here. Instagram is pretty,
pretty crazy here you can see here I got 11 follows
36 likes and a new comment. And what the cool thing about Instagram is that
Instagram specifically, It's a very visual platform. You can create a piece of art or even just an image on Instagram
that brings in followers, brings in like sprints and
following now me personally, what I like to do
with Instagrams, I like to use something
called an Instagram automator tool that helps me grow
my Instagram account. And thereby when I grow
my Instagram account, I attract following to the
products that I'm selling, which helps me gain attention
towards those products, which in turn helps
them make money. And so when I say
make money, I mean, that traffic has
been driven from Instagram clicking on my
red my link in my bio, which happens to me,
my Redbubble store, that has to be related to whatever I'm selling
in this case. So if you ever want to make money on Redbubble without necessarily waiting for a sale, you can command a sale, which is, like I said, that last core tenant, utilizing social media by controlling who
is Senior Design, you can control who sees your design by promoting
it to the masses. And the way I do
this is I think, okay, if I want to
sell, for example, a picture or design of a Cross, who would be interested
in across, well, I can think people of
faith, christians, etc. What am I gonna do?
I'm gonna create an Instagram around
that concept. That's something to
be aware of as well. All right, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna go
make a final video to sum up these four core tenants or the four steps to
Redbubble success. Remember guys, that these steps you can't break away from. You can alter them,
you can't change them. This is for everybody, whether you like it or not. The most important thing when it comes down to
Redbubble success. So let's go ahead and
get started with that.
6. A Wrap Up Of The Core Tenants Of Redbubble Success: Okay guys, so for
the very last video, I said I would wrap it up. And what we're gonna
do is we're gonna talk about these four core
tenants one more time, but in a different way. Redbubble in order for you
to get a sale on Redbubble, in order for you to get likes, in order for you
to get orders for you in order you
forget attention. What you need to do is you
need to control the amount of traffic you get.
Does that make sense? And traffic is completely controllable in
different aspects. Sometimes your traffic can come from the Google search
as we demonstrated. Sometimes the traffic
you get can come from the red bubble search
as we demonstrated. Sometimes the traffic
can simply come from social media
as we demonstrated. But at the end of the day, the thing that's going
to make the consumer by is if they have a genuine
desire for your product. So there's two things that's
needed to actually achieve. The sale, which is number one, traffic and number
two, genuine desire. But out of those two things
that create the cell, The two things then
beget or create the four core tenants are the four steps to
Redbubble success. Like I said, the four steps are titling the
product accurately. So you've got
attention from Google, tagging the product properly so that you get attention
from Redbubble. And we discussed how
this is done by simply adding tags that purely
represented the product. The third thing is having a attractive looking design or a design that many people
would deem attractive. Because if it's not attractive, they simply won't buy it. And number four is artificially raising the
amount of traffic you get, the amount of targeted traffic
by using social media. Those are the four
main core tenants of your Redbubble successor
or Redbubble soon.
7. is Social Media Requirement To Gain Redbubble Success?: Now we have one more aspect
that I want everybody to realize when it comes down
to succeeding on Redbubble. And I want you to realize
that utilizing social media, and essentially that's
core tenant number four, is not always required. And I'll explain
what I mean by that, is that in order for
you to get a sale, you don't necessarily
need social media. Somebody can perform a
simple search on Redbubble. Somebody can perform a
simple search on Google. But what happens is, is that a lot of
people with Redbubble, they tend to find that
it takes a little bit long sometimes for
them to get a sale, especially with a platform like Redbubble is it doesn't
happen right away. And it could take
a month, a week. Because if you think about it, the main driver is the search. Whether it be Red bubble
search right here, or whether it be Google search, as we've previously
demonstrated, that these are the two main
drivers in terms of sales. And the problem with
that is that many people believe that they can't succeed without gaining some
sort of attention or controlling the level of attention and getting
a faster, right? And so what happens is
as people might create 20304050 designs their
first month on Redbubble. And they might sit back and say, Well, where's all the sales? And they're expecting
sales their first month. But they're really not
getting them because it's an organic search platform that takes time
to get attention, it takes time to get traffic. But other people, what
they do like me as we utilize social media
to boost it up. And the reason why I'm making this lesson in the video
in the course rather, is to explain that social
media is not a requirement. The glass core tenant is not
a requirement to get sales, but it is just a
artificial booster. That's really what it is. What happens is, is when you get a specific sale within Redbubble
through social medias, your product will start ranking higher within the
search results. So if I search for,
for example, tiger, my product is, let's
say this product, let's just go ahead
and pick this one because I liked
this design here. Let's say this is my product. If I get a bunch of sales, my product is going
to end up here, or here or here. Because what I'm doing
is I'm increasing artificially the
amount of sales I get from outside platforms. And Redbubble actually rewards people who promote the products
outside of Red bubble.
8. How Redbubble Rewards You For Promoting YOur Designs On Social Media: So something that I said in
the last lesson was that red bubble actually
rewards people who create, designs and promote them on, on Instagram and other
social media platforms and promotes them at two, Redbubble promotes
traffic to Redbubble. The way Redbubble actually
does this as they have something called the
featured artist list. You could actually
see it by here. If you search, click
on the search, you can check your,
the top artists. We can click on, for example, illustrated design here, which is one of my
favorite top artists. If we look here, we click on View
artists profile. We can see here it says featured artists and that's
because this person is heavily promoting Redbubble
through Instagram. If you want to increase
your chances of becoming a quote unquote,
featured artist, if you want to be one of
those artists that gain attention from
Redbubble and Redbubble to favor you from that kind of perspective than what you can do is you can promote Redbubble through your designs
on Instagram. And that will give you a chance at gaining success on
Matt kind of level. Now is it a guarantee?
Of course not. Redbubble cannot guarantee
you these things, but what it can do is it
can improve your chances.
