I’m a designer and photographer who has worked with brands such as Ford, Warby Parker, T-Mobile, Dos Equis, and Everlane. I’m known for shooting landscapes and portraits on Instagram. Currently I’m a designer at Tagboard and also shoot weddings with my girlfriend Bethany Olson on weekends. But most days, you can find me working on my Mac or out exploring the city and Washington’s national forests taking photos.
Some tips for other Skillshare teachers is to condense their subject into content that students can process and digest in a easy way. Engaging with students and encouraging them is a big way to be successful. I think the hardest thing I had to do was create the video lessons in a way where students could learn the sections and then be able to apply those skills learned into the project.
I have been able to connect with fans and students in a personal way that inspires them to create some amazing mobile photography. For me personally, this class has impacted how I can give back some knowledge to the Instagram community.
