We are always working on ways to make Skillshare an engaging learning and teaching experience. We've recently pushed out a few updates that will help our teachers, students, and even charities have a better experience with Skillshare.

See what your friends are learning when you're looking for a class

We've added a few little extra nuggets of information that will help you find classes when browsing the site. You'll notice special callouts for classes your friends have or are attending, teachers that have collected a ton of endorsements, and many more. We hope it will help you find the classes you want much easier.

Ask a question

You can now ask a teacher a question about their classes directly, and privately, from the class page. Just click the ask a question button right next to the teacher information and we'll deliver your message to the teacher, they'll be able to directly follow-up with you through email.

Skillshare Scholarships

Skillshare is partnering with amazing organizations, individuals, and brands to bring our students scholarships on select skills around the site. We're excited to have our good friends at Behance provide our first scholarship: $10 on all product design classes.

You can learn more about these classes and our NYC+SF design semester that's going on right now, check them out.

Classes for Charity

Teachers can now officially donate the proceeds of their classes to charity. When browsing a class page look for the blue charity ribbon in the description. This will let you know the teacher plans on donating your enrollment to a good cause. Learning + helping others out, win-win!

Thats all for now!
