Impromptu dance moves, garbled sentences, clumsy accidents—they’re all part of the creative process, and of life in general. But they're elevated to a whole other level when they're caught on camera.

If you've ever watched a good blooper reel (who hasn't?!), you know those unexpected and sometimes embarrassing moments can happen to anyone, and Skillshare teachers are no exception.

And it’s a good thing, too. It just means more entertainment for the rest of us.

Andy J. Pizza

With past clients like Sony, Google, Bloomberg and Converse, illustrator Andy J. Pizza has no shortage of professional experience.

Through his Skillshare classes, such as “Find Your Style: Five Exercises to Unlock Your Creative Identity,” Andy is sharing that experience with thousands of students around the world.

And as his blooper reel shows, Andy is perfectly willing to share his behind-the-scenes blunders too. To be fair, we’re usually just as excited to make it to lunch time.

Denise Bayron

Between knitting, sewing, crocheting and macrame, Denise Bayron’s designing and patternmaking skills are seemingly boundless. And with the help of the class “Sewing Basics: Make Your Own Clothing,” you can start building impressive sewing skill sets of your own.

Denise has another lesser-known skill, though, and that’s turning any sewing project into a silly dance party. Don’t believe us? We’ll let her blooper reel do the talking. Those salsa moves are to die for.

Spencer Falls

A self-proclaimed unlikely florist, Spencer Falls was a lobster fisherman and actor before finding his calling with flowers. On Skillshare, he helps others discover the joy of floristry through his class, “Everyday Flowers: Simple, Stunning Arrangements for Any Occasion.” Armed with scissors, twine and a vase, Spencer is able to make beautiful bouquets look even better.

And if you’re not sure whether a class on floral arrangements can be funny, you only need to watch his bloopers to find out. Who wants water to stay inside their flower vase, anyway?

Danielle Clough

As a photographer, designer, radio host and more, Danielle Clough wears a lot of hats. But as a teacher, it’s her embroidery expertise that takes center stage.

In classes such as “Intermediate Embroidery: Explore Collage, Portraits & Embellishments,” Danielle shows you how to create one-of-a-kind artworks using a needle, cloth and thread.

In her collection of bloopers, Danielle also demonstrates her ability to make silly mistakes, laugh them off and keep creating. Don’t worry, Danielle, everyone forgets to say goodbye at some point or another.

Plant Kween

Some know Christopher Griffin by their given name, but most know them as Plant Kween, the Brooklyn-based plant guru on a mission to spread botanical bliss and help people care for plants like pros. With their Skillshare class “Plants at Home: Uplift Your Spirit & Your Space,” they’re able to do just that.

But if you think tending houseplants is all work and no play, you haven’t seen the Plant Kween’s compilation of bloopers and outtakes. Have you ever heard such a contagious laugh? Yeah, neither have we.

Learning Is Fun, but Teaching Is Too!

If you’ve taken a Skillshare class before, then you know how enjoyable it is to learn a new ability, practice a new hobby and expand your horizons in general.

But as Skillshare teachers’ behind-the-scenes bloopers prove, being an instructor can be just as much of a blast (and just as much of a learning experience) as being a student.

Have skills you want to share with students around the globe? Find out how to teach on Skillshare and get started now. You might just have more fun than you think, and even earn some extra income in the process.

And who knows? Maybe you'll make it onto our next blooper reel!
