At Skillshare, we believe in learning by doing. Making and sharing a class project is the best way to practice your new skills and get helpful feedback from the community.  

This March, we’re launching a special one-month challenge to inspire you to start creating: post a project in any Skillshare class between March 1st and March 31st, and you’ll be eligible to win a free year of Skillshare Membership to fuel your next year of learning!  

How it Works:

  • Watch any class on Skillshare that sparks your curiosity! Then, head to the class’s “Your Project” tab to learn about your project assignment: you’ll find instructions on what to make, along with tips and resources from the teacher (desktop only).
  • Once you’ve created your project, upload it to the class. In addition to your final piece of work, you’re welcome to share progress shots, a description of your process, and any questions or ideas that came up along the way.
  • At the end of the month, the Skillshare team will randomly select 10 students who uploaded a project by the March 31st deadline to receive a free year of Skillshare Membership! Plus, we'll be featuring some of our favorite projects in a blog post and on our Instagram throughout April.
