Connect with other Skillshare users in your industry with our newest feature, Groups.

At Skillshare, we believe that collaboration is the key to success (“share” is in our name, after all). And over the past 6 years, we’ve watched our community grow to over 2.5 million talented students and teachers who are also animation extraordinaires, watercolor wunderkinds, scrappy entrepreneurs, and much more. Now we want to give you the chance to meet and connect with each other by using our new mobile feature, Groups!

Find your people

With groups, you can have the expertise of millions of Skillshare members right at your fingertips. Connect with your career counterpart across the world, gain inside knowledge from experts in your industry, or simply get to know some amazing people — all on your mobile device.

We have 30+ groups already, including:

  • Creative Businesses
  • Illustration Prompts
  • Social Media Strategy
  • New Teachers Support
  • New Product Managers
  • And many more!

Don’t see a group for you? You can request a new group to be added in the app!

Share what matters to you

Once you join a group, you can check out topics you’re interested in and join the conversation. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Start your own discussion!  A topic can be a specific question, a request for feedback — or anything else you want to discuss!

Stay In The Know

Want to respond to a specific comment? Simply @-mention that user and they will get a push notification to their mobile device letting them know you reached out. Make sure you turn your push notifications on so you never miss a message (you can update this by going to Settings > Skillshare > Notifications).

Don’t want to be tied to your desktop? We hear you. That’s why we launched Groups as part of the Skillshare mobile app. Now you can collaborate on the go!

We Want Your Feedback!

This is the first version of groups and we’re looking forward to getting your feedback. Tell us what features you love, hate, or what groups you want next by emailing us at
