Whether you’ve created a video that you want all of your friends to see or you just want to share something that came across your For You Page with your followers on other social media sites, TikTok makes it incredibly easy to share a TikTok video to other channels.

We’ll cover how to share TikTok videos on Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat, but good news: The process is almost identical for all of them.

How to Share a TikTok Video

Wondering how to share a TikTok video with other people on social media? Walk through these super-easy-to-follow steps.

On Facebook

On Instagram

The steps for how to share TikTok videos on Instagram are the same as those for Facebook, except this time when you’re choosing a social media platform to use, you’re going to choose the Instagram or Instagram Stories icon as opposed to the blue Facebook one. Easy enough, right?

On Snapchat

Once again, the steps for how to share TikTok videos on Snapchat are identical to Facebook and Instagram; you’ll just click the Snapchat button within the app as opposed to the other social networks available. That’s it!

How to Repost a Video on TikTok

Lots of users also want to know how to repost a video to TikTok, and that only takes a few steps. Before you do this, however, just remember to give the original creator credit. You’d hate to have your work stolen or reposted without your permission, so do right by others on the platform too.

If you see a video elsewhere that you want to repost on TikTok, you’ll need to download the video and then go into the TikTok app. Simply press the plus-sign button to create a new video, and then click on “Upload” in the bottom-right corner to upload the video. From there, you can crop it, add a voiceover or other sounds, or incorporate any other fun effects you’d like.
