Who are you, really?

Hello, I'm Lyndsey. Personally, I have found the best way to nourish myself and reflect is with alone time and embodied creative study projects, and I’ve tried many different methods from writing, to drawing and painting, to photography and film. As a Therapeutic coach and Therapeutic art guide interested in all things attachment, relationships and emotional regulation, I was late to embrace my love for creative pursuits so take it from me it's never too late!

Belonging and creativity

As a woman, a human, I've often struggled with my own inner sense of quiet and stillness, that somehow that wasn't "enough" and there was more fun to be had "out there", wherever there is, or safety with the acceptance of the other rather than being with and accepting myself.

Being "out there" is ok if that's what a person truly needs. However, often that intensity is a distraction from ourselves, which can also manifest as people pleasing, clinginess, neediness, and other avoidance. So instead of swinging polarities, all out or hiding away, how can we be choosing to be with the other balanced with solitude and self-connectedness? How would that soothe loneliness? What creative wonders will emerge from that beautiful place? What might you create that you haven't already created?
