Dear participants of Animal Inktober,

The decision was very hard for me. I went through all of your works, and I loved them so much! There are over twenty people (maybe even more) that I would like to reward with the prizes! I didn't realize the choice will be so difficult. In the end, I picked people who I remembered working along the way, being engaged, people who experimented somehow and left their safe space during the challenge, and people who I believe could find some real use for the book.

I hope the others have a genuine joy of creating their stunning artworks with the prompt, and that these drawings became their true reward for this challenge.

Please, vote for three semifinalists which are your favorites. Only 3 will get the book Inking Animals and art supplies. I will, however, send a small print with my art as thank you for participating to all the semifinalists. You can vote by naming them in the comments here or commenting on my last IG post. Selecting will be closed on November 7th. Anyone can vote!

@watercolor_my_life truly inspired me while using the monotype technique of printing with India ink and describing the method. I love how she captured the tiger in two ways, the loose one and realistic.

@nicolakimpton created this beautiful series of whimsical illustrations:

@artandcrochet made a series of beautiful watercolor illustrations, where she shows people interacting with animals in a truly romantic way.

@sofia.rguez.art fascinated me by her simplified tiger drawing, but all of her seven pictures were very inspiring.

@craft.mommy painted with her kid, and both of them created the illustrations for the prompt. I truly support kids creating art and crafty things with their parents.

@ellajoycunliffe created grayscale series of illustrations, where I enjoyed theperspective and views.

@lenkanovakova311 got my attention with her Red Riding Hood in watercolors and ink. The mood of this painting is unique.

@meliade.art created a series of soft drawings. I love the idea of wolf interacting with the puppy.

@jewel.sees.art created a series of illustrations in her specific style, in black and white, and that original art voice is something I appreciate.
