For your class project - Choose a painting and paint a project based on a portion of the painting that you chose to replicate as we do in class.

I'd love to see the painting you were inspired by and the painting you created. I'd also love it if you shared a piece of your art you created in your own style, incorporating some Klimt elements.

Supplies used in this class:

I've tried to list most of the supplies I'm using in class, but please, please - use what you have on hand to do your class projects. This class is about observation and learning rather than copying exactly what Klimt or I used. I chose to do my projects in watercolor and acrylics on paper mostly whereas Klimt used oil paints and gold leaf on canvas. I want you to work in whichever medium you prefer on the surfaces you feel most comfortable with.
