I absolutely did not expect to be so drawn into this but wow, it turned out to be absolutely fun, fun, fun!

Well… I should have known… since I am an art rookie who can’t draw to save my life, and so I just love spontaneous expression. This turned out to be a fabulous ‘Dot stamping doodling spree’ that got addictive! I didnt even know I had it in me to do faces… but this little activity turned out so fun, and zero stress. Mine became a female lifecycle…from girl to grandma, haha!

I think what was significant for me is…. as I made these pieces one by one, it triggered ideas in my mind, that I may want to explore. Indeed… it is by doing… that the senses in action activate our brain connections and reward us further.

Who knew that stamping dots on a page could be so liberating and trigger creativity flow…, lol. Well, now I do!

This was my first Vinitha class… I shall be diving in to check out more.

here are my additional dot projects. I spent half of my day off working on this class, but I honestly had fun!

For the floral, each petal is a stack of dots in increasing sizes from front to back, with alternating hue. Moved from the smallest front layer to the back till a pattern showed. The paired stocks is a play on peacock feathers.

Dunno why it suddenly made me think of a ‘couple’ with their hair flying in a happy breeze, lol… so I held them together with a bow. And added the congratulatory text.

The entire piece is just symbolic in my own whimsical creative mind :)
