This was my first time working with soft pastels for an urban sketch, and it turned out to be such a fun experience. I really enjoyed experimenting with the texture and the richness of the colors — soft pastels are wonderful to work with. Since I didn’t have toned paper available, I had to adjust the colors slightly to make them stand out against the background. Even so, it was a great introduction to the medium, and I’m excited to explore it further.
