Hello! Thank you for your comment. So, I did this a while back but I can tell you that all of the art is made in shape layers, Legs and arms are path strokes. I just added the grainny effect to the composition and layers.

The illusion of a turn is just made with match cuts. I recorded myself making the turn to have the reference of the movement. Then I just made the illustration on top of it and try to follow the movement from my reference. Giving a certain time in the animation, just when the silhouette is about to do the turn, you need to make a cut into the position of your layers and change them into a new pose to give the illusion of twist. I hope I can be clear enough :( 

For the head is something smilar, overlaying shapes and animate them following your reference.

I found this tutorial that explains a lot of what I did in this animation. Hope it works for you and hope you I can make myself clear :)
