My first monographic class

My first monographic class - student project

My name is Bianca. I srarteg painting after a long life long to it and when in had a burn out i was lookin for a way to express myself. First tru acrylics, but due illness I can’t work with it anymore.

So I went back to my tru starting medium watercoloring and trying to understand it this time. I must say. I love I know. Yes, one “great” painting can cost you 4 sheets. But it’s meditative. Especially free flow and monochroom.

This is such a fun painting to make. It took me three tries and still it’s not oké, but………. I do love how the grass cutts the two people sitting in the boat apart. The grass in this one in total I do like. The sky is wrong. The big heavy cloud went playing hide and seek, but the smaller clouds, the peacefulness, that also brought to the water. I turned it around, put some rocks in the water and made  water come “rushing” to sides so darker and more wavy.

My first monographic class - image 2 - student projectThis painting is so, so hard!!! And i don’t really understand. They first steps are spot on ever try. But the layering. The thickness of the trees, how many trees, branches, how many branches and where to start with the bushes? Al these questions are mindblowing, madning.

Finally i made the choice to make from the mind, after faling a few times and seeing the video a few times. I got I my zen state and this is the outcome. It was peacefull, fun and without the drying go, because I was free painting again. Yes, not totally what the classproject should be, but this is me and this is what feels right for me. It’s not a payed object or so. I do have a Habets of setting classprojects to own hand, because my creativity has to come out sometimes.

So this is my input. On to the next.

A red/pink lake. Very inviting to a lot of artistic freedom. I loved to make this one. But pink is no way near my favorite girl as a tomboy. Hahahaha. But it was al lot of fun to make and i also learned a few things.

It was almost heartbreaking to paint over the sly. It was so perfect. It was hard to get a strong color, but that could be my paper also. It’s a block that has been open for a while. It’s 300gsm 100% cold pressed rough cotton paper. While training I’m trying to clear out all my old blocks. I don’t have a lot of money, so i can’t say I throw them away and buy new ones.

Oke, I’m hard on myself and i hate this one and i’m disgusted by my own work. It’s wrong ing every way possible. It’s a big failure in the sky, the mist of the mountains, the placing of the mountains and the trees are weird. So please, don’t try to cheer me up. It is seen by an artist and his comment said it all.

Quote:“A lid of 5 could have done beter.

hopefully i willen get back in the flow. I’m not giving up.
