While filming this class I started a new sketchbook as a sample.

The book I chose is a Strathmore Mixed Media Softcover from their 500 series.

This is the swatch page that I created:

I used a new set of gouache paints that I wanted to test out.

I then created a page of some viola flowers with that same paint.

My inspiration for this page is my garden and all the violas growing in it.
