When creating these moth brooches, I mostly picked what I liked in real ones and invented a bit on top.
I thought about transforming them into jewelry and thought a brooch would be most fitting, as the moth can simply be as it, as if it had landed on you.

For me, it's really about picking colors and shapes I like and just go with the flow.
