UX Series: Build an Effective Portfolio

Your current portfolio is lovely. I especially like that each project has a straightforward, brief, and clear description - not too much, not too little. Perfect for someone to scan just prior to an interview and have enough information to ask you more questions about specific projects.  (I interview people quite a bit, which I why I find that particularly important.)

Holly - FYI - I am working on getting the recording from the roundtable to share with class. Some feedback on your current portfolio:<ul><li>For research, I like to see a bit of context: how many participants, description of website or app being tested, and recruiting criteria and test plan if you can share. I would say that for each research item, if you can share a more complete view of the study, that would be very useful. </li> <li>In the third research example, you talk about the focus group being done for the purpose of building personas. Again, sharing personas would be helpful.</li> <li>I like the two cases where you include sketches and a more refined example</li> <li>For the interactive prototype, I would provide something like a dropbox link for the user to actually interact with the prototype. Alternatively, you could create a very short video showing the interactivity. </li> </ul>

I just purchased the class. &nbsp;I wish I could have attended the Bentley round table the other day but with the time difference (I'm in Germany now) it just wasn't feasable.I already have a portfolio and purchased the class in hopes of inspiring myself to update it. &nbsp;I wanted to post it as it exists today to get some feedback first...<a href="http://www.coroflot.com/hmdewolf" rel="nofollow">http://www.coroflot.com/hmdewolf</a>
