These are my creatures for tonight.

 

Using markers to make dot textures is my new favourite thing. This is Grendl. He's not feeling it today...

What started as an eye has turned into a terrifying lampray mouth. Still cool though. You can't see much of the underlying, lighter green texture but I did enjoy layering very much.

Bird type creature with square feathers. Not sure if those are nostrils or eyes. I thought he could benefit from chunky legs. 

And my favourite: rainbow spiral muppet creature. I think it's the feet. They just make me laugh. 

This was super fun, thanks to all involved! 

Oh, and I remember seeing a sketchbook flipthrough from you on Instagram (I think) and I was like "Wow, this actually looks like a sketchbook rather than a selection of finished drawings that happens to be in a book." Thanks for bucking the trend.
