Paint your own still life!

Begin by collecting 3-5 pieces of fruit or a few objects from around the house. Try out each of the techniques with one or two objects—identifying moments or styles that you like—then bring everything together into a single still life. If you find that you prefer one of the techniques over the other, paint the entire still life using that technique. Or, try to mix and match the techniques to create a unique look.
