Hello everyone! Thank you, Jon, for sharing the magic process of block printing.

It is my first linocut experience and it was interesting to go through the printing process from step to step. I'm definitely going to do more.

For my image I took my old drawing of an old Persian wizard carrying a magic bottle.

I worked on it a little to get it more neat and accurate:

I printed it and transferred it to my linoblock with help of soft pencil, like Jon told in his video:

I used a green pen to see the areas that I already transferred:

I coloured the areas I don't want to cut, with a black felt-tip pen:

I think that my image is a bit compilcated for the first experience with cutting and some things I couldn't do, like nails on hands, they were too small for my cutters:

So, in the end they look like this. The first prints were too light, I experienced with different paints. I realized that gouache works better than acrylic.
