Sunsets and seascapes are so moody and one of my favorite subject to paint is the evening skies. They are so aesthetic and full of beautiful colors.

This class came to existence as I was trying balance work life and other extraordinary events (kids classes, workshops, return to work, and many more unforeseen situations). This class is for busy individuals who like to paint but find it hard create aesthetic watercolor paintings in quick and easy way. I have personally discovered this style this year while I had an urge to paint but had very limited time to indulge. These easy dramatic washes helped stay on track in my art journey. I hope you will enjoy and like my class as much as I like creating them.

In this class i will show you how to paint beautiful sunsets using watercolors. The class consists of real time videos for beginners and can be very interesting for intermediate artists who find painting in loose style particularly challenging.

Painting sunsets can be very calming with watercolors. Painting with watercolors allows us to relax our minds and enjoy the painting process.

I will start with explaining all the materials and colors you need, we are going to paint together two landscapes from start to finish. We will be going through the step by step process of the painting so that it is easy for you to follow through.

Here is a list of materials that you will need to begin the class:

Watercolor paper - ideally 300gsm cold pressed 100% cotton paper (size 5" by 8" and 4 * 6 is used in the class projects)
Watercolor paints - any basic set would do.
Watercolor brushes - a flat brush/mop brush, pointed round size 6 or 10, pointed round size 6 or 4.
Water of course!
Masking tape
