This project was hard for me, not skills-wise, and I don't think I'm particularly self-concious about my face, but I'll try to explain. I didn't have fun, I've done these exercises before and I don't know if they helped me then either. I could only think of how I wasn't having fun and not acting like a child. All I'm feeling is upset and aggravated. If you're not feeling happy after this either, I'm with you.

I've been feeling like I've lost my creativity so decided to try this class. I started with the non-dominant hand (my right hand).

This single-line drawing is probably my favorite, although I did cheat just a tiny bit. I like how the eyes came out.

I did three separate not-looking-at-the-page on top of each other to give it a little more complexity.

I tried again and got a potato, a sassy potato.

Since I was doing it with my eyes closed, I also drew myself with closed eyes. (notice the tear down the cheek)

For the last one, I just did a regular self-portrait, I was feeling very upset by this point and wanted to express it.

This class wasn't for me. I don't exactly know how to explain it. I want to call myself broken for not "reconnecting with my creative self". I want to hate this class for not giving me the fun I wanted to have. I'll just have to be more careful about what class I pick in the future.
