Class Project: Create Your Own Power BI Dashboard

For this class project, you’ll take the same dataset I used in the lessons and build your own customized report and dashboard. The dataset is provided as a .csv file, featuring information on 220 cars.

This is your chance to get hands-on experience and practice the key skills learned in class!

Here’s what I’d like you to achieve:

Import the Dataset: Use the provided .csv file to get started.
Build Your Report: Create a report that includes at least four different types of visuals (e.g., bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, tables). Experiment with layouts, styles, and visual elements.
Publish Your Dashboard: Upload your report to Power BI online and create a dashboard that showcases your visuals.

Tips for Success:

You can replicate the layout I created in the class, but I encourage you to experiment with your own designs! Try different visual combinations, sizes, and layouts to make it uniquely yours.
Perfection isn’t necessary—focus on completing the three steps above. These skills will set you up to work with any dataset in the future.

Share Your Work!
Once your report and dashboard are ready, feel free to upload a screenshot or share a link in the project gallery. It’s a great way to inspire others and get feedback on your work.

Need Help?
If you have any questions or get stuck, leave a comment, and I’ll respond as soon as possible to guide you through the process.
