Hey there, Artist! 👋

Ever feel a little intimidated when it comes to drawing people?

Do your characters sometimes feel a bit stiff, or do you struggle to capture natural, everyday movements?

You're in the right place! Welcome to this cozy, low-pressure 3-Day Sketching Challenge.

Time to draw stylish outfits, capture a cozy slice-of-life scene, or sketch an action-packed pose!

This class is all about having fun and building your confidence one sketch at a time.

What We'll Sketch Together:

Before we go into the days, we'll start with a special video on Resources for Drawing People, where I'll share my favorite places to find great references and inspiration to set you up for success.

Then, we jump into the challenge: 🥰

Day 1 - Outfits & Garbs: We’ll focus on what our characters are wearing! Learn how to draw clothes, capture folds, and give your characters some unique fashion personality.
Day 2 - Small Routine Actions: We'll capture the cozy beauty of everyday life. We'll sketch characters doing simple, relatable things (like reading, sitting, or holding a cup) to make them feel alive.
Day 3 - Movement & Energy Poses: Time to get dynamic! We'll explore action poses and learn how to breathe life, momentum, and energy into your sketches.

Less Theory, More Practice

This is a highly practical class. That means you'll be practicing right alongside me!

I've included a very simple assignment for you to follow along with.

You just need to follow the steps, and by the end of our time together, you'll have a wonderful collection of character sketches.

🤔 Perfect if you're:

A beginner who wants to draw people but doesn't know where to start.
Looking to loosen up your art style and make your characters feel less "stiff."
Wanting a quick, fun, and guided challenge to boost your drawing habits.
Tired of complex anatomy and just want to enjoy sketching!

What Tools Do I Need?

Keep it simple! Grab a pencil and your favorite sketchbook, or if you prefer drawing digitally, use your drawing tablet and favorite app.

I'll also be using a pen + eraser.

Whatever makes you feel cozy and creative works perfectly.

Ready to surprise yourself?

Let's start sketching together! ✨

And as always,

Keep on drawing.
