Your assignment is to make a floral composition showing what you’ve learned in this class.

You can upload the floral wreath that we’ve made in class or you can come up with your own composition. I encourage you to go for a walk and take your own photos of some flowers to make your project.

The steps that you have to follow to make your class project are:

Choose the kind of floral composition that you want to make: a bouquet, a wreath, or something else!
Choose the flowers that you want to include in the composition.
Sketch the general shape of the composition.
Arrange the different flowers in your sketch using simple shapes.
Once that you’re happy with the composition, start to sketch each flower in its place.
Ink the general structures of the flowers.
Shade the flowers.
Add small details.
Take a photo of your illustration or scan it and upload it to the class project section!

Don’t forget to take photos along the process. You can attach them to the class project and I’ll be able to give you feedback and advice if you have any doubts.
