This is a beautiful painting of a yellow rose that I found peaking through a rose bush. It is in the shadows with some peak-a-boo highlights from the sun.

You will learn how to use glazing to create form and discover how to make glass sparkle in a few simple steps. This class is best for the intermediate painter, but levels of artist can get practice and information from this lesson.

COLORS (If you don't have these colors, use what you have unless you want to spend the money to purchase)

Permanent Yellow Light

Aureolin, New Gamboge (and any other yellows you have)

Permanent rose

Permanent Alizarin Crimson

Winsor Blue (or Thalo blue)

Quinacridone Gold by Winsor Newton (this brand has the best color to mix with Winsor Blue for various greens)

Dioxazine Purple

Hookers Green Dark

Burnt Sienna

Cad Orange

OTHER SUPPLIES

140 LB Arches Cold Press Paper (This is the best paper to use)

2H pencil/eraser

Paint Brushes

Super soft brush for blending (You can use make up brushes or any inexpensive super soft brush.)

Masking fluid/rubber cement pick up

Terry cloth towels

Blue painters tape

Any other supplies you have
