Your Curriculum

  1. 01

    Explore Techniques and Trends

The first week includes painting practice to get you creating right away, and lessons from Cat’s classes about the trends and styles that will set you up for success selling your work online. Join two live sessions: one welcome session to meet your fellow creatives, and a deep dive where Cat will share her hard-earned art licensing insights. By the end of the week, you’ll have some paintings under your belt, and will feel ready to identify trends, colors, and motifs that are likely to sell well online.

  2. 02

    Paint, Paint, Paint

This week is all about putting brush to paper! Take your favorite ideas from week 1, and build them out with direct feedback along the way. The week’s live session is a paint-along with Cat. Watch her process in real time, ask questions, and apply what you learn. Finally, pick your favorite works of art to digitize and polish in week 3.

  3. 03

    Digitize and Polish Your Work

This week, learn how to get your work from paper to screen, manipulate your images in Photoshop, remove imperfections, and adjust colors. Bring your polished creations to the feedback live session for small group sharing and critique. And then address that feedback and put on the finishing touches to create a final image that’s ready for its spotlight.

  4. 04

    Create Your Art Store

This week, learn all about the world of print-on-demand, set up your very own shop, and list your new artwork for sale! The final live session will be an opportunity to celebrate with the group, share your store, and explore next steps on your artistic journey.

"Cat is an AMAZING art instructor. Clear, concise, creative, talented, generous - a true powerhouse."
