About This Class

Getting into some more advanced sh*t!

Photo composition is the marriage between

  1. ‘cutting’ backgrounds in PS [go to class here: https://skl.sh/2JjuKaM ] as you need to know how to get multiple subjects out of different images
  2. photo editing in PS [go to class here: https://skl.sh/2yJeIpN ] as you need to know how to make those multiple subjects from all over the place, look like they are from the same scenery in a cohesive composition.

TALKING:

  • what it is?
  • when you use it? [applications]
  • why use it?
  • going through the steps of the photo composition process
  • focus on choosing the right imagery & proper execution
  • perspective & lighting
  • discussing & overcoming different challenges
  • going through a project start – finish
  • your project

...and actually learning how to become your own critic, assessing your composition, what needs to be done and figuring out what technique you have to use to achieve it!

TECHNIQUE-wise:

  • diving deeper into masks
  • using multiple adjustment layers
  • shading and highlighting
  • transparency & blending modes

....and other already known ones [from previous classes]: cropping, pen tool, retouching, cloning, color adjustments, etc ...

Can't wait to 'see' you there....stay amazing,
Em B-)
