About This Class

Do you want to push your career as a C# developer to new heights? Of course—who hasn't! It's time to dive into the world of mobile development. A few years ago that would have meant building Windows Phone apps, or learning a slew of new languages and IDEs. Not anymore! With the advent of Xamarin, we can now write mobile applications that target multiple platforms in a single language using tools that we are very comfortable with. If you are anything like me, you are already excited. Want to hear more? Let's get to it.

The course is certainly worth the investment - in both time and money. The instructor does a great job of giving examples and exercises. I like the how the instructor often teaches the most simple approach to problems allowing you to experiment on your own, rather than bogging down the course in deeper theory and concepts.

Derek Jensen

Web And Mobile Apps Developer

Derek Jensen is a lifetime nerd that calls the Chicagoland area home. He is your typical family man that loves activities with his wonderful wife and three amazing children. He is huge sports buff (both playing and coaching) and loves football, baseball and basketball. He loves just about any technology he can get his hands on but spends most of him time on the server side of the world. His day job consists of writing highly transactional backend web services, data access layers, and n-tier applications using the .NET Framework in C#. At night, when he's not spending time with his family, he enjoys teaching classes and creating ASP.NET MVC web sites and mobile apps for clients.
