About This Class
With the web becoming more and more involved in our daily lives, being able to create your own little corner of the web has never been more important (or exciting).
In under one hour with Webflow's Mat Vogels, you'll cover a variety of different topics, including:
- Why you should be online in the first place
- Basic web concepts, like the box model and responsive design
- Building a website from scratch
- Publishing a website
No prior knowledge of either Webflow or web design is required for this class, however, a basic understanding of either will make the course easier. Each lesson uses Webflow to demonstrate key topics and steps in creating our website.
We hope that this course is both fun and educational, and look forward to what you create in the future!
Webflow is a web design tool, CMS, and hosting platform all in one. Webflow allows users to visually build fully-custom, responsive websites without writing code.

It would be very hard to learn WebFlow without tutorials and this one is very good, but it is essential to replicate all the many steps using the software. Just watching is not going to work.
The course is very well structured and organised around the knowledge chunks that you need in order to be able to "play" with webflow yourself. But in order to understand webflow (as well as the course content) you do need a basic knowledge of web design.
My name is Mat, and I'm a designer and evangalist at Webflow. I hope to teach designers, freelancers and businesses the path to understand on the web, so that they feel empowered to create amazing web experiences.
