About This Class
If you are an instructor on Skillshare, or are considering teaching a class on the platform, then you really should take this class today.
I strongly believe that tracking your progress every day and having a good idea how much your classes are earning in any given month ultimately plays an important part in how successful you will be as a Skillshare instructor.
Take the guesswork out of how much you may or may not earn on Skillshare this month and set yourself revenue targets that you can monitor as you progress through the month.
In this class, you will learn both my Rough and Ready Daily Process for counting the approximate number of premium students as well as the more Advanced Monthly Process that will give you an exact figure.
By following there two processes, you will learn how to:
- Work out the exact number of Premium enrollments to each of your classes on a month-to-month basis
- Estimate your monthly royalties more accurately
- Work out the earnings per premium enrollment once you receive your royalties for a particular month
- Compare the number of premium enrollments to previous months to see which classes are providing you with a "passive" income
- Get a better idea of how successful a class really is
- Discover the impact of a new class in a series on the other classes in the same series
- Learn what categories earn the most royalties?
- Learn what topics are most successful?
And what’s more, I have set a very practical Class Project for you to complete, where you can see for yourself just how easy it is to keep track of the premium students taking your classes
So please enroll in my class and take the guesswork out of how much you are earning on Skillshare.

A Little Bit More About Me
My name is David James Ault and I am a British ex-pat living in Slovakia, in the heart of Europe, with my wonderful Slovak wife, our three children and our English Bullterrier, Shaggy.
Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in European Business, the first part of my career was spent in marketing, especially in the tourism industry, and during that time, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, at the CIM.
In 2001, I moved from the UK to Slovakia, where I set up a tourism portal about Slovakia and wrote travel related articles and books. I also began writing my first novel.
During the last 15 years, I have written non-fiction books in a variety of niches and set up a number of successful websites to promote my various interests. More recently, I have also been writing fiction and non-fiction books for teenagers and young adults and, in 2015, I set myself the goal of becoming a full-time Writer Teacher within the next couple of years.
I have an eclectic range of interests, including languages, writing, history, online marketing, design and travel. I also have a passion for cooking and eating healthy food, as well as the traditional Slovak dishes I have discovered, whilst living in the heart of Europe.
I have created a number of online courses for many of my niches and I have set up both the How To Publish An eBook and the Teach Someone A Lesson websites to impart some of the knowledge I have learned over the years to my students.
