About This Class

I show how I style and photograph a stack of pancakes in four different styles: spring, summer, fall and winter. To create the right season I use different props like cloths, jugs, plates and some fruit of the season. I also explain how you can use the light balance on your photocamera to create the crisp light of summer or the moody darkness of winter.

For the project the students have to upload two photos of their favoriet food or drink in two different seasons. There is a contest: At the end of March I will choose the best ones.

Good assignment to try!
Really enjoyed the teaching on how light sets the tone for a season. It's something I hardly thought of before, and I can see it will dramatically improve my food photos, especially.
