About This Class

This course will introduce the Chinese sound system. It will provide you basis for learning Chinese speaking and listening through the introduction of Chinese sound system--pinyin with its tones, initials, finals and spelling rules. The instructor is Professor Hong Zeng, an award-winning professor of Chinese for 16 years in prestigious American universities.
