About This Class

In this class I will show you how to create moving portraits with a matte effect in Adobe After Effects using public domain videos and images. I will show you where to find and download public domain photographs and videos, and I will guide you through the process of creating the effect step by step. Finally we will add a little bit of magic by using a video to make a revealing effect.

I think previous knowledge of After Effects is helpful, but she guides you through the steps well. The links she includes to public domain photos and videos are a great resource. The only improvement would be to include keyboard shortcuts to get the steps done easier.
I wish there was more clarity as to changing and combining compositions.
Cool course! Very easy to follow. Check out some of my classes if you're interested!

Visual designer

I am a visual designer with a growing interest in illustration and 2D animation. My education was more oriented to human science research, but my experience has been on creative projects, specially through the use of technology. I worked as web designer at Parque Explora Medellin before starting teaching in communication, advertising, graphic and fashion design university programs. I have taught Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, HTML and CSS for beginners, Adobe InDesign and more recently Adobe After Effects.
